  1. You can get screwed by a known doc in North America or a doc in Turkey. It doesnt matter if you pay more or less. What matters is a doctors ethics on how he will approach your case, or what they suggest, what is there surgical protocol etc. If you do decide to get this done by a doc from here or Turkey, let any doctor you go to know the following: I am using my full rights to post everything about this procedure with you on forums as you are working on virgin scalp and it will be good documentation for everyone, then see how many are confident in their procedure and how many turn you away. You will realize a lot of truth. This industry isnt really strongly built upon strong ethics, very few docs possess patient safety or safely working on a patient. Very few docs will refund if there is a screw up, very few will try to do a repair. Everything sounds good when they try to get you in the chair and then talk showcase result with you but when shit hits the fan, they try to distance or get assistance from folks online or previous patients to try to discredit you and etc. you have to be around many years to see this and read hundreds of thousands of posts and responses and behavior patterns. Id try to see if meds can stabilize and you do not want to implant between weaker native hair, you can end up with permanent shockloss. My donor developed patches due to compressed extractions etc., Recipient zone was heavily scarred limiting blood flow and causing myriad of issues. I am still struggling and some folks are trying to shortchange me while some including officials realize there is a genuine issue with the entire ordeal. as an ongoing harmed repair patient, i urge you to tread this path very carefully. I had more native hairs then you before i started My journey but now i am in 10 times worse shape. The last thing id want is a person to go in and end up with scarring and harm. You should get in person consults in NY to see what docs say. This is not want you want to end up with— that front thin looking zone is a supposed high density recipient zone via fue- look at this fake looking hairline and wack ass angulation- skim scarring and slight discoloration due to ridging and pitting- it killed native hairs and you can see the natural non transplant hairs behind the frontal recipient zone Best of luck to you
  2. As mentioned by others, I can understand the patches and understand your concerns. Have you tried any concealers on camera to see how they come out. They may help. If you go in for another procedure, you have to be careful as thicker grafts in already scarred tissue can result in more shockloss or damage if done wrong. I can see the strip scar on one side more then the other at the same haircut length? You may be able to get that filled. Your donor seems medium caliber so id expect it to fill up front well. How did the area look before surgery? thats the one thing i looked forward to with the restoration, having a front facing job requires a lot of eyes at the face including scalp. If it doesnt go as per the goals it can create numerous issues and your left chasing ways to get out of the situation with very confusing options. Currently trying to figure all of it out myself. Journalist that writes for a magazine?-thats pretty cool. Wish you the best.
  3. Id avoid a cap or any pressure for few months. Why? It’s an expensive surgery and a lot of hassle to go through healing period. Besides, there are cases of sikhs who wear turbans daily that can end up with traction alopecia. If that can cause hairloss for them, a hat for long hours and certain tightness may do the same. Just an added risk to an already risky procedure. Its up to you if you feel it is worth it. Best of luck
  4. Wait and see How meds work. You may recover a lot of hair after a year. Surgery can shock your existing hairs where you are chasing transplants. Trust me, your scalp is ideal for Meds at the moment. Really wait it out it will probably be the safer move at this point with all that native hair in between. Best of luck
  5. Great repair Dr Lindsey. I always admire your efforts and sincerity. Glad to see you know how to repair folks with scar tissue and you seem to do things that are safe for your patients. Just wondering any idea on how to best approach the situation here where im struggling as a result of these damages, harm, and unnatural looking work where all eyeballs staring at my hairline all the time? Im really suffering and would love to get honest professional inputs if possible Complete bullshit what im going through and this is definitely not a reasonable expectation issue here this is the high density hairline fue and the so called showcase that i am trying to make normal and get out of. I definitely did not deserve this after coming back from war and really want to live with some peace and really suffering. Theres some pitting and ridging as a result of the work and repairs to so called repair the repair. Thank You.
  6. I didnt look as much in the mirror as i do now after failed surgery and so called repair. This is due to negative comments and folks telling me my hair looks messed up. I also have ridging and cobblestoning/pitting. This is due to unethical surgery performed and it has set me back where I need a proper repair. Looks way unnatural now. It even impacted donor area with density losses around. Totally fucked my scalp up and everyone that has seen me concurs with my assessments. This include everyday folk, professionals, reps, and officials. So, after surgery in looking at mirror a lot to try to figure out how to mask the level of unnatural work and harm on scalp. Even toppik has a hard time helping.
