Usually I am not that outspoken, but: Get your things together. You have the best hair in the entire forum and there are people halve your age (literally) with much worse hair. I know (hair)problems are relative but show some grace. Your hair ist not like it was at 15 but still great. The only right thing to do is continue the meds (like anyone suggested) and wait for a full year. Then (if still nessesary) you can go to a top clinic who is specialised for FUE in hairlines. In the meantime, forget about it.

Thank you for your Story! The works look really clean and I have seen some good results from Kaan. Questions: - Does he use the same unique extraction method as Keser? - Which clinic did your first OP (This would be a rather poor result of them and actually some belgium clinic are on my top list)

28 Yr Frontal Transplant (~2100 Graft) 8 Months
Gasthoerer replied to Speran28's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Please read my post if you quote it: I never spoke about growth, I was refering to planted grafts. Also I disagree that he had only 20 % growth. The primary issue is, that far to few grafts were planted. That is actually good news, because: a) Easy to proof from the pictures b) Not more grafts wasted c) You might have a good chance when sueing (maybe the clinic mentioned the graft # somewhere in the papers) Poor growth is much worse (and I think there is a secondary issue here too, but not 20 %): a) Wasted grafts which you never get back b) Hard to proof why it happend and who is responsible (even the best clinics have results with poor growth). c) In case you sue, due to b) y?u have little chance -
Dr Resul Yaman - 4300 Grafts - October 2017
Gasthoerer replied to DreadPirateRoberts's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
I took pic 3 (frontal) as a reference. The forhead is significantly lower than the 1/3 rule. -
Dr Resul Yaman - 4300 Grafts - October 2017
Gasthoerer replied to DreadPirateRoberts's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Aggressive is the common term for a low/youthfull hairline. Hard to tell from the pics, but it appears as if the center point is below the 1/3 rule mark. This would be very aggressive, cost a lot of grafts (which a young fellow might need for later) and might even look weird when beeing older. -
Not much to discuss. You just have to weather it out... I wish you the best.

Dr Resul Yaman - 4300 Grafts - October 2017

Thank you for your post. I personally think that it Looks like clean work but the hairline is very aggresive. Did you discuss hte hairline with the clinic? Was it your wish or theirs? -
28 Yr Frontal Transplant (~2100 Graft) 8 Months
Gasthoerer replied to Speran28's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
There is one good thing in this. If much less than the promised were planted, you wasted less of your precious donor at a bad clinic. Furthermore, if you just count the # of grafts you can user this as a measure for the refund (50 % of grafts approx. 50 % of refund). Good luck! -
Puhh, difficult decision. I have seen some good looking cases from him recently. Also, I believe in "second chances" for anyone. But on the other hand: he has done tremendous and permanent harm to many patients. Was it lazyness? Was it creed? As he showed good results before, it clearly was not a "lack of knowledge" or a training phase. Who guarantees that it will not happen again? Honestly, it is hard to say yes in this one.

Interesting case. Hoepfully there will be further improvment from the 7 months mark. However: If you look at the sturcture of the hair it appears to me that there is still way to come. Hair looks this and wiry (very common after HAT). Also intersting: As you can see the facial structure the hairline appreas to be quite aggresive (directly at the 1/3 mark) and a little assymetric (the latter could be an illusion as the head is not straigt up in the pic).

Is anyone really informed about finasteride & prostate cancer?
Gasthoerer replied to justgotfue's topic in Hair Loss Drugs
My understanding is: - FIN reduces the risk for prostate cancer - However, detection of prostate cancer is more difficult - Hence, risk for more severe cancer increases As a result you should let your physician know that you take FIN when you go for a test. -
Ok, here is my advice: Only come one more time to this forum (at the 12 month mark for the sake of the forum). Your hair looks perfect and you should not waste your time here but enjoy your hair. Congratulations to you and both clinics (Keser and Lupanzula)!

Dr. Hasson - FUE - 2650 grafts - April 7, 2017
Gasthoerer replied to Arminius's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Just put you in my TOP HAT result Folder (there are not many FUE results in). Congratulations for your result. I doubt that anyone on the street can see that you had a HAT from the hairline or the donor. Maybe a little on the temples, but you really wearing the hair short. You can really Sport the buss down look but I guess you will attract totally different women with both styles ;-) -
5000 grafts FUE - 13th/14th December - Asmed Dr Erdogan
Gasthoerer replied to DEB1982's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Congratulations to your result. Also incredible how short you Sport your hair in the donor region. Of course scars are visible, but I gues the average Joe will not recognize that These are from a transplant. If you decisde for a more "conservative" hair style, you should have some donor grafts left for later. Enjoy you hair! -

Multi Unit Hair Grafting Procedure
Gasthoerer replied to Researchinghelp's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Any updates so far? Hope you are doing better (and sue the shit out of them)... I have no idea how this clinic get away with this. Maybe they just have good lawyers... Anyway the entire Homepage seems suspect (compared to a Standard clinic) and to fly the surgeon in is never a good thing. I really wonder why there is no Feedback from the mods (who could contact Dr. Beehner who obviously is the "teacher" of this butcher). -
Sorry to be that harsh, but this is hair greed nonsense. The proportions are perfect. Lowering the hairline would make it worse now, and would make it much worse when you are old. Your hair is great, enjoy. As soon as the temple colour blends in your Situation is perfect.
-
? On non of your pictures, I can see the difference. You look like you have a full head of hair. It is very common for many people without hair loss that the temple triangles are little thinner. What you can see is that there is a slight difference in colour.

Thank you. I like that case with older (sorry) patients. It shows all the 20 year olds out there that you still care. You care in any age! Just one question: 2.0 FU or hair per mm2 ? 80 FU / cm2 is somehow average. 2.0 FU / mm2 would sound very high.

Again, thank you for the answers and the follow up. Much appreciated. I think this discussion will help many (future) patients in their decision making.

Round 2 with Rahal -- 1204 FUT to frontal third (same area)
Gasthoerer replied to Ernie's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
That is an unreal result and one of the main reasons why I considering FUT. You are actually someone who can pull of the shaved look but (like anyone else) with hair your Looks improve dramatically. My status is much better than yours was and I would be happy with a result half of yours. Wish you the best that the remaining hair is stable.- 94 replies
