  1. @vanilia you keep saying that your result looks bad under bright light but the picture you are posting are taken from inside and look really really good, especially from the front... you should post some pics with better light too
  2. @williamsburgh in my case i didn't ask the doctor for any special treatment because i don't have a problem with needles or anything like that. for the donor area I would not worry if i were you... i felt something i can describe more as discomfort ... not a real pain... just for few seconds... the anesthetic kicks in pretty quick.. after 5 seconds you have no idea if the doctor does anything to your scalp or not... and goes the same for the frontal area, maybe slightly more discomfort but you will totally manage. I am trying to be honest with you that was in my experience.... Because my procedure was early in the morning i had to wake up early to drive for 3 hours before the procedure... and 20 minutes after the procedure started i took a nap while the doctor was collecting the grafts in my donor area... so after those 5 seconds when they are injecting the anesthetic you can't feel anything. Hopefully you will have same experience as me.
  3. I will probably ask when i can go for my consultation, at the moment is impossible because i am outside of the country but the number of grafts is not so important for me. I am more curious to hear your opinions how the surgery looks so far. hopefully soon i will have more growth and i will update you with pictures.
  4. thank you for your quick replies guys. the price was 3500 euros and he did the whole procedure, helped by the assistant, but he is the only one who touched me. Hope that answer your questions.
  5. Hi people. I recently discovered this great forum where I can share my experience after a hair transplant surgery. At the end of July 2020 I had this operation because I suffer from male pattern baldness and my hair line had receded a lot in the last few years. The doctor said will not charge me for the grafts number but depending on how many days of intervention i need (i paid 3.5k for 1 day). For this reason i am not sure about number of grafts, (but I am seeing a lot of experienced people in this forum so you can estimate that would be great). I will post few pictures bellow so you guys can tell me your opinion about what I achieved so far. I do not have any good pictures before the operation but I uploaded few photos taken during procedure so you can see how my hairline looked before. Day of operation donor after 2 days donor after 6 days hairline 2 hours after operation 6 days post op 11 days post op after 17 and 21 days 2 months post op 12 weeks post op At the moment the donor area is absolutely fine, no concern here. I didn't experience any swelling, and the shedding started around 4 weeks after op. My hairline was never so low and straight so me and the doctor agreed to keep a natural design. Now, at 3 months i think i can see a little growth compared to 2nd month, also the redness is almost gone completely. The doctor told me that my donor area is very good and i have many grafts with 2 or more hair (check the 11 days post op photo). The waiting is so difficult and the growth slow but i think after 3 more months i will see if it was worth it, because at the moment i think my hair looks more or less the same as before the procedure. i would like to hear your opinion about my journey so far. thanks i will post updates as soon as something noticeable happens.
  6. I was afraid of this, one month mark is less than a week away so we will see soon. Or maybe all my hairs will shed after the 1 month mark... thank you very much for your replies.
  7. Hi, 25 days ago I had my fue transplant. Around 20 days post op I noticed some shedding going on... around 10 hairs in my hand every time I was touching the transplanted area and lasted around 4 days. Yesterday and today it stopped I only see 1 or 2 hairs in my hand quite rare, and I still have around 50-60% of the transplanted hair on my scalp. My question is: Can the shedding last only about 4 days and then completely stop? or I should expect that will come back again in few days. thank you!
