Advice for Hair Loss Sufferers Considering Hair Transplant Surgery

My Story

  1. Hello people I had my HT exactly 3 months ago. I first shared my reports in another forum. Since I often read here, I want to make it available to you guys as well. ***************** My old post ***************** Good day dear forum community Like most of you, I have been a silent reader here. Now I would like to return the favor by sharing my experience. My background: Currently I am 34 years old. The hair loss started a little over 10 years ago. I was aware from the beginning that I would eventually do HT. Then about 1.5 years ago (fall 2019) I contacted doctors for the first time. Based on the forum, I had chosen the following doctors: Koray Erdogan, Kaan Pekiner, Erkan Demirsoy and HLC. I received two responses at that time: Start with Finasteride, then they would re-evaluate the situation later. Finasteride had a noticeable effect. Fortunately, I have no side effects. A year later, the consistent feedback was that situation is good now and HT can be done. After very informative discussions with Mr. Clemens Weber, I had actually already decided on Dr. Demirsoy last fall. Unfortunately, the first two proposed appointments did not fit for me. In this phase I had doubts whether I should do a manual HT, because my donor was viewed somewhat critically in advance and I could do the whole thing more gently with the manual variant. I can answer with a clear "I don't know" whether the manual removal justifies the almost twice as high amount. But together with the fact that Dr. Pekiner would also use beard hair, I decided after informative discussions with Mehmet (works for Dr. Kaan Pekiner) to perform the surgery with him. I must emphasize here that the decision for Dr. Pekiner does not mean that something is bad about the other doctors. I only noticed one doctor who was negative. This was not due to the doctor himself, but to the very unfriendly contact person. The last uncertainty came about two weeks ago, when I saw a video of Joe Tillman about multi-grafts and microscopes. Unfortunately, there were conflicting statements in the forums about the use of microscopes by Dr. Pekiner. Fortunately, it turns out that microscopes are used at Dr. Pekiner. OP On 27. 01 I flew to Ankara. Transfer and hotel were organized by the team beforehand. On 28. 01. at 08:30 the much described process with meeting, hairline definition etc. began. I had only one small change request to the hairline proposed by Dr. Pekiner. Unlike many other doctors in Turkey who consider themselves gods in white, Dr. Pekiner was very empathetic. Often he could not immediately share my observation, but took time to see it from my "point of view". In all, the surgery took place over 2.5 days. I will spare you the usual information about lunch, etc. The injections were associated with some pain. But you have to put up with that. The removal and insertion did not hurt. Only in certain places the skin seemed to be a little more sensitive. Dr. Pekiner did the work, one assistant was with him and a second was busy separating the grafts. Towards the end I also asked for a PRP treatment. Subsequently, this was also performed. To my surprise, Dr. Pekiner gave the PRP treatment as a gift. In addition, the team organized a supply of Finasteride and Biotin for me. I am now back home and waiting for everything to heal. In the meantime I go to the bathroom every 5 minutes to check the result.
