  1. I have to agree with Legend. It appears to be at least partly a density issue caused by too few grafts planted. You will probably see futher improvement, but maybe not enough. Why don't you measure the area and divide by 1200 FU? Then you know for sure. If Legend and me are right this is the best outcome of a bad transplant you can have: No wasted grafts and easily fixed with a touch up transplant. Wait for some month and then decide. Another point: The hair behind you hairline looks thin as well. Are you on meds? If not, I recommend to consider FIN as otherwise I see bigger problems down the road.
  2. I like the work from Konior and I like the limited work I have seen from his protege Nadimi. But: I have to say that I think 2000 FU is very low for the goal you mentioned (frontal third and mid scalp). The approach from Nadimi/Konior propobly doesn't allow more than that, but I still would try to get another opinion from a clinic who does more FUE in a single session. Also, I would try to get a pre-op consult with the recipient drawn on your head. Just to make sure, that in the end you are not disappointed. At the day of the surgery, everyone is very nervous and it is hard to make a objective judgment.
  3. Personally I believe that one important point is missed: This is a big case not a small hairline fine tuning. Clinics like Konior, Keser, Heißtmann, Lupanzula etc. cannot do such a big case in a single day. Most would even require several session over month/years. There is also an advantage in using techs especially for such a huge case.
  4. That is a little unfair. The OP was afraid due to the "crust and islands" he had and asked if that is a mistake of the clinic. He also believed that would not have happend with a "do all be the surgeon" approach" like Konior. I gave him an example of a Konior (FUT) case which much worse (!) crusts and islands but very good results. If that doesn't help to calm down, what will help him? I cannot change his experience at ASMED.
  5. I would really like to see the plan for a NW5 wth 2000 FU. Seems really a low # of FU even with an open crown.
  6. 1) Haha, this is really poor math. Which school have you been on? Just because there are two options it doesn't mean the odds are 50/50. 2) Clearly a lie, as you were referring to all (!) clinics and like the second quote from you shows: "... the type of characters ..." it was not a job description. 3) Again a lie. The second time you adressed me (!) directly after our dispute about your "goat hurder" comment. I do not have a bald spot and I did not had work done. It was clearly a nasty comment about hairloss in a hairloss forum. Mikehawk called you out, as it was the second time you did sth like that. 4) You are a liar, a racist and a troll: Yes, I do not like either one. And I do call out people for beeing just that, especially when they pretend they are here "to help and educate".
  7. You do not have any post up or donor pictures? Not even from the clinic? There should be always pics from a reputable clinic (pre, intra and post op). I do not want to scare you. Of course, you can still have a good result. And if it is too thin, you can make a small touch up. But this behavior of the clinic (if true) would still be unacceptable.
  8. 1. Of course you made your initital thread to warn other. If you just decided against a transplant yourself, why make a thread about it? Want some proof? Here is what you (!) have written: "... and my post is to inform people the stark reality before jumping into to something thats going to need years of saving and commitment" or "Thats all it is a chance a pure gamble it's like putting all ur money on red or black on a roulette machine". Even the mods (Melvin) complained about that: "...now it sounds like a warning from someone who hasn't undergone surgery in the first place. Very strange,...". 2. Also, your are clearly using racist language and your were called out by Jean, Mikehawk and myself for it. Again some comments from yourself about technicians in turkey as a proof: "... don't let some goat hurder or sheep shearer near your head". "Again the word goat hurder and sheep shearer ... (is) a mere example or the type of characters that have been found in these clinics...". 3. You are also at least twice made nasty comments about the hair loss of other people in a hair loss forum: "...how's your bald spot coming along?!". Why would anyone want advice from someone like you (a liar, a racist and someone who makes fun about bald people)?
  9. Thank you for your report. There are not many patient reports with the ARTAS. But honestly: You have a really positive demeanor. If what you say is true this is unbelivable and unacceptable behavior from the clinic. If the machine is broken or they think it is not working propoerly, they should not (!) perform a procedure on a client. 500 of 2000 dissected grafts is also an unacceptable huge number. Hopefully, the root is still ok, and graft is still grwoning in the donor. I would contact the clinic. They should have inspected the grafts and should be able to tell you what kind of dissection appeared. 2000 slits and 1500 grafts is also not acceptable, sorry. 500 scars for nothing and a thinner result? Furthermore: Do you have pre-op pics? 1500 grafts for this area seems low if there wasn't a lot of remaining hair. Pics from the donor would also be nice, cause ARTAS donors look always...diferrent. That the assistants cut your hair too short is just the (negative) icing on the cake.
