  1. Fantastic results for 9 months!...Donor looks like nothing was removed and looks like you keep it the perfect length. 👌🏻
  2. Looking great for 15 months! I agree with @JayLDD‘a above comment....they did a great job on your temple peaks, look very natural and have blended in well, work in that area is very tricky and even temple peak work I’ve seen from other top docs like Diep in his YouTube videos it doesn’t look this good...and of course the hairline looks natural as well.
  3. Progress update: The Bad news...having stopped using Minoxidil foam completely my crown does seem slightly thinner than a months or two ago, as I’ve had a shed of 30-40 hairs/day the past week. I tried the home brew topical Zix that I mixed and it worked very well at stopping the shedding and possibly inhibiting 5-AR & DHT in my scalp but after 3-4 weeks of using it I had to stop because it’s yellow-ish color stains and satained my scalp and having salt and pepper hair it stained the grey hairs yellowish too. The Good News...I still have a good amount of coverage in my crown from new hairs likely created and growing due to the microneedling itself and not the Minoxidil, I feel. I’ve started using castor oil mixed with coconut/peppermint this past week and feel it’s helping with hair thickening so I will be continuing with that. Since ive dropped Minoxidil & Zix...I’ve decided to make my Finasteride topical, apply it directly after microneedling session (as I did last night) and daily, wait an hour or so for it to be absorbed into the scalp then apply the castor oil mix before bed, hence, inhibiting scalp DHT and Increasing the good hair-growing Prostaglandin PGE2.
  4. I’ve heard of it but don’t think I every bought that brand. These type of hair serums on amazon remind me of when the bodybuilding suppliment companies got in trouble and raided by the Feds for including anabolic steroid ingredients in their OTC supplement “stacks”, I’m just curious how AA can be included in these serums legally or if the companies are just flat out lying it’s inclusion in the procduct to make more $$$.
  5. I just checked out the product you mentioned but the seller/manufacturer doesn’t list the percentage of AA and it’s listed as the 4th ingredient and normally the first 3 ingredients in any item is usually the bulk of the product from what I’ve researched...plus, Azelaic acid is and has been a Prescription-needed medication so I don’t know how this company and others that sell products they claim to contain AA on amazon can do so legally as the FDA would be all over their ass...as I used to purchase a 15% Minoxidil + Azelaic acid solution over a decade ago and the manufacturers got into deep shit with the Gov and had to shut down and Amazon removed the products, from their high Minox dosage and illegally selling a prescription-required ingredient. So these products seem sketchy to me to be honest. Say all that...I think AA should be sold OTC.
  6. I’m a fan of azealic acid for hair growth....but i found it difficult to acquire without a prescription. How do you get your AA @Melvin-Moderator?
  7. I’ve used emu oil for years...for cuts/burns and also every night a month after my HT, I sorta swear by its healing abilities as I’ve seen proof on myself...I’m not sure about combining emu and pumpkin seed oils into Minoxidil is a good way to go about it, now, if one gets some Minoxidil pill or powder and mixes it with Emu & punpkin seed oil into an ethanol solution than I think that would be a better topical....cut out the already greasy propylene glycol in Minoxidil liquid.
  8. Get a derma roller or stamp or pen and use it at least 1x a week in conjunction with Minoxidil and in a few months you should see some good progress in your crown, would be my recommendation.
  9. Good for you man! 👍🏻 Curious to know....what do your buddies think of your new appearance, hair & nose?...were they supportive? Also, was the rhinoplasty procedure done under local or general anesthesia?...and do you mind saying how much of a ballpark price it set you back?
  10. Yeah, I’m planning to make a 0.30-0.50% topical mix in a month or two since I’ll likely use more than 1mL each application.
  11. Interesting study...I do like the end point they state that switching to topical Finasteride could help keep the progress gained from having used oral Finasteride and then stopping its use but continuing with topical.
  12. Thanks for the info. 👍🏻 Yeah, I’m aware that Rosemary essential oil is also reportedly good for hair growth and may incorporate that into the mix as well. As for the Minox dandruff flakes, I do think Castor oil drops in a shampoo would help ease them as I’ve noticed my hair feels and looks healthier and not as frizzy and dried out since having started using castor oil, but I also wasn’t fond of other Minox side effects like forehead wrinkles, dark circles around eyes, occasionally a head ache so I’d like to not have to rely on it but I’m glad I tested in combination with microneedling as it did produce very good results, but for now I’d like to test the natural routine to see if the progress and gains are similar or hopefully better.
  13. It definitely looks like it’s thickening up more but yeah, another 400-500 grafts on each side and you’d be all set.
  14. I don’t think the change in the photos you posted above make you look less masculine....I think the nose work just makes you look slightly younger by shaving off a few years....and it looks like your HT hair has improved as well, in my honest opinion.
  15. I agree with your last statement, and any surgery for that matter...always important to get a 2nd or even a 3rd professional opinion before any procedure.
  16. I waited 2 full weeks before hitting heavy weighs at the gym, I would be cautious about doing so at 7-days post op. No clue on the 420....but if your profile name suggests, if your doc/clinic is in Denver why would you feel uncomfortable asking them if it was okay?
  17. I understand what you’re saying and where your coming from....and I may or may not agree...and you may be right and you may very well be wrong,...but.... unless you’re a psychologist whom specializes in body dysmorphia issues and have fully analyzed and diagnosed OP’s state of mind then I don’t think it’s fair to assume.
  18. @Melvin-Moderator already did a post on this months ago. I believe it was mentioned Trumpy had a scalp reduction and flap surgery, and I saw a photo of his father whom looked like he had done the same thing.
  19. That’s all well and good, but how we see ourselves and how happy we are with our appearance is an individual and subjective issue. I wasn’t happy with my teeth for many years....so I went back to Istanbul to get them fixed after doing my research, I’m glad I did, I’m happier now.
  20. I’m not one for extreme facial modification...but I saw lots of men & women in my 2 trips to Turkey that had facial work done other than hair transplants...and close to a dozen who’d done rhinoplasty there from what I recall...and living in NYC it’s not uncommon to see surgery patients down 5th Avenue, so, and in Derek’s case here, I think his nose now does look better now, albeit in profile view so would be good to see a frontal face view for comparison also, that said, it looks to me to now be in proportion to his chin/brow/top of the head, a nose that hangs out a bit farther out than ones chin is not proportionate in my opinion. As for the lip fillers stuff, not a fan, but it’s an individual thing and everyone can do as they wish even if others disagree.
