I am considering starting dutasteride twice a week or so. This is after seeing some donor hair grafts which has a single miniaturised follicle in a triple graft during recent surgery. does anyone have any experience on this ?

Hi Im a 19 year old (I posted before) and Im going to start taking propecia next week. I want to ask will it halt my beard development? Are side effects common? Are there reverseble? And Is propecia enough? Or should I add anything else? And what is your propecia experience? Did you had any side effects? How long have you been using it? And Is there anyone here that started at my age? (I added this tags to that people my age can see it and learn)

I was planing to take propecia a month ago but life happened and I didn’t had any time to buy propecia. But today I bought them. The reason Im writing this is to show my plan to adapt my body to the meds. (Im open to changing if it’s not a good plan) So here is my plan: First and Second month: 0.25 every 3 days Third and Fourth month: 0.50 every 3 days Fifth and Sixth month: 0.50 every day Seventh month and forward: 1 mg every day I know that the drug will lose it’s affect after years of use and Im okay with getting a transplant when needed. I will also look after

Many of you seasoned veterans may already know what the "big 3" refers to for hair loss treatments, but some hair loss sufferers may not know what the "big3" actually means. The "big 3" refers to Finasteride, Minoxidil and Nizoral used in conjunction, which is the best hair loss treatments on the market today. Hi Friend, appreciate you take the time to read. late 30 here. NWIII, thinning in frontal hair line, no active excessive shedding. A recent microscopic evaluation during a consult reveals an 80% miniaturization in frontal hair line (nor surprising) and 30% in top. 20% is the average. The doctor recommended Propecia that will maintain my hair and even thicken the existing one and also will minimize shock loss if I decided to proceed with the transplant. He said at least for 6 months after HT. I know that Propecia is the best but I also heard many side effects about Propecia. I want

Hi, I am 30 years old. Have lost the frontal hairline and it is going back day by day. Pretty much like this but mine is worse The above thread prompted me to post my doubts here. So, I visited few of the surgeons from this list https://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/Consult-a-Physician/surgeon-list/IND/India Darling Buds and Medispa and many other renowned surgeons who are not on the list but people have achieved great results from them. Everyone suggested me around 2500-3000 grafts. All of them were doing the transplant using FUE technique and gave one PRP session along w

I'm sure most of you heard by now that Merck may have been caught redacting their initial label, but did you guys know that a federal judge had caught them lying about their patent trials. I don't know guys, I'm starting to think that Merck has known that Propecia can cause persistent side effects since the beginning. Thoughts?? Merck Makers of Propecia Caught Lying For The Second Time

This question comes up time and time again, so many hair loss supplements tout saw palmetto as "natures" Propecia. Unfortunately, anytime you hear "natures____" it's usually bogus. What are your guys experience with saw palmetto? I took it for a few months and didn't see any benefit at all.Is Saw Palmetto As Effective As Propecia For Hair Loss

I have heard so many stories about how some guys started losing so much hair after switching to generic finasteride. However, the brand name and the generic should contain the same amount of the active ingredient, the only difference are inactive ingredients binding the tablet. What do you guys think have any of you noticed a difference? Is There A Difference Between Generic Finasteride And Propecia

This question has been circulating and well the biggest difference is that one is FDA approved for hair loss and the other one isn't, but some users swear by it. According to the studies I have read it seems like the difference in terms of hair growth and density is nominal with Dutasteride being slightly higher. However, the side effects are also slightly higher, in the end I think most men do just fine with Finasteride. I encourage everyone to take sometime out of their day to have a read and share with others. What's the difference between Avodart and Propecia?

Hey Guys, This can be a bit of a controversial topic, but I get so many questions as to why I stopped using Propecia and whether it is safe to use, well the fact is that yes for the majority of men it is safe to use, but that doesn't mean that it is side effect free. At the end of the day, it is a personal choice whether to use Propecia, just like it's a personal choice to have surgery. What do you guys think? Is Propecia Safe To Use?

Hello. I have been using propecia for 23 months and foligain liquid minoxidil 5% once a day at night for 6 months and it has stopped my hair loss and given me great regrowth as well. i'm strongly considering adding the foligain foam minoxidil 5% within my morning rutine so that i get the recommended doses of 2 times a day, foam in the morning and liquid at night. so my questions are. can i safely use both the foam and liquid alongside side each other? do i have to worry about potential shedding when adding the foam to my daily rutine? any help will be greatly appreciated, th

This 29-year-old patient had prior FUE sessions in the frontal region and midscalp areas of his crown. The FUE procedures included beard FUE grafts into his midscalp. He desired more hair in his crown, but his donor reserve was limited and - in his 20s - he was almost certain to have more thinning in his donor region. This patient received 2 PRP sessions as well as the daily use of the topical hair growth blend (HGB) provided by Dr. Wesley. The images depict the patient before and about one year after initiating this non-surgical therapy.

What's up.. I've been taking proepcia since I was 17 years old along with Rogaine and Regenpure.. that's been my regimen. I'm 22 now.. I took this propecia pill for 5 years 1mg a day everyday.. since I was 17 with little to no side effects besides no morning erections and watery semen.. I turned 22 oct 2nd of 2016.. as the months went on I felt like my penis wasn't working like it should.. my erections seemed much weaker.. I stopped being hard during sex twice with my girlfriend.. stimulation couldn't even bring it back up.. it was a disaster.. there were just times I could feel literally

I started taking finasteride at the beginning of the year. Before I did, I got a baseline test of many of my different hormone levels (everything was in the normal range). I initially took 1mg and noted fairly immediate sexual side effects. I then lowered it, and stared taking 1/4 of a pill every other day (so basically, 0.125mg). I noticed some occasional sides, but nothing too dramatic. After 3 months, I got my DHT level checked and started taking 1/4 pill every day (0.25mg) and noticed some increased side effects. I just got my test results back, my DHT level went from 63 ng/dL before f

Hi guys, Have been lurking on these forums for a while, finally making it official and joining. Posting this here and another couple of the forums because I haven't seen much about it yet, but have any of you read about, used, or found suppliers for topical finasteride? I've had the side effects many of you have and stressed about continuing to use it orally but I found some studies that show the topical looks very promising and could be effective without the side effects. Any thoughts or recommendations?

Hey y'all, I've been at a crossroads with my hair loss for a while now since a teenager. I'd love your guys opinion. I'm 22 years old Dealt with hair loss since I was about 17 Been on Finasteride and Rogaine since 17 For the most part finasteride and rogaine have been very good to me, I've never had super thick hair and it's never been super thin either. Since I was diagnosed with male pattern baldness it's been in the middle with the help of these products. I would say it's been great for my confidence to have hair, than be bald so it helped me alot. I turned 22 oct 2nd of this year
