  1. Dr. Bloxham, are you serious with this answer? So the three forces will not apply for small sessions and/or when going slow? In this case 99 % growth would be the norm for you? Much ado about nothing? (Cause if you find a solution for 100 grafts there are simple solutions for 1000 as well). It is again very hard to align this with what Dr. Feller (and you) have stated in this very thread before.
  2. Yes, this is a big plus. A lot of women go this way (FUT with partial shaving) for very similiar reasons.
  3. Dr. Bloxham, At first I have to apologize. You are absolutely right about point 5. It wasn’t your clinic who posted this result. My mistake! The rest of your post is unfortunately not addressing any (!) of my points. So either you do not understand the questions (which were asked from several other members as well as Dr. Lupanzula) or you simply can’t (or do not want to) answer them.
  4. That is not true: Two FUE clinics came. How many FUT clinics joined the discussion?
  5. Dr. Feller, Dr. Bloxham, (bverotti), mikeyhwk made a point which I also addressed before. I really liked the content from “the letter video” as it summed up most of the points which were discussed before in these long discussions. You even added one point (transection during strip) which was, as far as I know, only briefly discussed in the mFUE thread between Dr. Bloxham and myself. But actually, I am not 100 % sure how serious the post was, which you were reading. If I am right and bverotti made some absurd statements just to make use of Dr. Fellers words and twist them around: I think this is really borderline in ethics, as he acts as a clinic representive (and some users could see his post as a fact). This is not a drama class with points for creative writing; it is a serious topic for many people here. On the other hand: Dr. Feller/Bloxham, you are calling a lot of other clinics unethical for using FUE. You are also not speaking here as forum users, but as experts and even consider your opinion as facts. In this case other rules than to normal forum user have to be applied for you as well. Put this into perspective, it is unethical to me to (using our own words): 1) Post random (=always changing) growth rates of FUE (and FUT) 2) Not answering with clarification after being questioned about this numbers several times 3) Not backing them up with facts or not answering the serious questions to the few poor data which were given 4) Answer in another thread with an offensive video and title after finally another clinic had joined the discussion (who raised similar questions). 5) Post “results” of a hollywood actor, who never admitted to have surgery, to promote FUT. You cannot know if he had FUE or FUT and on top he is probably using concealers/topic/partial wig etc. on this picture as it is from the Oscars event. 6) Not answering serious questions about negative aspects of FUT at all (like thinning in the donor) or even giving misleading answers. 7) Connect “damaged grafts” with existence of FUE clinics in the US By the way: In one of your “strip scars” videos the strip can be easily recognized from far distance, just by the color contrast and hair directions. No need to comb though. This is exactly the reason, why many people are afraid of FUT. Most of us know that strip is superior to FUE in growth. But we (or at least I) want to make our own mind, based on facts and to weight “growth vs. stigma”. I know, what now is going to happen: Dr. Feller is going to claim, that I am a laymen (just like he did with mikeyhwk and all other before that) and we cannot understand it or that he doesn't want to debate with us. But instead Dr. Feller/Dr. Bloxham, why don’t you just answer the questions? It is notthing personal, but we can understand the math without running a clinic ourselves. And we want to decide for ourselves if X-percent better growth in average is worth a strip scar or not.
  6. Actually, you don't look terrible. Many untrained eyes would not even see that this is the results of a hairtranspant. Just Google "Steph Curry hair" and you will see his hair in the back looks similiar to yours (just from his hair characteristics). Anyhow, it appears that the clinic went very low to your nape this might be causing your issue especially when you wear your hair that short. Solution for me: Just wear it a little longer. No one will see it. If you for any reason have to have it that short. Wait 12 month and go for SMP in the scars. Good luck and please do not make yourself to much of an headache.
  7. I do not agree often with HLS2015, but in this case I do. Personally, I am only aware of one clinic producing somehow decent results with the Artas. And the logical answer is: Door 3. If you do not feel compfortable with both clinics go on with your search.
  8. I am not an expert on Asien hair but Overall it Looks good. However the sides look already a littel thin but again, Asien hair is different. How Dr. Diep could recommend you an lower hairline than this is beyond me given your Age an loss pattern, and I am glad that you didn't go this route. I wish you all the best and hope you grow well and do not lose much more (even though I doubt it ).
  9. Dr. Feller as you came up with it, I would appreciate if you could answer my request for clarification for the sake of education of the forum members. Well, I have a hard time understanding your new comment as well. Where does this 85 % come from? A study or guessing from your side? What does it mean? In 15 % of all patients FUE grafts are as healthy as FUT grafts? Is assume that is not black and white, but there is a big grey area (where grafts are only slightly/partly worse with FUE to FUT), or am I misled? And how do US doctors (or yourself) give information about “damaged grafts” with FUE if the damage is unvisible according to your words? You just guess a number? Or you tell before an average number? If so, which number do you give? I also fail to understand what this has to do with FUE mills in the US. There are no FUE mills cause technicans aren’t allowed to do the majority of the work. Thank you for clarification.