  2. This year I decided I am going to fully commit to a hair transplant. I've been on Finasteride for about 5 months now and 5% Minoxidil for a little over a year (previously on a Min/Fin compound). I'm in my mid-20s and have already met with a dermatologist and a local hair surgeon, both of whom have said I've been a good candidate for a while. I have a bunch of questions and I'd really appreciate any help you guys could provide. I'm not new to this journey, I've been fighting this since I was 18. I attached some photos of where I'm at. I believe I'm a Norwood 3A. Does that sound right? I'm willing to spend a decent chunk to fix this for good. I've already talked with my friends and family and they are very uncomfortable with me going to Turkey (which I respect), but I wouldn't mind traveling anywhere in North America (US or CAN) to get good results for a reasonable price. Ideally, I'm looking to spend $12,000 or less. I'm a young adult and would likely be taking a hefty loan from family for what I cant cover in cash, but this is important enough for me to justify it. Since Turkey is out of the picture, is this a reasonable budget for the amount of follicles I'd need? I would much rather get FUE than FUT, but I'd also be open to new technologies if there are other options. My dermatologist and the my local surgeon both said I have a good sized donor area on the back of my head and I have plenty of facial and upper body hair as well. I attached a photo of what I believe would be my donor area - it is very thick. It seems what everyone suggests is to look at past results and find a doctor who is experienced with my hair type and Norwood stage. In my area (GA), I've seen good results from Cooley Hair Center (NC) and Dr. Rousso (AL). I've already met with Doctor Anderson in Atlanta, but he left a pretty rude first impression. He came off pretty condescending when I asked more about the scientific validity of the $1200 laser cap he was trying to sell me. Looking back, it could have just been that he though I was 'some kid' wasting his time and not a real client. Overall, I'm looking for a surgeon or a team who is willing to take care of me. I'm looking for someone who is willing to do whatever it takes to get me the best results -- someone that sees FUE almost as an artform, rather than just rushing to get me out so he can fit in his 3-o-clock appointment before a round of golf. Are there any special or new technologies or techniques I should look out for? I've seen ARTAS iX and NeoGraft mentioned. Are there any other new technologies? I'd also consider getting SMP tattoos, if necessary. To put it simply, I'm looking to take back control of how I look. I'm sick of wearing hats because I don't like who I see in the mirror. I would like to bring my temples back to a reasonable level. I naturally had a high widow's peak, and hair loss brought it even farther back. The last photo attached is my goal. Is this unrealistic in my budget? Do I need to start shaking trees? I've seen several places warning to turn around and walk out of anywhere charging per follicle. That being said, I don't have money to burn. I'm ready to commit to a hefty price-tag, but I need every dollar to count. Am I insane? Or is it possible clinics would be reasonable with pricing for a young-adult willing to spend a decent chunk of his life savings to regain control and confidence? Finally, is now the right time for this? Or am I going to spend $15k only to see "magic pill finally approved by FDA" the next day? Has there been any progress on "the cure" that's been "5 years away" for the past 30+ years? Is there any promising science in the pipeline or delayed due to COVID that'll show up? I've done a fair bit of research so far, but any more help, thoughts, or opinions would be great. Thank you!
  3. I am a NW2 and aged 28. No sign of rapid baldness or hair loss. I have very slow progression of hair loss. I am planning for HT to lower my hairline little bit. I DONT WANT TO TAKE FINASTERIDE after transplant. My queries are.. Will all the transplanted hairs grow even if don't take finasteride after surgery? Does transplanted hair fall after sometime? or is it permanent? I have read the transplant hair also undergoes miniaturisation and eventually fall off. I comfortable being bald in my late 40s. But I am skeptical about whether my hairline will look bad if only surrounding native hairs fall out.
  4. Hello everyone next week I’m having my hair transplant and from here I’m gonna be posting about my journey and my experience...I’m very aware about the first couple months and the ugly ducking phase but I’m ready for it
