  1. Sounds great. 😀 And with your massive beard you will be able to rock that look even if you gradually lose some of what you have up top over the next decades. That look is great for aging and will always make you appear manly, sober and not in denial.
  2. Looking great so far. You should keep you hair that length even after the result is done. A long style will always make the hair appear thinner.
  3. Now we're talking. Echo the wish to see more pics when you can find the time. But no matter what, congrats on your new hairline!
  4. The first part sounds good. But the second part got me worried. Sent you a PM.
  5. SMP stands for Scalp MicroPigmentation. There is an entire subforum here: https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/forum/83-scalp-micropigmentation-smp/
  6. What a wonderful trurnaround, almost brought a tear to my eye to see how good your front looks now. One question, have you experimented with lengths on the botched part of your donor and what is the optimal one? Have pics? Also, have you considered SMP in your donor and keep it shaved down?
  7. Very important thread. A very tough condition to face as a 30 year old woman. Looking forward to following your journey, please keep us updated.
  8. Yes, let's evaluate this one after the maturation of the hairs is done. When it all blends together I think you will be happy.
  9. I mean, the placement and cleanliness in the after pictures look great. The pictures of 7 months show that there is a lot of hair that grew. I echo the request to see it better styled, preferably upwards with a comb.
  10. Nice! So now that you had a homerun in the front, are you completing the situation by going for the crown aswell? Sorry if it's been adressed earlier in the thread.
  11. Hello mate! Over 10 months since your procedure now. Time flies eh? How are things progressing? My date with dr De Freitas is coming up on 9th of September. Still no info from them regarding any changes in schedule due to Covid-19. I saw on insta they were closed for a few weeks but are now opened up again having taken the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of patients and staff. Hope everything is great on your end.
  12. Curious about the bolded. Can you please provide some photo evidence of this being true? I am very interested in doing it myself but I haven't found any good evidence so far.
  13. Nice, you should rock that longer dry hairstyle as using gel and/or keeping a short style made your hair look thinner.
  14. You have perfect hair characteristics for a hair transplant. Wowawiwaaaaaa. Congrats on your new life, don't think about no touch ups.
  15. Mind sharing which one? Could be important to know for future hair transplant patients.
  16. So, who here had their procedure postponed? What clinics closed down and which ones are up and running?
  17. I'm a layman but a longtime student of the game. From what I gathered new growth can absolutely occur after 6 months although in most cases the majority of the sprouting will be done by that time. The big thing after this is maturation of the hairs which will make them appear fuller and blend in with the old hair. You have 6 more months until a result, sometimes more. But the hard part is over for you!
