  1. Beard hair healing i guess depends in the extraction style, tool, doctor , etc. i had some beard hairs extracted and yes there is some scarring there with the surgeon that did it, even on my chest there is scarring even though i was told it should subside later and would heal. ive heard Dr Bisanga and Dr Mwamba and etc have better success with healing.
  2. I know how it is when a megasession is done wrong— it can setup a bad scalp for future repairs— only a skilled ethical doctor can probably repair it as the yield will be somewhat impacted due to more scar tissue then usual.
  3. Dr Bhatti was removed? I didnt even know, when did that happen? One thing i can see is that this forum actually has moderator that does respond and is more interactive. There are some locked threads, but if you compare it to some other forum(s), probably a lot more open to user complaints publicly. Melvin, have you considered doing a call in chat session weekly/biweekly? Like a podcast.
  4. Heard a lot about Dr Konior, you may want to consult with him. Razzy and Phil, how is the work of Dr Konior holding up?
  5. This is actually yielding pretty well. My scalp didnt have much loss i had beard body hairs in crown too, mine ruined scalp more and shocked it more with the doc i had. You are definitely coming along well for 4 months with the doctor you went with. I cant wait to see the final result. Lookin good so far!
  6. Great choice and looking forward to seeing this. I see the markup you have and no doubt should come out well. Best wishes
  7. It is a setback for Canadian surgeons. Hopefully, it opens up soon and things normalize. Probably why I couldn’t get in touch to speak with them.
  8. BobMan, it has been a long time. Glad it’s been holding up well. You made a great choice from the beginning. Nice to see you’ve moved on and doing well.
  9. Huge difference. It looks natural. Esp outside pic, it looks good. Congrats
  10. Can we be around kids or pregnant women when we apply the finasteride/minoxidil combo? Just asking as we wouldn’t normally immediately wash it off our scalp.
  11. -Virus is here to stay -It has screwed the entire world -People have died -Till vaccine is here, we are unsure and living with fear -Conspiracy or no conspiracy, it has affected us all negatively Reality is, it has messed up every industry Trump and others would not take a toxic drug as precaution to prevent it if it wasn’t as deadly as it seems. That malaria drug can even blind you as a side effect amongst other things.
  12. Wowwww sometimes i wonder, for folks that had Crown work and then started taking finasteride per advice of their doc. How much is actually the work of finasteride vs the work of like 2000+ grafts to the crown. i mean looking at yours, what an amazing recovery without the use of surgery. You could have easily said after 4000 grafts and shown a before and after. It is an amazing drastic difference here.
  13. No matter what magnifying glass they use, it will be extremely hard to see it. They may be able to guess it if a very thin Vellus like hair remains, but there’s no gaurantee.
  14. In telogen the bulb will barely be robust and healthy, thus any extraction can probably kill it or they wont be able to get that hair to use safely. Remember, fue, can be more detrimental to finer hairs during extraction too.
  15. Depends on how deep incisions are made and what method is used for incisions and how much fluid is injected. Skill of doctor in proper angulation also comes into play. Hairs can transect, when they do, shockloss can be permanent. When they dont, they may grow back unless the area harmed starts getting heavily scarred with less and less vascularization, then they wont. My scalp got played with and wreckless things lead to damages. Lost faith in some docs and learned some truth to this industry. trying to get out of this situation. Hoping i can so that i can move on. Carefully tread on this and get multiple opinions from multiple docs. Ih and tell them you’ll be posting online and some will tell you the truth then. Be careful and good luck
  16. This looks amazing to me. I wish mine was at least like this. Looks natural. Even outside still looks natural. Nice look overall.
