  1. 3 million people die in the US every year to various causes...some natural some inflicted and the for profit media is mostly silent due to the amount of advertising money they make from corporations that have been and are complicit in causing many deaths (ie the opioid drug crisis has killed over 400, 000 people in the US). In one ominous breath they will say things to instill fear and make you want to panic then after in the next breath they will say but don’t....and they are continuously running on a constant loop showing the same sky-is-falling videos of the the hospital in Italy with a few elderly patients with tubes connected to machines and people in hazmat suits and the same footage of the Chinese scrub-downs and lockdowns....all this then translates into politcans creating more fear and panic by passing dystopian laws to shut down activities making the fear and paranoia more realistic in the minds of the scared....and now the news media is circulating a story of a “study” from China saying the virus can jump further from one person to another...not the claimed 6ft but now 15 feet...it’s crazy. The reality is...viruses come and go, our immune systems adapts, people with compromised immune systems due to other health conditions will die, elderly people die, overusing hand sanitizer and over sanitization only lets the human immune system more exposed to dangerous pathogens and unable to fight them...I can’t count the amount of times I’ve seen news stories on the dangers of too much sanitizer use... Would I recommend travel for work or vacation or any not emergency medical procedure at the moment, depends, if you’re under 65 and no underlying heath issues then I would....but if you have pre existing health issue and over the age of 60-65 then no, wait a few months.
  2. And I agree with some of what you say....but I don’t take everything as fact when the officials don’t even know for sure, they just recently said and admitted that some of the test might be inaccurate and possibly false positives...so does that mean that people weren’t infected and just possibly had other conditions that made them ill and were added to the statistic anyway?....or does it mean that that they can’t get the tests right?...and how do they know that you can get infected if you’re within 6-feet of someone? Unless they breathe/cough/sneeze on you or near you and you inhale their mist I’ve never read of germs leaping 2-3-4-5-6 feet off of one person and onto another...and like l said I’m a germaphobe. Also, this whole 14-day quarantine and lockdown...it makes no sense since the person(s) will go back to work/school/out in public and what if they come in contact with someone that has an actual cold or flu or just coughs from dust or has allergies...then it’s back to another 2-weeks of quarantine and so on and so forth...whom will not be in quarantine to grow and farm food or sell it or work jobs that are vital to infrastructure?...And buying into this panacea will lead to violence as now people’s uber high anxiety of someone near them coughing is triggering anger as it did on an airplane here in the US and on cruise ships in recent days...it’s ridiculous. We are not in the Middle Ages...but all this bullshit could bring us back to it if we let it. Edit: I also want to add...this virus is not a few weeks old...it’s been around since December, so more like 3 months, just to clarify.
  3. I could barely watch/listen to this for more than 5 minutes...the fear panacea was too strong and contagious... Almost 3 million people died in the United States alone from various causes...but where was the concerned panacea for that??.... Full stats for 2017 published 6/2019 https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/deaths.htm
  4. I read about this yesterday...the results were dismal at best, just shows the complexity of trying to take microscopic cells out of the body and try to mass reproduce them and have any survive and function as native ones.
  5. Firstly...Ebola is more deadly...coronavirus from what I’ve read is transmitted from close proximity to an infected person that coughs or sneezes right on you...as similar to catching a cold or flu from another (I’m not comparing the sysmptoms but the way it’s caught) keeping a distance form those that are sick from the cold/flu or coronavirus infected person and washing your hands works, even the CDC say so...forcing tens of millions of people to quarantine when the risk is very low seems counterproductive. You will see people succumbing to doing necessary things to gain food and necessities when their supply runs out, it could get much more dangerous that what the virus could do. Secondly, yes, the media makes massive profits from advertising and gaining fearful viewers....millions of people of all ages die every year from cancer/heart disease/flu/accidents/poisoned food-water-pharmaceutical drugs/hunger but it’s never as reported on as this or the other “outbreaks” have been...so excuse me for being skeptical. When I see the rich and powerful and politicians dropping dead from the coronavirus virus, then I’ll take it more seriously. Thirdy...I’m not a Trump supporter so that’s not the case. There are 7.34 billion people on this earth...90,000 possibly infected is not “spreading like wildfire” in my opinion. Fear is the thing spreading like wildfire.
  6. The Ebola virus was upppsed to kill us all...as was the bird flu...as was SARS...as was Zika virus...as was West Nile...and many more...the media infected the masses with fear and paranoia for ratings...while I always keep my eye and ears open and am cautious I remain skeptical and calm...just as I did for all those other “outbreaks” If the Italian officials want to keep people locked in fear and let their economy collapse and than that is their choice, we are not in the Middle Ages...keeping things clean and sanitary is not that difficult nor expensive and out of reach. The collapse of the airline/travel industry, tourism, restaurant, grocery store, sporting events, concerts, museums, employment due to overblown panache is far scarier to me.