  5. Hi all, Its Day 25 post FUE, and I just noticed this significant bald line behind my left ear in the donor area. This area is impossible to see without a mirror at a certain angle, so I am just noticing it now and don't know when it developed. Hoping this is just run-of-the-mill temporary shock loss, but anxious if this is something else/worse. I'm concerned because most shock loss photos I've seen, the shock loss appears more to be a blob/ambiguous shape, whereas this bald patch seems like a predetermined line (I could be wrong on this though). The picture with all scabs is left side of my head 5 days post op. The other pics are left side of my head today/Day 25. Note that some of the pics mistakenly make it look like its on the right side of my head, thats just bc I reversed my phone's camera settings for some of the pics - just to clarify this is a single line shape only appearing on the left side behind my ear. For what its worth, this surgeon and a different one remarked I have incredibly thick donor hair. I also know anesthesia can be related to shock loss - it seemed like they were generous with the lidocaine, I rarely felt any pain during the procedure, but can't gauge if they really used more than normal. I also could be wrong, but it looks like this line is actually a significantly a bit lower than where most of the donor hair on the left side was taken. Essentially wondering if this seems like normal temporary shock loss or any thoughts what it can be? Should I start applying Rogaine on this area 1x/day or what should next steps be besides obviously waiting it out? Thanks,
  6. Hello Folks! This is my second thread on this Forum. My previous thread intended to seek suggestions and gain insight about best FUE surgeons in India. I am very grateful to this forum for all the help. If you want to look at my initial photos please refer to that thread. In this thread I will only record my surgery experience and the journey post-surgery. Ultimately one has to make a decision and I have booked my HT with Eugenix at their Gurgaon location on June 18, 2020. I have selected their most affordable pkg. More excited than me are my friends and relations who have tried everything to save their hair, but never had the courage to opt for a HT. I think a lot of them would follow suit if I get good results. I made this booking about 1 month ago or so when COVID-19 was still not a pandemic and I was hoping that things would calm down by the end of May at most and the self Isolation rules for international passengers arriving in India would be relaxed. Lets see how things unfold. Lot of uncertainty for now. Looking forward to meet @GabreilleN @Abhinay Singh and team Eugenix in June!! Also hoping that the clinic staff and their families stay safe, healthy, and sustain financially in this tough time!
  7. Hi all, I saw here one guy also did his surgery in Bellus Clinic in Istanbul, so I decided to share my experience too. Here are my pre op photos taken just before the surgery. I was transplanted 5500 grafts with FUE technique. Doctor was saying it would be better to use some additional body hair to have full natural density, but unfortunately I have very few hair on my body and my wife was against using my beard hair, so they just used my donor area on my scalp and they could take 5500 grafts. These pics were done during the first three months, when normally transplanted hair fall down. On the fourth month I felt they started to grow fast. Here it is me after 3 months. And this is after 5 months On these photos it is about 7 months post op And this is my latest photo, the same on my profile. It is 9 months after FUE hair transplant. Of course I am very happy with the results. Frankly speaking I did not believe in hair transplants much, I even never searched for it, I was in Turkey for a holiday with my family and saw so many people after this procedure in the lobby of our hotel, talked with them and got so excited, just thought maybe it would work, just gave it a try and I am really very happy with results now, my friends and family tell me I look 15 years younger then before and I really feel more confident. I will keep you updated and post some new photos sometimes. Hope my post will be helpful for somebody who is not sure that it really works.

  11. Hi I'm suffering traction alopecia after many years of wearing a turban. I've read that my hair will never grow back in the affected area. The rest of my hair is fine luckily. Does anyone know if a hair transplant will work in my scenario? Thanks
  12. Can anyone share their own personal experience with beard to head hair transplant? What are some things to watch out for? Does the hair look natural? Thx
  13. A 30 year old male suffering from NH grade 3V baldness for 3-4 years was looking for covering the bald scalp in one session only. He underwent FUE hair transplant and 2235 grafts (1618 scalp & 617 beard) were transplanted in two days. The surgery was uneventful and the patient is happy & satisfied with the results after 1 Year.
