  1. Yes, very early for you to start, good luck with your progress!
  2. The mg amount is not that important what’s important is if the version you are purchasing and taking is 85-90% standardized which is its potency and more important, it should say it on the label if not then look for one that does, but these usual come in 160mg softgels that you take (2) per day for a total 320mg a day.
  3. From what I’ve read about clinics that offer “painless” anesthesia...that it really isn’t painless and that after these initial shots they still need to use the usual anesthesia needles to get the job done, so if it’s a big extra cost it may not be worth it but if you have the cash to spare for it anyway then if it helps your anxiety it may help. I, personally despise needles and get much anxiety from them but it was tolerable to me as i felt the pain about 5 seconds with each injection then no issue during or after my procedure. Good luck.
  4. Thanks! I would say possibly 3-4 months after a HT should be safe to gently start microneedling but no more than once a week initially and with 0.5mm derma roller/stamp or pen.
  5. Not sure if cold showers help with circulation as cold water constricts blood flow but I do think it’s much better than hot water especially for scalp and I shampoo my scalp with cold water.
  6. From what I’ve read of this new treatment in the pipeline by Samumed...I’m not impressed...seems like a lot of hype by the firm to gain investment funds...but I hope they can create something more effective than what’s on the market, that’s safe of course. As for Hair Transplants, they’re not going away anytime soon, the only thing I can foresee truly curing Hair loss & Baldness is gene editing (CRISPR) but that may not be safe.
  7. Good points....I agree, blood flow & circulation is likely the key to keep hair, regrow dormant hair, and keep DHT at bay. The only things I don’t do on the list is scalp massage (may add this though), and caffeine on scalp (but drink lots of cold brew iced coffee daily).
  8. Looks great! Much better hair style/cut in these photos than your previous IMHO. 🙂😉
  9. Short update on microneedling progress on my temple triangles/peaks. I can definitely see new growth/re-growth and the new hairs are distinctly dark like my hair was years ago naturally. It takes time but great to see actual results. Photos 1 & 2 are from my right temple side. Photo 3 (last photo) is from my left temple side.
  10. Hey man Nice write-up and videos, it’s rare to see patient posted procedure & progress from this clinic as ive only see their occasional before n after videos on YT, but work on you looks good and clean though. 👍🏻 Good luck with your progress, looking forward to your updates.
  11. Not sure about that ‘fat layers’ theory.....I’m more inclined to believe it’s the theory that it’s scalp calcium fibrosis and that more of and less of oxygen & blood-flow to the follicles the more the follicles get smothered and suffocated and succumb to the miniaturization process. Some even posit that good scalp blood-flow (and nutrition/oxygen in the blood) can neutralize DHT but too much DHT may still be at it. My own personal observation....ever since my hair started thinning in my early 20’s I would always notice that the strands of shed hair I had always had this hard white/yellowish bulge attached to each follicle and I always wondered wtf was this and why, I now know it’s the hardened sebum but that got me thinking if DHT in the Sebum oil attacks the follicle then hardens killing off the blood supply and with each cycle after cycle until its nil. Recently though, since I’ve started microneedling, using Minoxidil and oil topicals I have not seen any shed follicle with this dried sebum. And...I’m inclined to believe receptor sensitivity and autoimmune issues play a big part.
  12. Good topic. Been interested in this too as I am just over 40, and just to improve overall strength & physical progress from the gym but am concerned about sides and sill researching.
  13. Testosterone replacement therapy, synthetic testosterone prescribed by doctor to bring up levels of low.
