  1. -Misangled grafts can cause fall out months later when they grow and transect each other -Depth of graft insertion can be a part if it -It can happen if a graft is inserted at different angles where one grows sooner and anotger grows later tgen they collide with each other as they mature -Other reasons for graft fall out could be if weaker grafts that were tend to shed were placed in the area in general -other reason could be skin issues or folliculitus realated sheds usually last 3-4 months but return hope your growth is better soon
  2. Oh and remember, beard, body, nape hair react adversely with finasteride. Finasteride is safe for scalp hair and grafts, but it can shed other body hairs that gave been grafted into recipient zones.
  3. Doctors ive spoken to have mentioned more direct constant rays. It is quite natural to get some sun, whether you are sitting in your office and some light shines through windows or driving and having some sunlight on and off. But standing on a bright sunny day with direct sunlight for more than 10 minutes and no shade on a sidewalk will probably not be in your best interest. Some docs suggest wearing caps when grafts are safely anchored per their own guidlines. There are two sides to this, if your body is without any sun and you are active only in the evening hours-like dracula- you are risking lower levels of vitamin d, which, can be detrimental to your hair as well.
  4. You should avoid direct long term sun on recipient zone for a couple of months. Multiple docs ive spoken to suggest it can be detrimental and elevate risk to the grafts.
  5. Sm90, fut is usually high yielding in most hands and docs can see appropriate groupings to create natural density if they dissect the strip well with appropriate slithering. If you still have lack of density gaps in your hairline, before 12-13 month mark, you may need a second well researched decision to undergo a second procedure. Weaker hairs should never be used towards areas where density is needed. Also, hairs should not be going in different directions or horizontal like a tree. Thats not how a recipient graft should look like. Hair should be placed at a very articulate and distinguishable lateral slit angle to increase the look of density. Some docs mention they will do lateral slit but end up doing some horizontal bullcrap or create angles that look like ant legs. I think its just to get a patient in the chair they’ll say anything. Very few docs can do true lateral slit and you can find them if you research. Best of luck and i know how brutal this can be. Sometimes it is better to get an honest opinion then to be led on and have your emotions played with and time wasted. People should start saying it like it is to help a person and not to confuse them. You should question tge doc and see what he/she has to say and offer you. Again best of luck.
  6. Gatsu is definitely enjoying this is by far an amazing well calculated journey. Well researched, well planned, well executed. This one is definitely top tier work.
  7. Dr Baubac also gets decent hairlines. Dr Feller had some quite natural hairlines. Dr Keser puts out decent hairlines Dr Gabel has had some good work here Dr Freitas is great and he is booked a long time there are more but it doesnt hurt to get a consult with these docs as well. best of luck
  8. Probably a highly ethical doc like Dr Cooley, Dr Lindsey, Dr Wong, Dr Col, Dr Wesley to start off with. If you are repairing hairline esp, avoid nape hair or body or bear hairs. Nape hair should be outbof the question. Beard hairs for scars, possibly. But it is extremely low yield. Scalp hair is best for donor means. Best of luck with everything and get multiple dagone consults. This way you can get a graft average vs high and low estimates.
  9. Wow, This is the first time i am hearing of this. Mods, do you guys think this can reduce recipient scar tissue since it pulls the skin to get blood flowing? Do you think this may increase scalp laxity? my one fear with this is, ive seen folks wear turbans for years and some get traction alopecia from pulling and tugging and tightness of turban. I just hope this does not have a similar effect long term. Thanks for informing us about it though.
  10. This is beyond terrible. This benchod doc couldn’t assess patient’s health properly or failed to see what was going on. Sad as this had to happen this way for this man. He literally died in severe pain. This can happen anywhere and i think this was poor screening and follow up with this patient. I hope his family gets justice. I hope to god that doc never gets membership access on any forum if he does operate single handedly or if he does it in a partnership setting. Death like this should definitely be a disqualifier for the doc and any associates. Completely terrible way to leave this earth.
  11. Some folks think it is ok to do that but in the second time around a surgeon may get careless . They may use chunkier grafts and bigger punches. They may cause more scarring within the zones already grafted and leaving you with ridging or cobblestoning. Then possibly send you elswhere after they realize they did a good job destroying vascularization to your scalp and you are having to go back and forth and hoping to get out of a nightmare situation. I really hope that this really comes to an end soon. It is brutal and folks shouldn'thave to go through repairs. Repairs can be very risky if done wrong and you are already utilizing pricelesss grafts. Fml
  12. I think Dr Keser can be added to that list. Dr Vories also does the work himself. Dr Bhatti I believe does as well.
  13. Did you try seeing what Dr Keser says? I heard Dr Wong is a great surgeon yaar. He is a great choice too.
  14. I agree with Melvin. Dr Feller and Bloxham are good choices too. Melvin, does Dr Feller or Bloxham still do both FUT and FUE? They posted good videos here.