  14. hello friends, I am Rizwaan, a 32-years-old man . I am working in a Fashion industry as a PR Manager. I had a genetic cause of baldness as my grandfather had also the same problem. One year before had my hair transplant at DR ZEN hair transplant centre. I have attached the After and Before Pics of my hair condition to show you my natural regrown hair results with an aesthetic effect
  15. Introduction: I’m a 25 YO male, suffering from hair-loss since around 20 years old, and so I have been on Propecia ever since; Propecia managed to considerably slow my hair-loss in the crown area, but less so in my temples. This is why I have decided that it’s time to undergo a hair transplant. I have researched countless clinics and doctors in Europe/UK. I have also requested consultation of many; the main concern from all the clinics was that my hairless is progressive and I will definitely bald some more in the future, and therefore, I needed to choose the best to have a solid plan in place to not look bald at any point. After researching extensively for a year, I was convinced to go with Dr Bijan Feriduni as he is; Properly licensed/accredited by all the relevant societies/qualifications. Has a vast amount of experience with countless successful cases, many of them more severe than mine. Despite being significantly more expensive than Istanbul, I found that the price difference was well worth the added quality and personalization from Dr. Feriduni. Bearing in mind that his pricing is still less expensive than known clinics in the UK, making his services fairly priced. The consultation I got from Dr Feriduni was personalized and make a lot of sense to me. Here are some pictures; Day 0: Consultation, transplant, and tricho-pigmentation This is both the consultation and transplantation day. I arrived at the clinic around 08:00 AM. I was greeted by lovely receptionists and escorted to my private room. Which had couches, a medical bed, drawers for storage, water etc… After signing the contract and wearing the ‘OR clothes’ provided by the clinic I headed to the doctor’s office. The doctor is very friendly, humble, listened to all my thoughts and ideas and shows true care; this made me much more at ease. He then proceeded by taking photos with his microscope for the donor count etc… and made a long term plan based on donor availability. I was happy with the hair line which more or less resembled my previous hair line before the hair-loss started. Here are some before photos during the consultation; In the OR my head was shaved to 0.9mm, which gave me a mini panic attack 😅, however the nervousness was very short lived as Dr Feriduni administered midazolam; a rapid sedative that made me feel at ease in less than 10 seconds! This picture was taking of my donor and crown right before the operation started. You can tell that my crown area has very thin hairs, but Dr Feriduni suggested to cover that with pigmentation rather than a transplant in order to see the progress of the hairloss allowing the most efficient use of the valuable donor area! The Anesthetic injections were the only uncomfortable part, I expected them to be much more painful, but they were actually not all that bad. After the injections you don’t feel any kind of pain nor discomfort during extraction and implementation. It’s worthwhile to mention that extraction was done by the experienced assistants of the doctors, and so was the implementation (apart from the hairline which was done by Dr Feriduni). The doctor also made the incision opening before the extraction himself, to reduce the time that extracted grafts stay out of my body. In general, the operation was comfortable and I was watching friend on Netflix the entire time! The only uncomfortable part was extraction, as you’d have to lay down on your face for a while on a massage type bed, and you face is bound to get numb after a while. However, there wasn’t any actual pain from the extraction process itself. I then proceeded to have a BLT sandwich in my clinic room, before heading to the OR again for the trichopigmentation done by Dr. Yasmine Feriduni (BIjan’s wife), she is also very friendly and lively! The trichopigmentation was not painful at all, especially for the fact that my scalp was somewhat numb from the operation. Trichopigmentation should immediate density effect when compared to my pre photo. Here are some immediate post-op photos, notice the denser crown area from the pigmentation (also shown in the microscope) ! After this I went home, had dinner, and took Ibuprofen 600mg (pain killer) along with promethazine (which I bought with me; an antihistamine which helps me sleep and would reduce itchiness later on). I must say that the hardest part was sleeping with a sticky head on the neck pillow as oppose to my usually sleep on my stomach face buried in the pillow! I was given a saline hair spray (to use every 30 minutes) along with a foaming shampoo, serums, oil, and vitamins. Also I do recommend taking the Feriduni discount for the nearby Hassotel, which had great breakfast, and a spacious room and private terrace (if you choose the penthouse suit). Day 3: Second trichopigmentation session Its worthwhile to mention that I got a hair wash on day 2 in the clinic, and again at day 3, in which I also got another pigmentation session, this time without any anasthesia, but it wasn't actually painful but rather a bit uncomfortable. Some day 3 pictures; At this day I had no pain whatsoever. I also opted from using the neck pillow and instead made a "pillow castle" in a way which would prevent from rolling over or touching the grafts against the pillow while maintaining a 45 degree angle. At evening I went to a delicious sushi Resturant which is 5 minutes away from the hotel In which I enjoyed sushi along with ASAHI Japanese beer (Doctor allowed me a couple of beers ) !
