  1. The easy part is over, now the hard part...waiting. 😉 👍
  2. For the amount of grafts implanted...it is a sub-par result.
  3. 1. Regarding this DHT mentioned...is this another version of the DHI method?.....if it is the DHI method just under this different clinic naming, I would suggest they not use “DHT” as it confuses since many researching HT with this clinic could confuse it with the shortened name of Dihydrotestosterone (DHT). 2. Yes, I did read that the patient was “prescribed” medication but that does not make it clear that the patient actually “took” the medication for said period, but , that’s just semantics, and that would be reasonable that the medication worked for him and helped his crown area. Regardless, it is a good result.
  4. Same question, How is it possible that this patient had good hair growth and coverage in his crown area at 6-months without any grafts being placed there when he had obvious thinning in the area?
  5. I’m a bit skeptical of this result....how did the crown area get such good coverage of hair growth (after photo) without any grafts placed there at all according to the level of thinning in his crown in the pre-op photos? Were any concealers used on his scalp to improve the look of results?
  6. Its not worth chancing it to damage the hair grafts, after all the time and cost. Why don’t you just get a haircut of your native hair to match that of the new ht hair and just use hair fibers to fill-in spotty areas?....it would be cheaper and safer.
  7. @Castillo there is no avoiding those, that is where the grafts are taken from, unless you want a big long linear scar from a fut that is much more obvious, and the most important thing is how the donor area looks weeks, months , years post operation....and his donor density looks great and full, but yes, I agree, a very good case. Also, he could get SMP done to cover the spots to blend in with his hair.
  8. His donor area looks great still....where are you seeing “many white spots” in his posted photos?
  9. My opinion as I probably stated before, give it the complete 18-months time to grow and mature fully before you do any touch-up with any Dr/clinic....the additional 10-months of more improvement could pleasantly surprise you. Im not a fan of minoxidil, I like things to heal and grow more organically, I wouldn’t start using it if I were you because you could get the minoxidil shed and that will give you even more worry and anxiety. Im a big fan of taking Biotin and MSM supplements tho....as well as a good strong protein diet. Edit: Additionally regarding the minoxidil, by not using it, it is useful then for when you go to a consultation with a doctor for they to see your full 18-month result with out any growth assistance from minoxidil so that they could gage just how much of a touch-up you will need.....then, after any touch-up you decide to do... going on minoxidil would be reasonable to me.
  10. Truly an outstanding, life changing result and outcome! Thank you for posting your ht journey, truly inspiring! looking forward to following your next ht. Whom ever said “money can’t by happiness” was lying! 😁
  11. From looking at the photos...my guesstimate would be 1,000 grafts in the frontal area and 2,500 grafts in the crown. Good work by the Doc.
  12. Wow! Looks fantastic! The lowering of the hairline with the added widows peak definitely suits your hair & head shape. could you post a photo of mid/crown area?...as well as photos in sunlight? Thanks.
  13. Definitely looks lacking in density, although, for good coverage you probably should have done 2,500-2,800 grafts.
  14. Looking at the video you posted, it doesn’t look “horrible”, lacking in density yes, transplanted hair growth on left side doesn’t look to be in the proper direction, I wouldn’t be happy...BUT....I wouldn’t be anxious either...you still have months of further improvement as you have obviously gained improvement over each month already. Even with the growth direction of the new hair on the left side since it often takes time for the grafts to produce hairs like your native ones and to lay or flow in the proper direction, it could happen in another shed & growth cycle...so...to me...for 8-months it looks okay...not great, but okay. i wonder, if in 10 months from now it has improved even more so for you, if you would be honest and admit that you panicked and complained too soon...I hope it does, and hope you do.
  15. Looks like all the scabs have come off on your 5-Day photos above....is that normal?....since many say they come off 10-12 days
  16. Looks very good man, for the amount of grafts you had done, density looks good but I do see your point about the left side towards the center, that area going by your photos doesn’t looks as strong as your right side but you still have up to 6 more months or more of possibly more improvement. thanks for updating!
  17. Hey man, your hair thus far looks good for your age, although, it looks as if the frontal hairline hairs are miniaturizing, and your mid and crown area seems to be thinning a lot. Since you’ve mentioned that you’ve been hired by a talent agency, that leads me to believe that your in the entertainment industry....so, if I were in your shoes and in a career where appearance seems to be important and of concern, I would definitely concentrate mainly on the frontal hairline/temples/temple triangle point and get that area taken care of in a first procedure, as well as having some grafts peppered throughout the mid-scalp area (should native hair there thin out in the future). First impression is always frontal impression and if you’re in the entertainment field they’res always tricks they can use to mostly easily cover bald spots but frontal hair loss not so much without it looking fake, then you could get the bald spot crown area covered in a future procedure down the road if any hair loss progresses, just my opinion, good luck!
  18. Hiya Spex, According to the OP, i read it as if LeftwithRope is concerned that his newly sprouted and grown 4.5 months transplanted hair is shedding after only a short time of growth, how common is it for newly grown transplanted hairs to go thru a shed after only a month or 2 or 3 since having sprouted in the first place?...is this normal?...and will a new transplanted hair once again sprout and grow? thanks.
