  1. Your hair quality and density looks great for your age, and donor area looks very good as well, if I were in your shoes I would give it a few more years to see if there would be any further frontal hair recession and then get an HT, but, getting one done now if it bothers you that much then it seems reasonable to do so, but be aware of shock loss you will possibly endure.
  2. Congrats man! Looks like a great result so far, you still have an additional 4-10 months more improvements if there will be any! Curious, What is your age?
  3. I would also add asking the Doctor, if the procedure looked to already be risky, was the full 4,500 grafts extracted and implanted in a single days session? And if it was, why so? Why add additional risk to the patient in doing so?
  4. Wow! Fantastic results, I bet your self-confidence has taken off like a rocket, Congrats!
  5. Work looks nicely done man! How did the Dr go about doing the extractions, was it manual tool or motorized? How were the grafts implanted, was it with implanter or with forceps? thanks
  6. If I were in your shoes man, I would first get my hair cut to a much shorter length and see how that suits me in the time being, because having thinning hair loss is much more obvious with longer hair than it is with shorter hair to be honest. And if you do not feel a shorter hair style suits you, then I would shave the rest off and see how that looks and makes me feel, many guys on here that have had HT’s have mentioned that they were afraid of getting their heads shaved for the procedure but when they did they actually thought that they looked good with it and could see themselves pulling off the shaved look. Your age is a bit young to undergo an HT procedure, but you do look as if you have had extensive hair loss at your age and donor area looks reasonably good, I would wait until maybe 25 then get some consultations with reputable doctors done.
  7. 1st photo of yours looks as if you have decent donor density. 2nd photo of yours looks as if you have had a FUE procedure prior with many gaps, unless it’s just the lighting.
  8. Very good result, congrats man! As for, front hairline denity, nothing that some good hair fibers couldn’t improve....or an HT touch up.
  9. 1. You should post some photos of your current state. 2. I almost willing to bet that you will not be able to book a procedure that will be done in 2-weeks without any official commitments to any of those clinics, unless they have already given you open booking dates that are 100% available.
  10. Good on you for being proactive and taking the steps man >How much density do you think is realistic? Realistically, you will not have good enough density if you decide to cover a wide area, since you do have extensive frontal-third thinning and loss, and have what looks to be fine hair. If I were you, I would not do a low straight hairline with full coverage attempt, I would concentrate on a hairline that would possibly suit you and your age better, one that looks like actor Jude Law’s latest “hairline” with higher temples but good density. >Thoughts on donor area quality? Hard to tell from your photos, but your donor area looks decent enough to possibly undergone a procedure. >Fin aside, how can I limit future loss? Take a Biotin supplement and wash hair with baby shampoo or an “organic” shampoo free of SLS and parabens. >If you were me, would you go for Hair Transplantation, how many grafts, what would you consider? Yes, since you have already lost a lot of hair and wouldn’t need to worry about much more lost hair if’s or when’s. I would do between 2,500-3,500 grafts. See, ‘Realistic’ answer, a Jude Law 2018 type hair coverage. Good Luck!
  11. No need for some to call someone “dumb” or suggest they have a “mental illness” when it seems like a case of overly concerned worry, that may or may not be misplaced, to me, it does seem misplaced, but every individual is free to do what they want but should be aware of consequences that still may not please them down the road.
  12. Dude, you have a great head of hair for your age, I’m my opinion, you should not do a HT now, wait until you are 35 and see how your hair loss has progressed, then if inclined, get an HT done, but with your hair and age I wouldn’t. If your concern is your hairline and temples and money is not an issue, then, Dr Diep is whom I would go to for hairline and temple work.
  13. Why are you taking both Avodart (Dut) and Propecia ( Fin)? Are you not concerned about potential long-term side effects now or in the future? Also, progress of the procedure looks like its coming along nicely for you.
  14. Have you asked of ASMED if they would discount you the cost of your travel to Istanbul for your consultation, now that you have agreed and booked the procedures?
  15. 3,000 to 4,000 graft could possibly give you decent coverage but most likely you would have to choose either for crown area coverage and much less dense frontal area, or just do the full frontal third area only, I would choose just the full frontal third area, I don’t care if some stares at my bald spot from behind, I rather a good frontal area since first impressions are always face to face, in my opinion.
  16. 1. You should grow out your hair, many clinics that ask that you submit your photos to them online may misjudge how thick or dense your donor area may be in realty from any photos you submit for evaluation, have someone else take clear proper photos in good lighting with the longer hair. 2. From your photos and in your case, the top ethical doctors/clinics in Turkey will very likely just recommend that you get on Finasteride ASAP for at least 6-months before any FUE procedure, to see if you take well to the medication, if it thickens or improves your donor region. 3. Dr Erdogan at ASMED is a top choice but the priciest at 2.5 euro per graft, although he does not do beard or body hair FUE. 4. Dr Keser is a top choice as well, not sure if he does FUE from beard or body. 5. HDC clinic is another well regarded clinic with favorable results. First the negative....your donor supply seems very limited due to your hair loss pattern, from looking at your photos. On the positive...if you do research properly and look for a reputable doctor whom does manual FUE and can harvest from your beard and body hair as well, then you could be an adequate candidate. Good luck!
  17. Thank you for your insight! I guess the short period of discomfort/pain, if there is any, comes with a long-term reward that makes it worth it. ?
  18. Thank you for your insight! I have seen your photos and thread and looks good, congrats! Keep the updates and photos coming! I absolutely hate needles and am a little concerned with the injections especially on a an already 1st day sore irritated swollen scalp undergoing more injections and surgery the 2nd next day. Did they provide any anti-anxiety medication prior to surgery and if so, did it help with lessening the stress/worry of the initial injection? Did you have any IV sedation at all or was it just local injection for both days? Thanks
  19. Thanks for your reply! Continued luck and please keep the updates coming!
  20. Looking good so far man, congrats! How painful was it to have the procedure continued on a 2nd day, with even more injections, extractions and implantations on your already sensitive scalp from the first days procedure? Thanks
  21. Hey man, congratulations on pulling the trigger and getting the procedure done, your results so-far look very good and very promising! Got a question for you....I have noticed that several people that require more grafts , say 4-5000 grafts, have to do the procedure in 2-days at ASMED, my question is: Do you think you could have done it and tolerated and handled the pain and discomfort with a 2nd procedure the following day/morning with more injections , extractions and grafts implanted given how sensitive your scalp was from undergoing the 1st days procedure? Thanks in advance for any helpful reply!
