  1. How will they know who you are? You’re not supplying any name or pictures. It’s 2019, people ask questions and double/triple check. It’s human nature. That’s what these forums are for and doctors understand that- hence why they pay to be apart of them. I’m just curious who else performs dhi in Turkey besides cinik, u can send a PM if you’re not comfortable naming them publicly
  2. Didn’t dr col e train bisanga in fue? Makes the op’s question kinda moot if so.
  3. Yup, normal to lose most of the newly transplanted hair. Why are u using nugenix? Did u run that by dr Cooley beforehand?
  4. Very natural end result. Dr Path what is the reason temple points are built above the original hairs in that area? I’ve seen many doctors do the same and I always wonder why.
  5. Personally, I feel there’s a lot of marketing that clinics do to try and bring in more customers. As long as the end result is good, survival numbers are high, and donor is not compromised, it shouldn’t matter. I don’t think there’s much difference. I’ve seen excellent results from clinics using manual punches as well as motorized. I’ve seen excellent results from clinics using implanters/pens as well a traditional pre made incisions. Same can be said for stick and place as well as mega sessions where grafts are extracted in one step and implanted after. I think what matters most is going to an ethical surgeon who will be realistic with expectations and who also has surgical and artistic skill. Their surgical team as a whole must have talent as the doctor is only a part of the entire process.
  6. What a great change. Only 1700 grafts and a huge cosmetic improvement
  7. Dr Vories did you train with dr Lorenzo? What type of device do you use for extraction? What size punch was used for this patient?
  8. OP, hattingen is a great clinic from what I’ve seen/heard and the husband and wife doctors running the clinic can possibly help you with a path forward. Whether it be a lower dose or a visit to an endocrinologist they work closely with. I wouldn’t give up hope yet. Good luck and let us how things go
  9. What will the derm pathologist tell him? I don’t see him complaining about scalp or skin issues.
  10. Hasson and Wong might still be prescribing a topical finasteride gel that is apparently effective with less side effects. I’d ask them about it if u want to try and experiment with that
  11. Thanks for sharing. Is this considered 50% growth or is this patient an outlier that matured/sprouted soon before the average timeline?
  12. According to the skin cancer foundation, front windows on a car block UVA and UVB rays. Side windows block UVB (which burns skin) but doesnt block UVA which is known for aging skin and damaging the deeper layers. I dont have first hand knowledge on this but just posting what I read.
  13. Hi Pete So did you have essentially no growth/sprouts up until month 8? Happen to have any pics you could share? Thanks!
  14. Looks great but what other treatments are you on and did u start them around the same time?
  15. Great topic. I think another issue at hand is there are hardly any doctors actively participating in the forum with members. If you look at a few years back doctors would frequently come on and help answer a few questions and this rarely happens anymore.
  16. I think you need to narrow down which type of procedure you want first before you start deciding on a list of clinics. Obviously there are FUE only clinics like asmed but the important thing is you want to choose a clinic/doctor that excels at the type of procedure you want. I think asmed has the potential to give great results through FUE but obviously there are many more clinics that are as good and in some cases better (all my opinion of course). H&W in my opinion are at the forefront in terms of FUT but there are also a few others out there like hattingen that can keep up with the best. Seems like youre at a fork in the road in terms of which procedure to go with and this is understandable as youve made some good points. Consult with as many docs as possible. In person consults are the best. Ask as many questions as you can so you feel comfortable. You touched on a very good point which is donor management. I think this is a key part of the equation when pursuing a transplant at a relatively young age and you want to choose a physician that takes very good considerations for donor management. Good luck
  17. Do u suffer from any scalp itching or inflammation? How about any flaking?
