    I think is message is anyone is capable of hitting a homerun once in a while. I’ll repeat what I said before but personally I would check with a dermatologist specializing in hair loss to see if there is any condition that could be affecting your growth. Maybe a biopsy is in order? Check with asmed on this too.

    Considering many doctors advise patients to take ibuprofen post op to help with pain/swelling, I would doubt it. Were you taking very high doses? What for?

    This is pretty disheartening to hear. However, isn’t the fda involved in all of these clinical trials as well? Including the follow up trials and any reports of patients once the drug is released?

    Ugly duckling sucks massive dick especially if you are transplanting into areas that are bare. Once you shed there remains the lingering redness, shock loss, inability to hide/combover areas, etc. For sure it’s the biggest mindfuck part of a transplant.

    I assume erdogan used some type of data he possibly gathered over time to come up with that claim. I know he used other types of data to come up with the coverage value calculator that some other docs use like you mention. (I believe he/his team developed the coverage value tool). Personally I dont buy much into the 10-15% claim and I think that its a very generous number. This is based solely on observing my dads donor area. At 72, and a NW3V, his donor has thinned out at least 30%. But genetics could be at play here and everyone is different.

    I’d probably let it grow and comb it in the direction that hides it most (likely forward). The hair has not had much time to mature in 3.5 months so it may look thin when cut short. Also a lot of the grafts haven’t even sprouted at 3.5 months on average.