  16. Both have quoted similar graft counts for similar prices. Dr. Bisanga has opened a clinic where he will supervise two other surgeons who that help with punch extraction and incisions, and the technicians do the placing process. Koray Erdogan at ASMED on the other hand will design the hairline whereas I believe technicians do all the rest of the work. I understand ASMED's reputation has been wavering for mega-sessions, but the amount I was quoted definitely isn't considered a megasession. I also have heard a lot more negativity about ASMED but the post's from users actually seem pretty solid, so I think ASMED's clinic still seems ideal. Is Bisanga's reputation for his new clinic enough to go to it, even if he realistically has no part in the procedure?
  17. Hello! I have been interested in a hair transplant for 2 years. I am 24 years old, and my hair loss has halted since I started taking Finasteride 2 years ago and Minoxidil 1 year ago. See images here: https://imgur.com/a/Hbb8qSL. Currently, I am planning on getting an FUE procedure with Dr. Koray Erdogan. His clinic is recommending 2500-3200 grafts and settled on 3000. I am concerned this might be a bit much but I also like the idea of not having to get another transplant later. He will be doing the hole incisions himself and his surgical staff is doing the implantation. The reason I am going to Turkey is not simply cost— I am willing to pay a premium for the best hair surgeon in Turkey (or elsewhere), not a random "hair mill". I have received quotes that are much more for way less reputable doctors in the US. I would appreciate any feedback on: - ASMED/ Koray Erdogan's clinic. Are there other clinics that would be worth inquiring about? - Their graft quote (is this too much or too little?) - Should I consider an FUT over an FUE? I like to keep the sides and back of my head short, so an FUT does not seem ideal because of the scar. - Is it possible to get a FUE procedure done without shaving the top of my head? Other background: If I were in my 30s or older I wouldn't really care about the hair loss and would just shave it, but I'm not a big fan of this look for my mid 20s. Thank you all so much!
  18. Hi all, I had an eyebrow transplant a little over 2 months ago & all the transplanted hair have fallen out as expected (there are a couple that have just elongated instead of falling out) and there's a very visible pinkness/redness. Also, the skin underneath looks a little bumpy and seems to have tiny holes where the incisions were made. I am starting to worry that this might be permanent scarring. I have been told by my doctor to take Benadryl and doxycycline, but the redness is still there. Please advise on what to do because I can't even go outside without a hat on. Thank you all!
  19. I started losing my hair at the age of 15… So this year in March I finally took the step to undergo a DHI hair transplant in Paris. A French YouTuber’s videos had convinced me with his videos as I saw the amazing results of his new hairline! Therefore I went to the same clinic and decided to document my own journey as well on my YouTube channel. I truly hope these videos can help others that are struggling with their hair loss, just like that French YouTuber helped me with his story. Personally, I’m very satisfied with the results, especially after seeing the comparison between the before & after 😊 Here you find a summary of my 6 months growth since Day 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqkbtdy-W7E&list=PLkzpL5QNn_ueEO8yQjtvNh_jAG2HPg0et&index=2&t=0s Final results will only be visible one year after the intervention. I’ll be uploading this update in the future as well of course! Happy growing to everyone! 😄
  20. I am a 28 year old Indian who went to US on a 2 year attachment with the IT company headquarters at Silicone Valley when I was 25. Within 3 months I started losing a lot of hair. The condition has gotten to such a pass that I am almost fully bald. I find I losing all my confidence and this is reflecting at my place of work. i tend to stay aloof. I wonder if anything can be done for me. Will I have a result at all. Can you point to me any surgeons in North India. In or around New Delhi. I do not wish a painful procedure like the cut method they call the FUSS! Is surgery painful? How much time to get the result? Please help me. I need to be done with this fast. Planning to get married in 2020.