  17. Hair transplants may not be all perfect, but some will die for results like that- me included. The results do mot really wreak hair transplant to many eyes, nor give a strong impressionS that a person now needs work done. Clearly, these are still successes. But i do think it would be risky to find more perfection as it may cause more harm then good- lots of docs will take your money for these risky next steps and make it seems they will deliver but that is far from truth. i am glad you guys looks good and clearly, this is a DISTINCT positive change from previous till now. best of luck going forward to you guys
  18. Overall, i think it is a safer clinic to choose vs some others. They’ve been putting out some good work lately (esp more FUE works to showcase).. I look forward to speaking with Dr Wong and Dr Hasson sometime soon. While i havent spoken to Dr Hasson yet, I did get a moment to talk to Dr Wong. What I can say is I feel Dr Wong is all about the level of patient care and has more sympathy then some other docs ive spoken with. He seems to try to help you and is upfront on how he can do so with a plan. He seems he has ethics. It is a tough choice, but they both have had success in working in the front and in the crown. Actually, i think this clinic invented the real lateral slit recipient zone style and “whorl”pattern for the crown which some other clinics used afterwards for marketing. Some of those same docs have failed in delivering lateral slits and crown work miserably as well . Now, are you going in for FUT or FUE?
  19. Hairline is a little higher but then again are you prone to lose more hair, what was the norwood scale before you started? . How many cm is it right now from the base of hairline to the eyebrows, from the left side to the eyebrow, from the center side tot he eyebrow, from the right Side to the eyebrow? Let the area heal for at least 12-16 months before taking any surgical route again. Also, if they implant in same recipient zones be careful of transections. Also, if they plant in the area in front of your hairline be mindful of adequate SAFE density to get your goals addressed. Get it on paper what your expectations are via email and dont pay any deposits to anyone until your questions are answered fully and in detail. Also, when the hairline is designed, make sure they do not put the left or right side (arching up Much higher more then the other side). It should be somewhat consistent when designed versus eye guessing it at time of surgery. now, you can lower the hairline but remember for every 1cm you go, you may be utilizing upwards up to 1,000 grafts. This all depends on your hair texture and caliber as well. Be careful with this and stay safe. I know this means a lot to you so just think it through and research further on best approach and surgical protocols. now it may be worthwhile to get multiple free consults from top doctors in the area to see what they suggest—have you reached out to Hasson and Wong? What about Dr Bloxham? Dr Lindsey? Dr Konior? Dr Wesley? Any other doctors? Honestly, it will help with assessment if many docs give similar plans. I am a guy in need of ethical repair. i hope i can have my life back and issues addressed soon as well. It’s been brutal so far and im kinda left hanging at the moment. People can sugarcoat the actual level of severity of the damages just to deceive you, but then you learn how much deception there is when it comes to actual costs, who would do it, how they will do it. You go in for fue initially and now for repairs fut and Scalp resections are even on tables along with other things not mentioned. So, At least for me, its been a roller coaster. So I hope these things go smooth for you. Best of luck
  20. Biggest fear Is risking further shockloss in the area where there is hair. If you plant in between native hairs, it is a hit or miss depending on how much density is used and how how many microns your hair is. I completely hear you though, with the amount if grafts you already had it shouldve did the job. Now you need more to rectify the areas that look thin. Best of luck to you.
  21. 21% VAT????? Is that for local patients or even for others from outside Belgium?
  22. Body hairs, nape hairs, chest hairs, beard hairs are completely unnatural and do not yield much. They also are very limited in densities- 1 to 2 grafts (if that). They’ll make area unnatural and even kill your existing hairs. Trust me on it as ive experienced. Also, if you take finasteride, these other hairs will die. hair systems these days can do wonders and theres no shame they look much better then a transplant if done right. There is maintenance, but then again people take finasteride daily and apply rogaine twice daily then spend hours trying to spray toppik and have that go in our nose and worry when it rains and buy shampoos we think will do something etc etc. to get away from all that- a good hair system or good smp may help you out. Please do not start the hair restoration journey though as i gaurantee it wont be enough to cover you and it will look unnatural due to the counts you need to make it happen. Due to covid im unable to show you but if your local to ny nj areas i dont mind showing what can happen. Truth matters and i believe facts will help guide your decision. Best of luck
  23. Hasson and Wong may and most likely are the best in Canada. I haven’t spoken to Dr Hasson yet/ hopefully ill get to talk to him. Dr Wong seems like an ethical person, he is classy. They have a lot of results across forums. Talk to them directly at their company email. See how much they will do it for. Best of luck with everything.