  7. LaserCap, thank you for the kind words and appreciation. I am in the East Coast, NJ area.
  8. Hindi, Punjabi, Pashto, Balochi, Sindhi, Spanish, some French, some Arabic. Working on Farsi. Some of the languages here have similar words so it is easier to pick up. :)
  9. Sorry to hear this but this result did not hit its intended goal I believe. If you decide you need to tweak this, then you will need a refinement procedure by a very ethical doctor. Be careful with using too much donor for too little recipient zone. Id say if you need to, find someone that does manual fue as you have different texture hair. Have you consulted with Dr Keser? Get a few consults from few surgeons from the area. But know this, your scalp still looks better then other folks who have gone through a procedure. I know as i am a repair patient that is still in need of a repair that resolves the issues created on my scalp. It is very upsetting but you just have to be careful and make sure they do the surgery ethically.
  10. Well, it’s not clear cut. Definitely should be taken very seriously as it is surgery. Very few docs probably do this surgery ethically with an ethical surgical protocol. Im harmed and still harmed and waiting to get out of this situation. I didn't deserve this and no one does. It is the most painful thing to go through. Just want this to be over with soon. Folks want to see me in person, feel free. I am just a war Veteran trying to get this situation resolved due to the krap done to my scalp. It’s taking a toll and trust me a lot of folks concur here including multiple professionals that have seen what was done. Folks may need to think twice to sit and talk to a smiling doctor nodding to everything and acting like your result will be high density or showcase or that their FUT yield matches their FUE yield or whatever they want to make claims for. if you start this journey, Document and record every goddam thing. Talk to multiple surgeons that may give you multiple options. Do not fall for the marketing. Just try to meet real patients that are not clinic pushed, but self reporting individuals. See if they can meet you in person and DO MEET REAL patients in person. The more you meet that have similar hairloss as you and hair texture as you, the more you will realize what may Possibly be achievable if all goes well. Best of luck to all that do go for it but if you do just be really careful. Not everything is open and honest and clear ad it seems.
  11. Thanks man! 9 languages and counting! It is pretty rare but it helps folks throughout the world when it comes to Hair Transplant advice.
  12. Work looks clean and scalp is not overly bloodied as it is with some other surgeons. This looks very clean and will probably look good when grown out. So far so good and can’t wait to see this one grown out. Happy growing
  13. At this point we can agree whatever it is, his hair looks good and better than most transplants as it looks natural. His hair looks Wayyyy better than mine and mine was supposed to be high density.
  14. Does that mean Dr Feller is among from the list that has changed now? I thought his name meant great quality work?
  15. This is a distinct change that fits in line of realistic expectations patients with this level of loss and patter may have. This is a success and kudos to the doc!
  16. Clearly that result needs repair but please be careful. i can understand what your goin through as my situation is shit as well. I really think you need to get consults from a few more docs before you decide just to get an idea on what the common treatment plan may be. Its frustrating and very sorry to see you goin through this. Best wishes and i hope you get it resolved based on your original treatment goals.
  17. If you really need to get a hair transplant done, consider maximizing with strip first then possibly fue later. A screwed up fue job will creat patches in donor and create plenty of scar tissue all around. Including ridging and cobblestoning if done unethically. Trust me on that, i happen to know this all too well.
  18. No, supplements and special shampoos arent really needed. however, some shampoos can amplify the hair to make it look thicker like Nioxin. The oiler the shampoo the thinner it will make your hair look. But i wouldnt suggest any enhanced shampoo till like your done with the growth phase of your surgery . then you have some vitamins that may help with health of your hair maybe but not with added new growth. Biotin, omega 3 fish oils, vitamin d3, etc. taking care of your health in general, no drugs, no steroids, no smoking, proper diet can help you not shed hairs. best of luck with everything
  19. Definitely looks like a hairpiece. Some hairpieces these days are beyond unbelievable. You can hardly detect them and they do custom cutting around them and make them blend well these days
  20. By the way there is no best doctor its rather best practice to maximize yield and ensure scalp safety with honesty. Own up to it if you fuck up and make sure the patients concern is resolved till it is. If you caused it the. You should fucken fix it or get it fixed no matter how or what it takes and not leave a patient fucken hangin
  21. Dr Keser and any other doctor that can afford to pace the surgery by doing limited number of grafts a day. He does like 500 grafts a day i think and does all manual extractions. Thus, trying to lessen the risk to maximize yield. Basically any other doctor that can prevent patient scalp damage by not causing ridging or cobblestoning as well. Honesty and ethics are also the best policy overall.
  22. So far so good, but i agree with Legends assessment so far. 12 months and it should be fuller with more volume. your long hair style looks pretty cool man. Hairline does look natural though.
  23. 2400 grafts in 5 hours and no breaks? Was the tool motorized or manual? Was this done by surgeon the whole way or did techs extract? heres the thing, it’s possible they made more than 2400 extraction attempts/ holes but got 2400 grafts they thought were viable to use. do you have clearer all round pics of donor? Did the doc tell you at what density they planted in recipient zone?