  21. Hi all, I have been quoted £3000 for unlimited FUE grafts with a 12 months warranty and aftercare kit. Is this too good to be true? I always assumed that the procedure would be more expensive. Clinic is BMC in Kensington and surgeon is Dr. Bashar Bizrah Please let me know your thoughts or if you have alternative clinics/ Surgeries I should be in contact within the central London area. Many thanks
  22. Background: I am 31 years old North Indian working in Pune, have been losing hair for the past 5 years. I have tried using both Minoxidil and Finpecia for about a year and then stopped about 6 months back, as I just couldn't see myself doing it any further for the rest of my life. I'm not sure if it did stop my hair loss or helped regrow some of them, as there was nothing noticeable to my eye. Researching: I’m glad I found this forum, the forum provided me a vast data of other patient's doctor reviews and their HT journeys. After extensive reading for about 2 years, I decided to get a HT done, so it finally came down between Dr Bhatti and Dr Lorenzo, cost wasn’t an important factor, I believe in quality but Chandigarh City, being my home town and its much easier to meet Dr Bhatti and rest post HT, I opted for Dr Bhatti. Special thanks to Shera for his work on this forum. Email communication: I dropped an email to Dr. Bhatti around a month ago after getting his details from his website. He responded asking for some pics of my head. After seeing them, he estimated that I’d need around 1500 grafts for the front, 1000 grafts to cover my crown for a natural look as per my age. My hair other than the balding spot is reasonably thick, I have attached the before pictures to give a fair idea. I bombarded him with lot of questions and he responded to every single one of them and then finally fixed my HT for 16th April after an advance payment to block the date. Dr. Bhatti sent me a pre-OP instruction manual for me to go through. Do note, I did not opt for any hotel/guest house, as I have my own house in Chandigarh. Consultation: I landed at Chandigarh few days before my HT, as I had 14th April (Saturday) as my consultation date to discuss in person with Dr Bhatti at his newly built 5 River Hospital, Mohali to agree on hairline and get other blood tests done as part of pre-op. I gave my blood sample at Amulya Labs, located on the ground floor of 5 Rivers Hospital itself. Dr Amulyajit - she is Dr Bhatti’s wife, Dr Sharin (I think I might have misspelt her name) and Alex at the reception were really kind and caring and walked me through all the tests that I needed. They mentioned the reports will be sent over by email the same day (but for some reason I did not receive it) After Dr Bhatti examined me in person at 10:45am, I was told I would need 1000 grafts for the front and 1200 grafts for my crown. He drew me a hairline which was much lower than I was expecting, but he said it would look better on my face. I consulted with my parents who were with me, we agreed on the hairline but he still asked me to think it over the weekend before HT day. I was given few tablets that I needed to take a night before the HT (they were anti Anxiety, anti acid and another one which I don’t remember what it was for) and was asked to have only milk or juice and be ready at 7.30 AM for the pickup from my home. HT - Day 1: I was picked up by clinic driver Mr. Chanchal (he drove well and was fun to talk with as well) at 7:30am today. On reaching the clinic, I was made to change into OT clothes and deposit my valuable items like phone, cards etc. I had to sign few papers and pay approx. 80% before the operation (they do accept cards). A guy (didn’t get his name) tested me by inserting sample dose of antibiotic via needle in my hand to check if Im not allergic. I then reviewed the new hairline with Dr Bhatti for the final time before he trimmed my hair (a moment of shock to see myself bald for the first time, but to be honest didn’t look to bad ). On asking Dr Bhatti that I did not receive the lab report, he did mention the lab reports were all okay and we are good to proceed. Procedure started around 9am after injecting anaesthesia to my donor area, Dr Bhatti proceeded to harvest my grafts from the donor area. The harvesting machine drilled into my semi-numb scalp and the doctor extracted the grafts – which was not completely painless unfortunately (In my case the anaesthesia did not work in some part of my scalp even after increasing the dosage, this has happened with me before in my only other operation (tonsillitis)- that’s just my sour relation with anaesthesia smh). During harvesting, Dr Bhatti tried to strike a conversation to help me divert my mine, but the drill was still sort of painful but I was strong