  1. Looking forward to your results in a couple months. Should look great. Don’t forget to send us some pictures.
  2. I absolutely agree with others above. The number of grafts is essential information regarding expectations. I had a lot of growth between the 3rd and 4th month so hopefully you will see new growth. Let us know when you find out the actual number of grafts.
  3. Excellent results with the number of grafts used. Congrats to you and your patient.
  4. Nicely done considering the difficulty of attaining good crown coverage. Congrats to you and your patient.
  5. Not sure what you mean by...fall on its own...but your grafts have a new blood supply and are firmly incorporated and very safe at this point.
  6. Hope you post some pictures but I’m sure you’re just fine. Shock loss is of course, common. Curious on the bandages and FUE scarring. Any scarring will typically fade to very small white dots depending on what size punch was used. I had a 0.8mm punch and the scarring was really not discernible even after my head was shaved prior to a second procedure. Don’t worry, you have a lot to look forward to.
  7. You have a lot to look forward to. If you go to my website (posted below) you can see exactly what I experienced every day after surgery. My posts include narratives, pictures, and videos along the way. Just look in my archives for September 2012. Best of luck to you and post your experience for all of us to see.
  8. Thanks for the explanation Dr. Barghouthi. That makes perfect sense. Your patient has a lot to look forward to and I’m sure he appreciates your good work.
  9. Probably some shock loss. I'm sure you will be pleased in 3-4 months.
  10. Looks good in the front. I'm surprised he didn't use all 2360 grafts in the front. It's difficult to cover that crown area. Glad you are pleased.
  11. Typically motorized punch at $4 is a good price. Looking forward to seeing pictures in a few months.
  12. I’m sure you’re fine and you would have seen fairly immediate issues it there was a problem. It was very helpful for me to sleep in a more upright position in order to take pressure off my donor area located on the back of my head.
  13. Interesting comments on the medications taken for hair retention. I'm sure they may work for some or most but I've never taken any medication for hair loss/retention. I had over 7,000 grafts transplanted eight years ago this month. My wife is a hair dresser and cuts my hair on a regular basis. She examines my head monthly and has not noticed any apparent hair loss in the recipient areas. Maybe there has been a little hair loss but its just not noticeable. Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones. I just never wanted to take a regiment of medications the rest of my life.
  14. Really nice results with a limited number of grafts. Thanks for sharing. Thumps up to Dr. Diep.
  15. Lots of good advice above. I'm sure your doctor would be happy to remove any grafts now if it's going to really bother you. I wouldn't pluck them out yourself, let your doctor do that.
  16. Send us some pictures of your donor areas. I've had two surgeries (5,125 and 2,000) grafts. Check out my website below for pictures and videos.
