  1. If you are rejected, that is assurance as high number of extractions are done vs recipient coverage area in some clinics. I would hold off for a bit and get multiple consults with other surgeons who use less grafts vs the recipient coverage area and get higher yield. No doubt, surgery should be a last resort. Best of luck!
  2. Dr Bisanga and his joint clinic I heard is really good at this. May want to see some patient results from him and see if anyone is willing to meet in person. Best of luck
  3. Solid solid solid.... i concur , absolute dream result. Good choice was made. Man, that looks fantastic and gosh, definitely does not look like nor shows any hint of a transplant. Awesome!
  4. Lots of great questions to ask mentioned above. Another good one is, can I see what consent forms folks need to sign prior to surgery? What will you offer if there is less growth or unnatural result or failure?
  5. Payam, glad you got professional opinions to validate concerns. Remember, true lateral slits and attention to proper angulation can also help with the sparse areas as well. I am hoping after all this is done with, you can successfully move forward. I am in a very tough spot where my hairline in front where it was grafted looks totally unnatural and far more see through. One takeaway is this, at least your scalp is not too scarred and I think a touch up in the right hands will correct this. Thanks for sharing your updates and staying strong. Best wishes.
  6. Yes, it does cause scarring. It is visual and can be concealed a little if you grow beard hair out longer, so, it will be less noticeable if it is under the jaw vs jawline and above(cheeks). Also depends on the punch and tool too. I had welts and noticeable issues. Do not believe the hype and bullshit of scarfree area or very minimally noticeable bs. Sometimes you have to tell it as it is if you've gone through it, it is a service and ethical standpoint to inform other folks of what you were not fully informed of. So, if you go through with this, yes, it is an option for repairing a scar or like donor or rear of the scalp with the mixture of other hairs. It is definitely not natural looking to be hairline hair. Ive asked quite a few folks who mocked me in person and they told me how ridiculous it looks and how overall I need to be repaired to look natural overall, aside from the beard hair. You definitely do not want others to go through what you have gone through. That should be the viewpoint of those that try to help others. Best of luck.
  7. 2094 grafts placed yielded well and 4 years later holding well. Looks natural too. He has every reason to be happy. Great work.
  8. Honestly, it looks good. It looks better than what I have on my scalp after the surgeries by top docs and now with damage. That itself should tell you how well you are doing. Congrats man. looks really natural and you are holding on well. Next year I think it will probably keep getting better. Thanks again for sharing this as it will definitely help a lot of folks.
  9. I agree with your points, but I think for most not all, the failure rate is probably more than 10%. I say this because the number of messages I received for failed and harmed patients from trusted surgeon(s) was an eye opener. Lots of folks had yield issues, donor issues, and other issues. This is something that many people do not reveal online. What you see online is a minor pool of results and even so you see failures posted or hidden from view. A lot of docs fail to inform in many aspects.
  10. Ranger, what do you mean By NDA. Is it something to completely ban you from posting anything online or sharing anything? Or is this more like a surgical consent where you agree to risks?
  11. Here is another one. They tell you their FUE matches their FUT yield and that there is no difference but then you get in the chair and they tell their tech/nurse you have to extract this way and that way. This is when you initially consider FUT first. If ht fails and repair fails they tell you to try another doc that may do something different due to more experience? They refuse to send all medical records when requested and say it is a confidential thing when you request them yourself. They tell you options to be a showcase result and when things go awry they don't email. They tell you you have over 9000 grafts via eye fukment but when things go awry they arent sure anymore. a lot of uninformed stuff goes on and unethical stuff and things that confuse a patient you can literally keep going
  12. Improper extraction of grafts, improper tools, improper surgical protocol. Improperly trained staff. Too much saline injections and etc. list can go on. if it is a physiological issue as some might add then that is what consults and in person screenings prior to surgery can detect. What i can say is life is living hell when you are a person that has had his scalp screwed by trusted surgeon and continue to be repair as a result of uninformed damage to scalp. I wish no one has to go through repair or be in a situation where you are stuck. I hope more doctors can stop lying and be more ethical and straightforward. Some act as if they are doing you or did you favors when you are in the situation you are in due to their actions. Then you have doctors that do not communicate and rely on their agents to communicate when something goes awry. Lot of unethical folks out there. Then You have doctors that blame another doctor that takes part in repairs and vice versa. Its funny how someone can go from colleague to it is due to him and damaged he caused. At this point, i am looking to try to get out of a nightmare situation by those that worked on my scalp.
  13. I can say from a sad etc experience the yield sucks and it is a rip off. Only way beard hair surgeries may show a distinct result on scalp is if you do one of those bogus 8,000 plus graft surgeries where after you pay a large sum of money and the yield is like 20 percent. Out of shitload of grafts where only few may grow due to poor yield but it is enough to maybe help. If you get like 2000 grafts then the yield will probably be super low and turn out to be ineffective. You are not going to get a showcase patient result out of those hairs even though you may be told great things pre surgery to get you to sit in the chair. They grow in odd angles too if the surgeon planted them inefficiently. Aside from that, you cant use finasteride if you have body hairs on your scalp apparently. Highly recommend using such hairs as last resorts or for scar filler hair or something. Any of the folks you know that did beard hair to scalp grafting have posts across any forum that you can share?
  14. Best wishes, look forward to seeing your updates.
  15. Best way to apply it is from a distance and using the toppik pump spray applicator. You can buy one at CVS-most carry it or Amazon. Otherwise applying it near hairline without an applicator can make things lookfake and caked on. Ive become a semi expert on applying that krap after living through a FUE hell. Been going through hell and trying out ways to cover this mess.
  16. Most of These doctors seem ethical—- they know the right/safe density for a particular hairtype. However, review each of their surgical protocols.
  17. It was sparse and then what happened? Did you get a result that looks natural indoors and outdoors? Or it didnt work out?
  18. If wrong surgical protocol is used, yes, and the shockloss may not return. High surgeon Ethics may prevent such issues. You really do not suffer from that as it is brutal.
  19. I concur, be very careful with dense packing, especially, if extractions are done via tech or novice or someone that is being trained.
  20. Looks amazing! Dr Couto is really good but good luck getting a date because the clinic is super booked. He is on other forums and there is a lot of his work posted.
  21. Ive heard of HLC, they have several good results. Awesome!
  22. Plenty of good docs in Turkey. At some point, some weren't even part of any online lists or recommendations. Look at real patients and look at a doctors entire surgical protocol. The doctor should be heavily involved in the procedure.
  23. Actually, I know a couple of celebs and politicians and etc.. Right now it is the other way around, I am telling them what to look out for. But few folks, i know are going to docs that care and do things ethically. No one wants to end up getting screwed or having issues later where doc goes mia and just passes you off to multiple assistants and etc. Celebs do play a big role though. They are in the public limelight so if you see a bad transplant then you know the celeb got screwed. In most cases, their agents know what to look for. They do read up online when helping to pick a surgeon for their celeb employer.
  24. Amazing result you have! This is what some folks pay for but do not get. Imagine with 65cm2 and Im definitely not living this life. Hasson and Wong did you right and did what they need to for the safety of your scalp ethically. I wishes my life could be like this but my time is being wasted and a lot of damage was done. I am hoping to get out of a nightmare situation.
