  1. Just wondering if the clinic was using NeoGraft equipment. Some doctors suspect this equipment may dry out the follicles prior to implantation. Not sure, but just a possibility.
  2. So hard to cover that crown area. Looking good. Keep us posted!
  3. Looks like you have some good options as mentioned in the comments. I looked similar to you and had over 7,000 grafts, all FUE. I had no interest in the linear FUT scar although I'm sure the process has improved regarding scar visibility. I've never taken any meds for hair loss. Best of luck to you!
  4. Honestly, I never experienced any discernible shock loss. It doesn't happen to everyone but if it does, its perfectly normal and will grow back.
  5. Hang in there. Hope you're back to normal soon. Keep us posted.
  6. Just be patient and don't obsess and look for daily changes. You will be most pleased in about 3-4 months. Hang in there and trust nature and the healing process.
  7. You can consult your doctor but 2 weeks out shouldn't be an issue. Start slow the first couple trips and build up to your previous routine. Just a thought.
  8. I agree with the others. Sleep at an angle. This typically keeps pressure off your donor area in the back if that was used by your physician. Chin low, forehead higher.
  9. Three weeks out...you should be fine using your own shampoo. You will also notice pimples popping up occasionally. This is expected and try not to "mess" with them. Just let them take care of themselves unless you get a difficult one that occasionally could get infected.
  10. Be careful regarding your hat selection. Remember your head is still numb from the anesthesia and you won't feel anything for several weeks actually. Always gently and carefully remove any hat you wear, especially for the first 3-4 days after surgery.
  11. So sorry to see your results so far. Hope that donor area improves. I know HT's in Turkey are inexpensive but clearly have mixed results....too often. Hope your 2nd surgical results go well. Hang in there and keep us posted.
  12. Like Melvin says...give it a few more months and see if you have some late growth. Hope you see improvements and new growth.
  13. Great job on a difficult patient with such curly hair. I'm sure transections were an issue during surgery. Nice work.
  14. Sorry your frustrated. Hang in there a couple more months and have a conversation with your surgeon around one year post surgery.
  15. Thanks for your insight Dr. Bloxham regarding smoking and hair transplants. Interesting.
  16. Looking good for a relatively small number of grafts but it looks like you have great hair and these grafts should create a nice new hairline for you. Keep us posted with pictures each month.