  7. Why a forum?...go to a doctor and get your blood work and thyroid checked.
  8. I don’t want to trivialize it...but people and the media are blowing this virus out of proportion...as they do every few years with other viruses...if you are under the age of 60 years, have no underlying health conditions and are relatively healthy eat a healthy immune boosting diet drink plenty of water, and wash your hands often...all will be fine. The amount of people that have recovered from the virus is almost half of the infections rate and growing...but the media is not reporting that now are they... I have not stopped going to work, public places and even still hitting the gym almost daily and living in NYC I’m not afraid of taking mass transit....and I am a germaphobe...I probably wash my hands dozens of times a day. Fear, panic and paranoia is much more crippling than any virus could ever be.
  9. Looks great...especially since longer hair usually shows more scalp but you had that resolved with 3 ht’s. 👍🏻
  10. Nice! @Melvin-Moderator...your hair in the photos in the vid looks slightly “healthier”...and yeah, a bit early to see actual visible density results, in fact, like I mentioned, you may start to see some shedding of any of your native hairs that are weak or in the process of miniaturization, which is a good sign that newer better hairs will grow. PS. I recently said on my thread that in months Dec 2019 til mid February I was shedding about 70-100 hairs per day with each hair shampoo and felt my crown look thinner....but over the past 2-weeks I felt new stubble in my crown and new hairs filling in, so I think the microneedling gains were just going the normal hair cycle route and already looking / feeling better. Looking forward to your next update!
  11. That’s great man! Would be great to see photos with a bit of distance to see how it looks but from what you’ve posted it looks like it was a success for you, congrats!
  12. My own personal experience...I was pretty well healed by day 3-4 post my HT and did some careful and cautious sightseeing in Istanbul and brought a long a loose fitting baseball hat that I wore loosely when out and about day 6 and on. The thing the be really careful of is when using taxis or care services and not to accidentally bump your head anywhere or rush to get in and out of vehicles.
  13. You look to have similar hair color and style to him...that’s why I ask.
  14. I think it’s the same guy yeah, surfer dude looking guy...i watched his progress videos when I started considering an HT myself ha!
  15. I do this as well before I do a microneedling session.
  16. Maybe post photos of the sides as well to get a proper opinion.
  17. Are you the guy on YouTube that chronicled his HT’s over the past several years?
  18. Hair is still looking great @Lennney and looks to have blended nicely with your native hair, which is what makes everything fall into place. 👍🏻
  19. What a fantastic life-changing result buddy, happy for you and congrats! Can’t believe it’s been 12 months for you, seems like yesterday you started this thread, crazy how time flys!
  20. Great! Hopefully the wiki link can help answer questions for those interested. Oh cool, yeah a video on this by you is a great idea, and yes, I give you my permission to use some of my photos in your YT video, thanks for asking first. 👍🏻
  21. I stopped Finasteride 1 month after my procedure, and had not used Minoxidil at least a year prior to my procedure and only recently started using it again about 9 months now, and ht hair grew fine although if you have lots of native hairs to maintain in the recipient area then you may need to maintain some kind of support routine.
  22. Nice results and yes, the crown can take much more time...I saw better maturing even up until now as I’m am almost 21 months post my HT procedure with ASMED and am also doing a Minox and microneedling routine that’s also improved my crown.
  23. Great answer from @Dr. Glenn Charles. 👍🏻 Also, I have not seen any derma roller or stamps or pens that are more than 2.5mm so you likely won’t find 5mm but that’s not the proper depth, 1-1.5mm is more the typical depth used.
  24. I agree with the opinions of the fellas above. IMHO These are the steps you and everyone should take: 1: Yes, shave your head really short or to a buzz cut and see how you like it...you may surprise yourself and like the look a lot. There is a great YouTube channel called Bald cafe and the guy seems to be helping lots of suffering guys deal with this. 2: If after a buzz cut you don’t like it or hate the look, then get on the big 4 (Low dose Finasteride, Minox, Microneedling And Nizoral and stay consistent with it for at least 6-9 months...growing your hair back takes time be patient. 3: If your hair loss has stabilized, look for a reputable Hair transplant doctor and do an in person consultation so they may asses your hair if it’s viable for you to do and HT procedure. 4: Don’t rush a procedure...do steps 1 & 2 first. Good luck!
  25. Update on my temple peak/corners/triangles So since my last update wth photos 2 weeks ago I’ve gotten a haircut and took some clear bright close up photos of the hair growth/regrowth progress on my temple corners that had receded years ago...and as it’s much easier to see visible progress than in other areas (I microneedle my whole scalp). In the photos you’ll see my microneedling progress results getting better as the new hairs are starting to better mature grow darken and get longer, with my hair cut on my sides almost down to a No 1 I can see a very distinct separation from my native grey/white hairs and the new dark growing hairs where there were none a year ago, the progress is better on my right temple peak than my left not sure why but I’m right handed so maybe I’m pressing more firmly on my right with the derma pen. Also, don’t mind the Minoxidil flaking in the photos it’s annoying but progress is progress. Also, do occasionally stamp microneedle even my donor here and there to see if it helps bring back my native hair color or create new dark hairs there as well. First 2 photos are my Right temple peaks. Last photo is of my Left temple peak.
