  1. Thanks! Yeah, I should have been more clear, I meant using a clipper not a razor. Okay great, that definitely sets you mind at ease.
  2. Hey guys! I know this is probably a silly question, but when is it usually safe to shave my recipient area post fue? Obviously scabs are long gone since I’m 4 months since surgery, but my doctors notes say don’t take a razor to it for 6 months. That’s seems excessive to me. Any input?
  3. Thanks John! Just not used to the big tissue pieces haha.
  4. Hey guys! I’m just about 6 weeks post op, and losing massive amounts of hair with the ugly duckling phase. and I saw this little scab shed today. if this happened the first two weeks I would be convinced I lost a graft, but can that big white bulb be just normal shedding of the follicle? Just curious, thanks.
  5. Ya I switched to baby shampoo and it helped a lot
  6. Ok great thanks. And ya I definitely noticed the pimples lately
  7. Okay ya I’ll try that thank you. Not a huge issue, just something I noticed recently and wasn’t sure usually when they suggest you can use other shampoos post op.
  8. Sebamed, the shampoo the clinic gave to use. Still have about 1/4 of it left.
  9. Hey guys! Little over 3 weeks post op, constant flaking and dandruff the last 4-5 days in recipient area.. anyone know how to control this? Not sure if this is just the pre shed or what, thanks!
  10. Ya start the lotion process day 5 post op about an hour before shower, and just let it soak in. Than continue to do the whole shower routine. Than day 7-10 apply lotion once every 5 hours and than jump in the shower and gently massage. And ya that cup thing is barely doing anything I noticed lol. The post surgery instruction are quite clear, just wondering your guys experiences because as you know, first time removing scabs is a daunting task to say the least. What day did you start the hand technique, first wash?
  11. Hey guys, I’m 5 and half days post op fue, and I started applying lotion to my recipient area 30 mins before showering, and proceeding to shower with sebamed shampoo very lightly/cup method. My question is with this reduced pressure, a lot of lotion is stuck on my scalp still. Any suggestions to remove it, or just let it soak in? Thanks!
