Top 3 Lies In The Hair Transplant Industry

Clinics claiming that fue is a “scarless” procedure -
Look up the finasteride 10 year study by Rossi et al. It is very promising. Even though it has roughly 100 participants the findings showed roughly 90% of users maintained or regrew hair over the 10 year period.

5,000 FUE * Mid-June 2018 * Progress
LonelyGraft replied to CosmoKramer's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Looks really good bro! Consider this too....your left side also has the natural light from the window shining on it too which should make it look much worse but it isn’t! I wouldnt worry about having a few doubles in the hairline one bit. Hair transplantation is not about creating perfection, but rather improving your overall appearance (at least this is my idea). And in your case that is exactly what it did! 👍🏻 -

New AI Robot ready to replace Ht docs??
LonelyGraft replied to VicTNYC's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
From what I heard, many of the doctors recommended on this site that purchased artas initially (H&W, Rahal, Mohebi) no longer use it. I think that should tell you something. Please, to any newbie reading this if you are considering artas, please reconsider. Also, I dont think many people know this but the device was FDA cleared for only black or brown hair that is straight. -

Thanks for updating up cosmo. Your hair continues to look better and better bro. Hope it continues! -
I’m sorry to hear that bro. I remember your username from a few of the forums. I guess that could be a possibility but I would worry the nearby hairs being harmed. However I don’t know much about laser hair removal. Have u ever considered going to a clinic that specializes in repairs? I’ve seen a few results on this forum recently that have been great. I hope you get this all sorted out

Melvin- how long did u use minoxidil before u had surgery? I used it for more than a decade and dr hasson told me he would have to implant on me at a lower density and stagger the surgery over two sessions. His reasoning was that people who use minoxidil for long periods of time have less collagen production due to the minox. This results in scalp skin that is weak and thin and will collapse when incisions are placed too closely together. Super confused about this

Shedding around this time is perfectly normal. Please keep updating this thread. I think this will be a home run

One man's journey to a full head of hair with Dr Konior

Wow, big changes already coming. Did konior say the uneven sides would catch up with one another eventually? Im experiencing the same and I'm almost at 5 months too. -
Unshaven FUT with Dr Gabel (1221 Grafts)

this is going to look amazing. who was your first surgeon? rahal? -
Tom id definitely research more into doctors locally and overseas. Try not to jump into anything too soon and take your time. And FYI, Bosley doesn’t exactly have the best track record. First decide what method you’d like to do (fut or fue). I wouldn’t get too caught up in the exact methods like dhi for fue. If you choose a good doctor/clinic, you are maximizing your chances of success. Once you choose the method you want, then you can narrow it down to specific doctors that specialize in the method you want done. also, I’d seriously consider shaving your head for the surgery as it simplifies the task at hand for the surgeon (at least from my understanding). It does suck because your loss is highlighted with a shaved head but it’s only temporary. so read up as much as you can and ask as many questions as you can both here and to doctors you are considering. good luck

Bro, come on...I will call it like I see it and I’m with Melvin on this one. I don’t know if you’ve had a procedure but it’s nerve wracking especially the days following it. There’s no need for snide comments that can cause more anxiousness or doubt. Let’s respect op and the fact that he’s come to share his story with us.

Yeah they overcharge by a lot. Their 60 gummies are only a one month supply (two per day is required for the 5000mcg dose of biotin). Piece of crap company

2500 Grafts FUE - 18th December 2018 - Asmed Dr Erdogan
LonelyGraft replied to DEB1982's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Wow that’s great news. U had absolutely no shock loss? -
Horrible company from my experience. I asked them a single question regarding their shampoo and they bounced me from person to person. Weeks later after I continued to ping them they made me setup an account to ask one of their doctors who again never got back to me. Months and months have gone by now with no response. I would not trust a company with customer service like this.
