‘Propecia Castrated Me,’ Says New York State Man
Gasthoerer replied to Mark2010's topic in Hair Loss Drugs
And I see that you must be talking about yourself with this comments. Cause what I say is correct and what you say is ... well actually you say nothing. You just try to bully People in the hope to win the discussion in that way. -

‘Propecia Castrated Me,’ Says New York State Man
Gasthoerer replied to Mark2010's topic in Hair Loss Drugs
Well, what I see from this study: - Even the placebo group showed side effects - The difference is percent points is very small between placebo and substance - If the difference is significant is not yet clear, but needs further investigation Summary: If you have sides while taking FIN, there is a high chance that they are a mind trick or other health issues are behind them -
jjsrader, you came along very bitter and jealous with such an aggresive response. This is a valuable thread for all users as the OP openly discussed the PRO and CONS from his dicussion with Hasson. Very valuable. Besides: Any hairtransplant is avout vanity and per definition "unneccesary". If the OP wants to go from approx. NW1.5 to a "hair model" and he has the funds (and not further loss is expected)...why not do it? He made his homework, went to a good clinic. He looks better than before IMO. Some more backgroudn Info would be nice like age etc.

Finasteride Possible Side Effects ?
Gasthoerer replied to jooeey's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
This has been discussed a thousand times. Especially the first one (cancer) is a misquote from the studies. Most studies actually showed a reduction in prostate cancer. -
If you think that Jackmann and Efron are part or "your" group, you totally miss my point. Further discussion does not make any sense, as you do not understand the "look" I am referring to. Let us stop here: You are in a hairloss forum and think it is not that important. I am in a hairloss forum and think it one of the most important features for looks. Agree to disagree.

Wow, you know nothing about women^^ According to you, my flatemates (!) in university told me that they like James Franco (just an example) to not offend me? They told me about brunet men, blond men, tall men, sporty ones, nerdy ones, big d.cks, short d.cks etc. but not about "action heroes" or doormans?Really? There are for sure some women attracted to the Vin Diesel types. There is a matching piece for everyone. You mostly find this women in dedicated fitness studios or clubs. I used to know a couple of women like that. But I guess the major reason that these guys are famous is, that boys (!) who watch action movies like them. Most women I know laugh about these guys and/or find them disgusting. One the other hand: The ones I mentioned a fancied by million (actually billion) of women from any age all over the world and their hair is a major part of that. And the most important part: Besides this type of men not being attractive to women (in my social environment), most men cannot get this bulky without roids. And then I prefer FIN and my hair. And many men cannot grow an nice beard either. Summary and my last word is: The comment "Just grow a beard, get tanned and bulk up" is both, wrong and insulting.

They never said that, but I always imagined that. I understand that, but it is misleading nonsense, sorry. Do you really think that all women (girls) I have been with in highschool, at university, my former female flatemates and my exgirlfriends are part of a big conspiracy? They can tell me that they like Jake Gyllenhaal, Joseph Gordon Levitt, James Franco, Ryan Gosling or George Clooney (who all have nice hair by the way) but secretely the are dreaming about Vin Diesel and Jason Statham? Seriously? That is what you belive?

Personally I do not like the personal attacks going on in this thread. But this quote is just nonsense. Nothing more to say. -
I like all the mentioned clinics. The latter is not well known here, and I recommend not to trust anyone (not even me^^). Have a look at alopezie.de (german forum). Unfortunately you have to register to see the results, but there are plenty of hattingen, bisanga and feriduni cases posted by clients.

Well, I can't grow a beard. And I cannot rock the "action hero look" which is always advertised here. Also, non of the girls I ever (!) dated is interested in the Vin Diesel, Jason Statham look. And I'm guess I am not the only one! This is really a terrible advice for most balding people. How many women would fancy Jake Gyllenhaal without hair. Decide yourself: Celebrity Hair l Parsa Mohebi

My FUT at Dr. Feriduni in November 2016
Gasthoerer replied to Hasselt's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Have you tried some other Hairstyles, yet? Sidepart? Slick Back? You have sth to Play with now ;-) -
There is a chance for growth but it is slim. I think that you had some growth, also behind the hairline, but it is less than I would expect from 2800 FUT grafts. Did you contact the clinic already? Would be interesting to see, if the hair which we see is "new" or "old" hair.

Mmh, my post seems to be dissapeard. Maybe I had some trigger words in it. I second the belgium clinic mentione above. There is also Hattingen in Switzerland, who were FUT only for many years and do great FUT work even though the clinic is not mentioned in this Forum often. In Canada H&W and Rahal could be Options. In the US: Konoir, Arocha and Feller&Bloxham come to my mind.
-
You did the right step: You came to this Forum. Now, take your time and look for better clinics then bosley. Take 6 month to look into FUT results. Then you will see it yourself. My recommendations: - Europe: Hattingen (they are not big in this Forum, but they are FUT specialists), Feriduni, Devroye, Bisanga - Canada: H&W, Rahal - US: Konoir, Feller&Bloxham There are many more better than Bosley. But do not (!) believe me, learn it youself in this and other Forums.

Dr Resul Yaman - 4300 Grafts - October 2017
Gasthoerer replied to DreadPirateRoberts's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Yes, I have seen it and also gave an example of a similar case (low hairline, good donor, even older in age) where 2 out of 3 clinics gave a different recommendation. Myself. Seriously? Almost everyone who has hairloss gets a hairline higher that his natural one. And here we are talking about severe hair loss at a young age. The only questions is: How much hair of the hairline is left. No, I never said that. Many people say that a low hairline doesn’t look well at higher age. I do not (!) agree with this. I say: The risk to benefit ratio is just poor. You gain little benefit and risk an open crown and/or thin donor. I am from Europe and do not have an issue with the metric system but: 5.5 cm is low and more important the a length in cm is the 1/3 rule. This is one is below, hence it is aggressive. Well, you are saying it yourself: There is no big benefit (I like to add: particular when you are older) in a very low hairline. Then why go for a low one? And 1000 grafts is a lot! If you have only body or beard left to fill the crown you need +2000 body hair grafts to replace the missing grafts. That is huge and not only financially. And with such an strong loss at his age it happens easily that he needs more: What if FIN stops to work? What if he has poor growth (happens to any clinic)? Summary: I do not say this will be a bad result or bad looking. Not at all. I just say that it is a risky path. If it works out (and it looks like that, but it is early), great. But it is worth discussiong the risk especially for other patients who read this thread.