enough to bear it. After Harvesting was completed around 11’ish, my donor area was bandaged, we took a break for breakfast. Ate sandwich with juice (yummy) along with a toilet break. After breakfast, Dr Bhatti resumed in punching holes in my upper forehead (not sure about the technical term for it) for my hairline, which took quite a while before Plantation of the grafts was done by his staff, a total of 4 nurses (from what I could make out) – Sonam, Ankush, Manpreet and the other did not have a visible name tally. But the nurse staff was really kind and caring and kept on checking with me in between If Im okay, we had punjabi radio station in the background. I was not chatty due to the pain. After the plantation for my hairline was completed, we took lunch break around 2:15pm. I was given a Pizza and coke. FYI, Pizza preference was noted before the surgery started. Post lunch around 2:45pm, Dr Bhatti came back, this time for punching holes in my crown area (which btw did hurt) and then once he was done with it, the nursing staff took over for planting the grafts on my crown. Arushi came to check on me between the procedure, stating that it shouldn’t take much longer and Im almost at the end of it. The procedure finally finished around 4:30pm After the surgery was completed, Sonam took me in-front of a mirror and a chair, where Dr Bhatti came and explained me on how to use the saline lotion, antiseptic spray before wearing the bandana etc. He then changed my dressing for the donor area. Was again handed couple of tablets including pain killer for the first day and was asked to visit the clinic the next day at 9:30am for changing my dressing. Dr Bhatti would then explain me on how to take care of myself thereafter. Before leaving Shalini then asked one of the guy to make me some tea, which I had. after which I changed into my normal clothes. Was handed over my personal belongings. I forgot to take note of the number of singles, doubles and triples, will remember to do that tomorrow. I now have to manage day one which is critical, so far so good just got a bit of swelling on my forehead and it hurts if I touch it. Will keep this post updated. Wish me luck guys
  23. Hi everyone After wasting time and money, this year I decided to be operated. I am from Spain and the prices were too expensive. About 3 euros per graft. Here I could only get 2800 graft/ 7000 euros. At the same time, a friend of mine travelled to Turkey. He was told about cheaper prices and good clinics. In Europe there were a lot of documentaries about this new "low cost hair restoration fashion". I was very skeptical about that and I preferred to wait the facts in my friend?s head. He travelled in October 2016. When he came back, he told about the proffesional treatment of the staff. He looked like very glad. After 5 months, we started to see the results and these looked like exceptional. IMHO he would needed more density but he told me that he wanted the first line forward. It was his choice. Anyway, when I saw his results, I decided to try Turkey too with 4 coworkers more. I have been operated 5 days ago, so I have to wait for results, but it was true. The treatment received by the staff was kind and proffesional. While my stay I met a one guy from US that told me that he got 1600 graft for 15.000$. That was incredible for me and that is the reason why I am here. I want to help all that ones that don?t have enough money but wish to get their hair restoration. I will be posting my pictures here (Before and After) all these coming months to see results and help anyone who wants Thanks a lot
  24. A 54 year old gentleman with NH Grd VII baldness presented to us for hair restoration after having undergone 4 unsuccessful surgeries outside ( 1 FUT; 2 FUE scalp; 1 FUE - body plus scalp; - One of the surgeries included hair being extracted from body as well.) The donor area of the scalp was depleted and only body hair could be taken out for transplantation. So, we extracted body hair from different areas. We did 3395 grafts over 2 days. The distribution of the same was as follows: Beard- 2176 grafts; Chest - 620 grafts; Pubic - 160 grafts; Leg- 336 grafts; Underarms -103 grafts. The surgery went off well. The patient got good results and the patient was very happy even after three months post surgery.
  25. A 30 years old male with history of hair loss presented to us with NH grade IV baldness. He wanted to restore his fuller hair look in the frontal area and wanted a permanent solution for hair loss. As suggested, he underwent Bio FUE procedure and 4604 hair follicles (2320 grafts) were transplanted. The whole surgery was uneventful. Here are the results after 8 months. The patient is very happy and satisfied with his looks.