  15. The whole point of going through such a painstaking procedure is for a distinct cosmetic change that looks natural and satisfies the goal of the look of having hair. The goal is not to have a scalp that looks off or see through based on the things discussed with the doctor, their marketing materials, their agents and affiliates. If after going through such a procedure you have eyes wonder to your scalp and have negative comments or comments that suggest you are thinning or balding, then the procedure has failed. If the reality is a person cannot attain a reasonable natural result, and doctors know this, then a doctor should turn that patient down instead of taking dollars and proceeding with it. The most painful part is for a person to try to chase repairs due to the damages done. Some docs will make you feel like they may do you favor but the amount of pain and suffering is surely worth an enormous amount of money. It is reasonable for any person that has attention to detail and demands perfection and quality after such an expensive and time consuming surgery that utilizes priceless grafts to question a result, whether, issue is in a part or crown or a temple or eyebrow or the whole scalp. Theres been some talk about few folks going to cheaper unrecommended surgeons and being told you get what you pay for. Well if something goes wrong with a known surgeon, how is you get what you pay for, applied?
  16. You make a good point. Also, head size and hair caliber/texture plays a big role here with coverage success. Doc Ive spoken with said i had more than 10,000 grafts available in donor when i started this damn journey. Physiology will definitely play a big role. For example, Dr Bisangas latest result posted of 5 thousand something grafts had extensive high end hairloss. Yet he looks better than most results with other surgeons attempting high density grafting. Why? Probably because Dr Bisanga planned it for the patients safety and high ethics as he believes in the doctor’s code. Doctor skill definitely matters too. Doctors ethics definitely matter too. They can either take your money and screw you or they can do this safely and without wasting precious grafts. And thats because they are condfident they can do it with lower graft counts. There are few docs tgat can do this and utilize utmost ethics. The rest are lean mean marketing machines. The crazier the surgical consent form, the crazier they are trying to protect themselves and not the patient. Grafts are priceless. So this surgery should be done with extreme care and not based on greed. This is a change to the face, the one part of the body that is always visible.
  17. Extensive hairloss and the grafts went a long way. Looks natural and he must be happy.
  18. Hi, can you take pic with hd camera or higher resolution. The blurry pic actually adds a toppik like effect. It makes things look denser then They really are in person. High def pic should help us see the result better.
  19. Melvins hair looks quite natural really. It doesnt look off or something odd to the eye. He definitely has reasons to be very happy. Clearly, in everyday setting, Melvin looks great and looks normal. No eyes would stare at his scalp but rather his face. Thats when you know your situation is normal. I just dont know but sometimes you just wish. Wish someday to be happy Fml
  20. Did they do a test to see caliber/texture of your hair type? Remember, while motorized FUE may be viable with one hair type, manual fue extraction may be less risky for another. 2000 grafts may be a smart number to start with. Try to avoid high density megasessions in a small recipient zone. Trust me on that. You do not want to be in a nightmare situation. Good idea may be to reach out to Dr Wong, Dr Bisanga, Hattingen, Dr Keser to see what they may say is the best approach to this. Ask plenty of questions. Best of luck.
  21. Title of article: NFL Legend Brian Urlacher Sues Hair Restoration Company for $100,000 Source: https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/nfl-legend-brian-urlacher-sues-144913456.html?soc_src=community&soc_trk=ma Did this guy get a hair restoration procedure? Where are his before and afters? Has anyone seen them?
  22. I can understand your concerns, but anything can happen. I was responding to the person that mentioned ishrs complaint. It all depends on documentation, email exchanges, any other exchange outside the forums, and numerous factors. If you call up the FTC or have a meeting with them, they can explain how things work. There is more to these things in general. I actually spoke with folks on that side. so far did you get what you paid for? payment was made was service rendered in full? do you have statements from other known docs and consultations as to what is needed to rectify current issue at hand? did you see other results to make your expectations think this is how the work will be? Where did you see that work? Can you link to that work? You have copies of all email? Can you provide details? From initial contact, to consultation, to today? Do you have copy of consents? Can you provide them? Are there related forum posts / responses that can be attached? Did you get adequate response lately from the clinic? Did you get copies if your medical records? What organizations is the doctor part of? Did you file complaint or raise issue with any organization? If so, what was the complaint and what their response? How many other folks have shared their experience similar to yours? Can you link their accounts? You can keep going— At the end of the day, hope this issue is resolved. Payam, when you get a chance, definitely try to post pics.
  23. Payam, thanks for showing the video. It legit shows concerns and i know you will be posting more updates in the days to come. Man oh man, you definitely can try to reach out to IAHRS or ISHRS but not sure how you will be taken. Quite honestly, you should file with them but send that same exact copy of correspondence to the FTC titled under Marketing/Business Practices and Marketing Fraud. Id urge anyone who has an issue with any clinic to do the same. Federal prosecuters/investigators know how the game is played and how silencing occurs and or marketing misrepresentation or bias occurs due to business relationships as well. The more information folks submit, the better it is for regulation of the industry. You can file in Turkey to local boards but if doctors are part of US business entities, there is more power here via FTC. lets see how it looks in photos a couple days from now. Payam, i think majority is wishing you the best here. This whole ordeal is no doubt not easy to go through. I think repair patients waiting to find a way to be repaired can feel the extreme pain. It is very tough to go through all these things man. Keep your head up.
  24. Looks on track. Redness stays for some time.
