  1. Will follow closely. Too few patient threads from HDC. Always impressed by them.
  2. So the same clinic as @NickC. He had a fantastic result.
  3. Name of the clinic? I'm sorry if it was mentioned already but it was hard to find in that wall of text. Maybe try splitting it up into paragraphs. Good luck to you and please keep us updated!
  4. Will be interesting to see how this one looks just before Christmas. Your native hair behind the recipient area is one of the thickest I've seen in my life. Please know that you will never have a transplant result that equals that thickness. You can still get a great result of course and make it blend in by finding the right style.
  5. Wow, you really had a lot of area to cover with just 5k grafts. That is good growth. Are you happy with the crown too?
  6. So they will be able to assess the donor's recovery already on the next day? Because in this case they already planned on doing two days of FUE in a row for a total of 2800 grafts. They told me the same thing when I was quoted 2300 grafts in consultation, that they will do 1500 the first day and then 800 the second day. I'm unsure what you mean by thinning if you're not talking about shockloss because the number of grafts removed will be the same if it's removed in one day or two days back to back.
  7. 5 months to go before a result. Looking on track so far. Maturation of those wiry hairs will play a big part for you.
  8. Looking gooood. Important to include the before shot. Your loss wasn't mild and 4500 was the bare minimum needed. Also you are able to wear your sides relatively short which is important if you want to sport a modern hairstyle.
  9. Please get back to us here when the answers have come. A lot of interesting questions.
  10. Hmmm. I'm sorry I don't understand what you mean here. Could you please elaborate?
  11. So it seems you should skip DUT for now as it will cause unnecessary stress. There's a lot of different views even from the docs on the effect of PRP. It won't make things worse at least. But you do as you feel. The most important thing is stay on current regimen and just chill and let time work its magic.
  12. Wow! Massive result. If I remember correctly you are a gentleman of over 70 years? Goes to show it's never too late to realize your dream of hair.
  13. Are you going in for PRP at 3 months? I think that was offered in the package if I'm not mistaken?
  14. Few points: 1. Any pics of the shock loss in donor? 2. Stick to current regimen. Don't go on DUT yet as it is a strong drug and you are lucky not to have any sides from fin. 3. You look ahead of the curve. You will feel really good at 6 months I think.
  15. Soon 3 years. Would be interesting to see how it holds up. And if the frizzyness settled. Hope all is well with you, Jax.
  16. Your journey has been inspiring. So happy for you and your new life. Which is exactly what it is.
  17. Great choice in surgeon. WIll follow. Good luck to you mate!
  18. Because Dr Keser does everything himself, he can do about 500 a day and still guarantee highest quality of work in each transaction of each graft. After that I guess fatigue starts to play a role. Doctors are humans too.
  19. Never heard of them, sorry. Now that you mentioned you will soon be a medical doctor, I'd say another option would be to save up money working two-three years and then go to the best in North America: H&W. But then again, a 5k session at their place might be too hefty even with a doctor's salary. And then the waiting... well, just wanted to throw the option in there. That is great and another testament of the power of this forum. Will be interesting to see how the Dr stands by his work.