  10. It is the classic approach: Say: "I do not want to ... but then just do it." Your old thread was clearly intentend to put people off. Racist people do the same nowadays. "I am no no racist, but .... " Followed by a bunch of racist crap. Well, that also fits you, right? I still remember that racist stuff from you too. You can change your dress but it is still you.
  11. That is not true. You have tried to put everyone off a transplant. You actually made a complete tread about it. There are many results with people above 50 having a transplants for years or having a transplant after getting 50. At a certain age it is just more comon to have thinner hair and to see some scalp and grey hair will reduce the issue at least for pale people. It is stil much better than beeing completly bald.
  12. If you do strip with Rahal, there is nothing to worry about (I am not saying with FUE there is). But at least 2-3 Rahal FUT are under my top 10 results ever.
  13. No answer from op =no interest How can you do research and end up with this clinic?
  14. Why don't you search the FUE results of H&W in this forum?
  15. Is all the hair on top of you hair transplanted?
  16. There is a tool from Erdogan/Lorenzo to calculate this number. You find explanation at youtube. If you are asien, most likely you have less donor capacity but you also need less as hair is typically thicker. Doubling the hair diameter equals 4 times the number of grafts.
  17. Wow, nice result and it is still early. 3 month results were nice already. Difficult case too, with very dark and coarse hair on fairly light Skin. You should be very happy.
  18. By the way: Under this link you will find a Konior result (FUT) with similiar (actually worse) cracks. Konior said this is normal too. This was not the case I was looking for, but it seems it is really common. Intermediate result looks great despite much worse crusts then the OP had.
  19. I know the waiting game is hard, but isn't it a little early to discuss lawsuits and all? a) Erdogan has top notch results, foreigners or not, in this very forum and on many other forums b) Every clinic has bad results (and we do not even know if this is going to be a bad result) c) If I remember right, there is a Konior case in here with exactly the same crusts and gaps after a couple of days like discussed at page 1 d) Day 0 pics look good in my opinion. Just wait 2 more month and then start to worry. There is nothing you can do now anyway. And the same for some other users: Please do not make the poor guy crazy when he is the most vulnerable.
  20. When you did research let me ask the questions: Why did you decide for your clinic? Did you see many great results posted by actual patients? Do you know who is doing you surgery? Do you already have a plan regarding design and required grafts? If the answer to one of your question is "no" and/or the answer for the first is "price" then you have not done enough research.
  21. Great result! Very natural! And a diffcult case too with that type of crown thining. Do you have pictures of the scar?
  22. Great result. The issue with the darker hair on the sides is barely noticable with this length and it might even improve further.I doubt that anyone outside of a hair forum would recognize it. The rest looks amazingly natural (even the waves of the longe hair look perfect) and like a full head of hair. 9.5 out of 10 at the minimum from my point of view. I recommend that you do not spend more time on hair transplant forums but just enjoy your hair.
  23. This is a very difficult case to assess. Why? 1. The patient clearly has sign of loss in the midscalp and propably requires further procedures considering his age. 2. The hairline is very straight and very low, which can be considered very aggresive. 3. It appears that a very small # of grafts has been taken for the are treated. 4. The result looks stunning (how can you say otherwise?), especially considering #2 and #3, but (!), more pictures from different angles are required (especially close ups from the temples). Also more information (area treated etc.) would help. Summary: - Is it an aggresive (low, straight hairline) or conservative case (low ä of FU) ? I do not know... - Is it a great result of just a picture taken from a great angle with nice lightning? No one knows... Are you sure the # of grafts is correct?
  24. L0ke, Just to make sure: The pics shown are all before and after 2nd surgery (FUT). FUE was performed afterwards, but not shown in this post, right? Overall I have to say, that the plan looked good (FUT cause there was already a scar, design of hairline, concentration on front and bridge,...). Work looks clean as well. But the result is not there. What is hard to tell from the pictures: Is there (only) bad growth or is the recipient hair also miniaturized? In the last pic of Feriduni/L0ke it appears that also hair diameter is reduced. But there was an earlier pic by gentle_man where it looked ok and "just" missing density. 2nd point which is not clear yet to me: From Feriduni's presentation it appears that FUT was "more succesfull" than the FUE. From the impression of gentle_man (the pics he gave) it appears the FUE was (relatively) better. Would be great to see one post/presentation from start (before 2nd surgery) to end of the journey (after +6 month after 3rd surgery). I wish the patient strength and all the best.
