  1. Looks quite good but do u have any pics that are taken with something better than a .0000001 megapixel camera?
  2. Considering that you also have styling product in your hair (correct me if I’m wrong), I wouldn’t pursue a ht at this time. If you get one to fill in that area it will likely make little cosmetic impact to your overall look. Just my opinion
  3. If you’re comparing it to your donor then yes the density will appear thinner. However, that’s just how hair transplants are. You just cannot achieve native density with a transplant, it’s near impossible. I’m sure you’ve heard it numerous times but hts are an “illusion.” If you implant 50% or higher density (compared to your native) then it should appear as a full head of hair to most. Of course you’ll need to keep it at certain lengths, styles, using certain styling products, etc. I see nothing out of the ordinary with your transplant but I’m no expert. who was your doc?
  4. Bro it’s obvious the op is ignoring you. You’re kind of aggressively taking over his thread too. Email the clinic for your questions regarding the “bloody blood” and everything else. He’s just a patient, not a coordinator.
  5. So it’s safe to say you didn’t feel like a “celebrity” correct? That statement regarding the graft insertion is quite eye opening.
  6. Could you kindly elaborate more on the involvement of the doctors/techs at the Greek location vs the Belgian location? Very curious
  7. Uhh are you guys being monitored by a doctor or cardiologist while taking oral minox? You do realize this is a blood pressure med right....
  8. Yes, hairs first emerge thin. Look at this post by by dr bloxham. At 5 months 50% of hairs have sprouted and are only 30% mature on average. Did your clinic not explain this to u?
  9. Imo...bc men in the west are forced to compete more and more on looks. Social media, reality tv, women “advocates,” etc are transforming the culture and women’s expectations are rising. Why do you think the fitness industry is booming in the west the last 5-10 years? Same reason I believe.
  10. @Melvin-Moderator I know the left pic in the thumbnail is that guy the forum helped get a repair for. Who is the $7 graft guy on the right?
  11. Dr Bloxham which specific immune related scalp issues could cause something like this? Lichen planopilaris? More common diseases such as psoriasis or seb derm wouldn’t have this kind of effect, correct?
  12. I def see thickening going on and the hair taking a more natural texture. Nice improvement
  13. Looking great @superflash! Thanks for keeping us updated. When r u getting prp? Have you thought about the second procedure?
  14. 1. Honestly I don’t know much about 10% minoxidil as the fda has only ever approved 5% here and anything higher needs an rx here. I would ask your doctor or whoever prescribed u the 10%. Sorry wish I could be more helpful 2. Def follow up with your surgeon again as any type of folliculitis needs to be treated 3. Honestly you are currently on the best treatments medically. Finasteride and minoxidil are the gold standard. There aren’t really any other lotions or topicals worth using (would you want to add more hassle to your lifelong regimen; I assume not since you got a transplant). Make sure to eat well, sleep well, take care of yourself emotionally, and get some exercise. If you want, you can also add in some vitamins that can potentially help your hair healthier and grow faster (they don’t stop hair loss however). These include biotin, msm, silica, etc. No standard dosages so just read up about them. However, many report acne increase with biotin so be careful. good luck
  15. Nice. Do you know how many grafts were placed in each temple point/triangle?
  16. Hello 1. Using 5% minoxidil once a day is almost as effective as twice a day treatment according to Dr Bernstein as topical minoxidil has a 22 hour half life. 2. If you are getting pimples on your scalp I would avoid applying any type of oil on it as that can’t be good. Can you imagine someone with acne/whiteheads applying oil on their face? Just seems like a bad idea to help bacteria grow. I assume you’re indian as many of my Indian friends love using oil/coconut oil on their hair and claim it does everything from stopping hair loss to curing dandruff. 3. Have you tried a salicylic acid shampoo such as tsal? Salicylic acid has been proven to help with acne. 4. Did you have a hair transplant? I’ve heard it’s somewhat common get folliculitis after surgery for some people. 5. I’d follow up with your doctor again to let them know the cream didn’t work.
  17. You had seven procedures? Are you going to make a thread with your story ?
  18. well...if the patient wanted a density of about 10 grafts/cm2 then yes, the plastic surgen would be correct. Thats pretty absurd if true. Im very curious to see the post op for this patient. Whats the maximum number of grafts you do over consecutive days?
  19. Haven’t heard much about them lately. I remember maybe 10 years back they were the talk of the town on various forums.
