Thank you very much for this detailed explanation. For the record: I totally agree with what you have said about cherry picking, and another clinic told and showed (!) my similiar things. But JoeT publicly said otherwise, therfore I think other public opinions like yours are very helpful.

my fue with dr feriduni 2214 u.f fue

Looking very good (!) for this stage (3.5 month). If this continous you will end up with a great result. -
You are both right. One of my favorite hairline clinics is (as far as I know) not (!) using microscopes. But I still believe there has to be improvement. And there are different cases which require different solutions. I do have a very uneven hairline with soft baby baby hair on one side. This baby hair was always there and is lost on one side. If I want to even the hairline I need to work with fine hair on the "bad" side. Nape hair might be one solution (at least I think so). That is why I am so interested why Konior promotes the usage of it, and Joe T denies it.

Thank you very much. A very detailed and very clear explanation which I am sure will helps many (future) patients. And maybe it will calm down the discussion in the net.

Dr Konior price. Should I do it?
Gasthoerer replied to Cap88's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Mikehawk is on point here. You need a clinic which suits you case. There is not the "best clinic". If you are looking for hairline specialist in europe, I throw in Heitmann from switzerland. He was associated with Feriduni (who I believe also performed the transplant of Heitmann himself) and does everything by himself. Disadvantage: Waiting list is very long and switzerland is expensive ... -
Dr. Feriduni - 2080 Fue - Worried at 3 months
Gasthoerer replied to Exi0's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Any updated pics? It has been three weeks. Anyway: If this was a "dense pack" or not you can already learn from the first pics after the surgery. YOu can just Count the grafts / cm2. -
FUT Hairline Specialists in Europe
Gasthoerer replied to TrixGlendevon's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
In my personal opinion there are several good reasons to have a consultancy in person: - A good clinic is going to measure your donor (density, area and hair Diameter). This very important as pictures are very misleading. - The clinic can draw a hairline and you can see if you like it. Personally I would not want to do this at the day of the surgery, as I would be nervous that day. A hairline is really personal taste: One of my favorite clinics for FUT which I often recommend typically creates hairlines that doesn't match my taste. It is good to discuss this before you take such a big step. - Especially with diffuse thinning like me, you need a personal consultation to define the amount of required grafts. All three clinics I have visited completely changed there mind after a personal consultation. -
Dr Bisanga vs Dr Lupanzula
Gasthoerer replied to RB15's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
For a smaller case I like the "Do it yourself" Approach of Lupanzula. I am very sure the is no "density" difference between the clinics as they are both excellent. -
How many grafts can I get from my donor?
Gasthoerer replied to Legend007's topic in Open Hair Loss Topics
I have been to three clinics for conculation. Pricing was in between 0 - 200 €. All did measurements of the donor area and told me the measured # (grafts / cm2) and the amount of graft required as well as the total amount of FU available. YOu can also use the measured # and calculate the grafts available and required yourself e. g. by using the Erdogang/Lorenzo method:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISpjL-j816E -
You should make a list with trigger word :-/ From my last Posts almost everyone was under Review.

Thanka L0ke an Bill! @Bill, I understand you explanation. However, there is a particular reason why I ask this question. 1. There is a lot of buzz about this topic, due to a recent post of a "X" (Name is obviously on the black list in here). 2. Erdogan recently published that he is going to use microscopes http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/189317-asmed-dr-koray-erdogan-mantis-elite.html 3. Some FUE clinics seem to use them (to avoid multis with dormant hair) and some not. 4. Feriduni as a FUE and (!) FUT clinic must have microscopes and the staff to use it. Still, they do not use them and "advertise" that they are not used. I think they are the only clinic doing this (have them, not using them, and advertise not using them). Kind of strange for me. What happens if you do not find enough Singles? Do not misunderstand me, this is a nice result. It is more a general question.

3500 FUE - Dr Feriduni - NWIIIA/IV - Sept 17'
Gasthoerer replied to Baldrick101's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
There is no reason to panic anyway. Your results are good already and I believe theres is further maturing. If (!) there is no much further improvement you are a minor touch up (< 500 FU) away from a homerun result. This is very common. Maybe you are just a Little more to scars and in combination with the dark hair this is more pronounced. Your Pictures are very honest too.- 47 replies

Nice result, with a low graft count. Do you have the graft count (#of 2,3,4...)? Also a picture from bigger distance would be great to see how it Looks in real life. Thank you!

3500 FUE - Dr Feriduni - NWIIIA/IV - Sept 17'
Gasthoerer replied to Baldrick101's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Thanks for continously sharing your experience. At 4 month your results looked very good, which is typically a hint that you will receive a great finaly outcome. At 7 month you have fallen a little of. It is still good but not great...yet. I hope for you it will mature further. The hairline is greatly chosen and designed from my perspective. You will be happy with this design at any age. You already look much better than before. However, your close up pics appears strange for a Feriduni case...quite a lot of doubles in the first row also quite a bit of micro scaring. That is sloopy work which I would not (!) expect from such a reputable clinic. Makes me really wonder if I made the right choice myself ... One personal comment: You should shave this few remaining hairs below you new hairline. Looks more clean. Grow well.- 47 replies

Jean's answer is spot on. No intention for meds, fairly aggressive loss plus high goals may lead to a big dissappointment. If there is no indication in your Family with similiar loss which then suddenly stopped if would reconsider on your Options.

FUE Crown Work - Bisanga v Erdogan v Lorenzo
Gasthoerer replied to xabi86's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Bisanga is using manual punch only. Best crown results I have seen from Lorenzo, Couto and Arocha, but... Keep in mind that patients of this clinics (especially Lorenzo and Couto) typically have nice hair charachteristics. Twice the diameter is more than twice the density.
