  1. What has the clinic commented in regards to your 12 month progress?
  2. This is for sure the most testing part of it all. You will have great results with konior though. When r u headed back to work? Any plans for if people ask about the transplant?
  3. Lots of doctors and clinics recommend waiting a year to see final results. Some even claim patients should wait roughly 18 months for full maturation and for the hairs to lose their “kink” and act like your native hair. Not sure if this answers your question totally.
  4. It’s hard to tell from the pic if there was additional loss or if there was indeed some shock loss. But my guess is the doctor didn’t blend the transplanted hair into the existing hairline. Once the strong donor grafts grew in front of your hairline, the gap became more evident. That’s just my opinion and I may be wrong. dr Harris was the one that invented the Harris punch system for fue which was quite popular from my understanding. I hope he and your doc can come to a resolution for you. This can be fixed though so don’t lose hope. Just needs another relatively small procedure to blend things in.
  5. This is a pretty dumb post. Racism? Come on. I’d say a big chunk of patients posting on this forum go to places like turkey for their transplant so claiming racism is a moot point. Eugenics does show some great promise and have good results from what I’ve seen. What I don’t like though is how there are like 20 fake accounts promoting them or how they push their patients to post reviews on this site. Secondly, their rep abinhay or whatever his name is writes the worst narratives for the cases he presents. We don’t care about any other info besides the number of grafts, Norwood, meds the patient is on, and statistics from surgery. Let the results speak for themselves.
  6. Great result doesnt he post here? He’s the guy that got treated for alopecia areata right?
  7. Good topic. It’s easy for us hair focused people to freak out when we see hairs in the sink/shower etc. I’m guilty of it. But take a look at ur gfs/sisters/wife’s comb and you’ll see that daily loss is normal.
  8. Sorry op! Your thread just got hijacked into oblivion
  9. How does it look wet out of the shower combed in each direction (not parted)? I think that should give a true representation of density issues. I’ve attached an example
  10. Great results but pretty sure this is one of those “patient” posted results where they register, post clinic supplied photos, and disappear into the sunset forever.
  11. Thanks for keeping us in the loop. From what I’ve seen/heard hattingen is a great clinic. That’s likely what riled up dr hasson since hattingen were the only ones able to compete with them back in the day when hnw were one of few clinics doing mega sessions. still very weird how there’s a policy of no posts being deleted yet dr hassons was....
  12. Totally understand as I felt the same. Try not to look at your hair for the first 4 months. You’re at the worst part right now where you’ve shed everything, your native hair is short, scalp is still red, etc (hence why they call it the ugly duckling stage). It’s one heck of a crappy ride but you went to a great doc so just remain patient.
  13. Usually the hair that gets “shocked” by the surgery goes into telogen and sheds (typically 2-4 weeks post op). If it does not shed, it should just continue growing. I’ve seen guys shed most of their hair and others (a tiny minority) keep half if not more and they continue to grow. At the end it shouldn’t impact final results. If the survival rate it high for the surgery by month 12-18 you should be enjoying great results.
  14. I agree with dr vories, 3500-4000 seems like overkill based on your pics. Maybe 2500 is more reasonable
  15. Looking great for 4 months. How long is ur hair in the current pic? Was this fut or fue?
  16. Looks really good cosmo. What length is the top and sides?
  17. Imo there is still some risk. Your final pattern or rate of hair loss likely isn’t fully obvious yet. I’ve been on fin since about 20-21 and I’m turning 34 soon. Over that time I’ve even added minox and other treatments but still have lost ground over the years. My advice if you decide to get surgery: 1. Plan to stay on treatments long term 2. Go to a reputable doctor that has your best long term interests in mind 3. Try to go a bit conservative (you can always add more down the line) 4. Plan to do more hair transplants down the line as hair loss is usually progressive if you’re nw3 or below id suggest finding good styling options and trying to wait out til at least mid 20s/late 20s. All my opinion of course
  18. Yeah their fue has been looking great. Apparently they sent their techs a few years back to train under erdogans. Dr Wong seems to attend many of the fue conferences worldwide so he seems to be trying to advance in the field. They started by using manual punches like asmed but have since moved on to the waw system as that’s what hasson explained to me during my consult. According to JTs new vid they are now also using implanters to place grafts into premade incisions