  10. Sorry, I didn't want to involve before I had my 2nd assessment with the clinic which recommended FUE to me and ask the questions we have discussed forth and back. But I have to step in here. For the record: Dr. Feller, do you say that there is typically (!) no (long term) donor thinning with strip? If yes, pleas explain how this is mathematically possible. And yes, I am well aware that thinning with FUE is much worse. That is not my point. But there has to be donor thinning with strip or donor area has to shrink 1:1 with the width of the strip and the recipient has to enlarge. The latter was partly denied by you before if I remember correctly.
  11. Wow, I feel with you. The orgiginal transplant looks awful, and the clinic/surgeon needs to be punished for this. You deserve much more than a refund. He clearly had less of an idea what he was doing than an average fourm member here (e. g. in terms of hairline design). However, your new transplant looks good and you seems to have great hair characteristics. I wish you the best and please keep us updated. Grow well!
  12. Interesting, was this a FUT or FUE (Same for the first procedure)? My assumption would be FUT regarding your history here ;-) For me this (depending on the first procedure) would be a classical FUE fix. Anyway, this should be shown to anyone here below 30 who thinks "I will not care about my hair when I am old". You get old pretty fast and yes, you still care.
  13. Thank you for sharing your story. I am feeling with you. The result is unfortunately very poor: - Poor growth - Poor Scar That is the risk with FUT: High chances for a better result than FUE but a fail is a big fail. I think we need post op pics (immediately after surgery) to see if to few grafts were planted of if you just had poor growth. Personally I think 2100 should be more than you have right now (=poor growth). Anyway, the hair looks as you will see slight improvment of the hair qualitiy but it doesn't look as you could expect much more growth. All the best!
  14. Actually it looks quite good. Why are you so disappointed?
  15. Ok, I went to your first thread as well. Nice coverage of all stages (the ups and downs). What I found the most impressive: - It looked so natural after the first procedure - Now it looks fuller but before it was just as natural (men in his 40s with very mild loss vs. men with no loss). How comes? Is this skill of the surgeon or your fine hair with the right color. Especially very dark, thick hair (like main) gives great coverage but appears always "artheficial" when slicked back. If I would look as natural as you, I would pull the trigger immediately.
  16. Interesting! Quite a low graft count for Erdogan. Do you have pics from the donor with the short cut? Grow well!
  17. I have been to three consultations with recommend doctors in the same area: One charged 0, one 200, one 100 €. The best was the second whoch costed 200 €, as the doctor took the most time to look at the donor and measure it, make pictures (which were send to me) and look at pictures from my relatives. Second best was the third for 100 €. If I go to any (!) dorctor I pay much more / minute for a consultation. Why should a hair clinic consulation be for free? Most patients will not have surgery afterwards or go to another clinic so it is fair to pay for the time you had consumed. Just like for any other service you ask for.
  18. Sorry, I do not want to make this into a FUE vs. FUT discussion but: The main longterm reasons to go for FUE or FUT: - You do not want a Strip scar - You are stripped out or cannot have FUT to skin laxitiy to begin with The short term benefit is the possibility to be in representable position much faster. But this should be not a decision maker IMO. Summary: You already have a Strip scar. One major advantage of FUE is already lost. If you are not stripped out, go FUT (unless we are not talking about << 1000 grafts repair). If you are stripped out, go with a FUE specialist. Good luck!
  19. You have a great result, that is what matters. Full and natural looking, nothing more to wish for. About the thinning, I made my statement cause I do not want People to get a wrong idea. The facts are there, now everybody can make his own mind about it.
  20. Of course you are talking about the remaining donor. But the rest of the Skalp has to stretch exactly as much as the amount of skin you are cutting out. Hence, density = amount of gratfs / cm2 is going down = thinning. Of course it is distributed more equally than FUE so effect is much less visible. But it has to thin.
  21. Please enlighten me how this is possible? If you take out grafts and skin, the remaining skin has to stretch. That is why, you feel thighness afterwards and laxitiy is required from begin with. And if you stretch the remaining skin and the number if follicles remain the same it has to thin, isn't it? Or does the skull somehow shrink? Sorry, for missing the important part: It looks amazing. Congratulations.
  22. Are you sure it is just that? Did you ask the clinic? Do not want to scare you, but could be negrosis. It was there from the begin with, so hard to tell. Rest Looks clean an nice. Good luck.
  23. Just found this while lurking around. Very Interesting: Dr. Keser is well known in the biggest german Forum. He is praised as one of the best for hairlines (nice design and more for less grafts), but the stories are that he is very conservative and picky with his Clients. Doesn't quite match this Feedback here...
  24. Put this very intersting case back to the top! We hope you will share some results. Grow well !
  25. Non of these guys (well maybe Bryner) look any good to me and most important: Non of These guys looks any good to a single Girl I have ever dated. These are very specific type of men for very specific type of women. No option for me at all.
