  1. To be honest man, this doesn’t look too bad for 7 months, you still have a couple or a few more months for it to noticeably improve and don’t forget the caliber of the new hair that has already grown will double in thickness giving the appearance of better density, hopefully your next update shows some more improvement.
  2. IMO, I think it looks good given it was probably just somewhere around 1,600 to 1,750 grafts , and depending on your hair caliber, to give the 3,500 hairs they calculated so it’s a good conservative result and I can understand you wanting more to bring in more density in the temples or lower them a bit and you probably can if you choose to as you may have thousands more available donor grafts. Either way it’s a 👍🏻
  3. Hey man, sorry about what you’re going through at such a young age. Since you’re in NYC I would suggest going to see Dr Bloxham, does great work and is in Long Island so you don’t have to travel far to get a consultation with a reputable doctor. Here is a video he just posted to his YouTube channel of a young patient with similar hair loss pattern to yours, have a look and best of luck!
  4. Oh, I see...honestly, I think I would be okay with that given the number of grafts that the doctor utilized for you which seems on the low-to-mid end, but I totally understand where you’re coming from wanting it all to flow a little more naturally. I wonder if another few hundred grafts in each side would help “prop up” the new hair to flow a little more naturally due to the extra density, so that it was a little closer to you native density,... although I’m not suggesting you’d need it as I like the look of it as is. 🙂
  5. Thanks again and for answering with honesty, it’s very helpful and something those of us interested in Dr Demirsoy to think about.
  6. Thanks for taking and posting the photos, It really looks great and to me blends in very nicely and looks like the result of a surgeon that would charge top dollar elsewhere. Just curious, is there anything you regret with going with Dr Demirsoy, like asking for more grafts or going Manuel tool vs motorized etc etc?
  7. Also, if you don’t mind answering.. Did the doctor use manual or motorized tool for your extractions? And...How were your grafts placed, forceps or implanter pen? thanks!
  8. Looks great in my opinion. Would you have any photos from side and top down views?
  9. Nice Improvement since your 3rd month photos.
  10. Would be great to see some pre-op photos of both of your procedures.
  11. Any update since you are now past your 9th month post-op? thanks
  12. I think your donor area looks great from your last photo update, can barely tell anything was removed. I also like the way they did your temple triangles. The density although does need improving.
  13. Hey man, great write-up, will be following your progress. I don’t want to sound too “negative”, but, in my honest not-going-to-sugar-coat-it opinion, the hairline is a bit low for my comfort, i don’t know your age but you look to be in your mid-to-late 20’s going from your photos so I would have gone with a hairline just a bit higher like in-between the 2 blue lines the Dr drew on your scalp for the grafts to be placed in, around 1/2 an inch higher from his drawn hairline, reason being is the whole area/coverage/density/graft amount and further native hair thinning/loss native hair concern. Now with that said, you do look to be a slow grower/progressor so it’s still early in the game for you so I’m wishing you good luck, happy growing and positive 🤙🏻 Oh, and just curious, you paid $15K to that Dr in NY for prp/Acell snake oil injections...or did you mean $1,500?
  14. Fantastic result and excellent work! What kind of black magic sorcery do you utilize that the implanted grafts are so cleanly placed without any excess bulbous protruding graft tissues in the recipient area?! You wizard! 🙂
  15. I think your native hair just continued to succumb to further hair loss progression since you did have some native hair in the areas you state and the loss of hairs that grew from minoxidil use...in my opinion. As for whether you didn’t receive the quoted amount of grafts or if they a certain number only survived is a possibility, but to me looks like you continued balding.
  16. Hi, could you post an update how your 2nd Ht now looks 3-years later?
  17. They aren’t cloning any grafts at this point , that’s just their claim of doing so in the future if the technology becomes a realty, but , want funding and investment now as well as customer interest in banking their grafts cryogenically...at a pricey cost I bet. Yeah, would be great to get some details and info from the recommended doctors on here that are partnering with this firm.
  18. Have you asked your surgeon to see if they have an answer or explanation?
  19. I wouldn’t go with ARTAS either nor recommend it, not even the “new” 2.0 version. It has many hurdles to clear and probably another decade or more of refinement before it can compare to the skill and artistry of a human professional experienced surgeon, if that. I’m wagering that safe scalp to different scalp transfer of grafts is more of a reality in the near future than cloning or great robotic results.
