5078 grafts FUE - 9/10th Jan 2020 - ASMED Dr. Koray Erdogan
CosmoKramer replied to KM90's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Hey Man, Just saw this thread of yours, looks normal and good thus far, good luck and looking forward to your progress updates. As for Biotin, you don’t really need a high mcg Biotin, I take one that’s 5,000mcg and that’s more than enough, I also use a Biotin shampoo but not sure it does much but works well. -
Fair enough man, and I totally understand your reasoning, seems like you’ve thought it out well. 👍🏻

Hi It does look like you are at the early stages of mpb but dude, at 20, don’t use steroids (I’m not against responsible use of gear & TRT If over 30-ish and 40+ and in a T off-balance, but you are in your prime and could be doing more harm to your hormonal balance than is worth it.

Anyone give me tips on Derma rolling ?
CosmoKramer replied to Coady's topic in Open Hair Loss Topics
Good info from @duchaine As for your Minox question...you have to use Minoxidil daily at least once a day for it to work especially in conjunction with microneedling if you want to see results, but wait at least a few hours after microneedling to apply it or 12-24 hours. -

Check out all the posts on my microneedling thread...the answers are there 🙂 -
I agree with your doctors adice. Get on the big 4 routine: Minox/Finasteide(try a low dose 0.25 or 0.5mg daily/Nizoral 1-2x a week and get a derma stamp or pen and start microneedling. Check out my thread on microneedling. https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/54717-microneedling-may-2019-progress/

Can pimples makes the graft dead and dislodged?
CosmoKramer replied to ISMO's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Looks totally normal, just some dried skin and sebum and the follicles...but roots/bulb is already secure. -
Hi If I’m being totally honest...I don’t think you needed another HT, I think for 24 your hair looks very good, I would have advised to wait a few more years to see if your hair loss progressed further. That said, your write-up, the work and hairline/temple design looks very good and clean and wish you the best of luck with healing and progress, looking forward to your updates! P.S. like a broken record...ive also advised others in the process of booking their HT to stay as long as possible to give the grafts the best chance and environment for survival, I stayed 2-weeks but even a week is worth it.

Good cautionary video @Melvin-Moderator, I’ve seen his case and just shows how scam marketing can lure people in, he didn’t do his research initially but I’m glad his repair worked out for him. P.S.....seems like there’s some marketing going on here for a similar mill clinic (MCAN) that’s being posted here you might want to keep an eye on.

Hi Yeah, it sucks having to deal with hair loss at such a young age, stick to Minox 5% for at least 6 months to see how you progress, you may also want to look into getting a derma roller/stamp or pen to use in conjunction as many are doing to gain better results than with just Minoxidil alone.
-
Interesting that you post this as lately, I, also have been shedding hair...around 50-70 hairs daily...some when I’ve shampooed my hair or some when I’ve applied Kirkland Minoxidil and I only apply Minoxidil once a day at night, the shed hairs are strong thick hairs I’ve noticed and they seem to be from my crown as it looks slightly thinner than a few months ago, I am also still doing a microneedling routine. I was concerned, but from what I’ve read, it’s likely just a seasonal or cyclical shed...if it was hair loss the hairs would be fine and thinner, from what I’ve read. Hang in there, and just wait it out, you should see new growth with a new cycle around 1-3 months, but if not then it may be something else that you may want to see a dermatologist. Edit: I just want to add, I’m not exactly sure if the hairs I’m shedding are my HT hairs just going through a new cycle or if they are native hairs also going through a new cycle, will just have to wait to see how it grows.

help to decide what surgeon and clinic
CosmoKramer replied to zak786's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Hi Since you say you are a high Norwood and you say your donor area is not the best...then I would recommend you check out Dr Jose Lorenzo as his videos on YouTube of high Norwood’s look remarkable. As for your lists, reasonable but I would definitely exclude MCAN as it’s a hair mill that donesnt do well with donor management from what I’ve seen, and not impressed by Dr Aygin either. If I had to only choose and go with anyone in the UK it would be Reddy. Good Luck. -
What areas are you going over? Crown, misdscalp, all?
-
🤣 I agree....I use 1mm every other day and 2-2.5mm length every 7-9 days.
-
There are people that are doing light microneedling/ derma rolling daily and are getting very good results (posting their progress on another hair loss site/forum)....I’m doing every other day (night time).
