  1. 1. Well, sorry that my language skills cause you so many trouble. So far no one had an issue, but maybe it was really the effect of my "c" not working properly yesterday. 2. You misquote me: I mentiond only Konior which I assumed no one has seen enough reports. 3. I doubt that there are 20 patient (!) reports of Konior FUE in here. Even then: Add 1 - 2 bad results and this would directly equal 5-10 % failure rate. That is much worse than the failure rate from most top clinics. Hence my conclusion: The statistics do not allow to make the assumptions you are taking. That is why math is better than stomache feel. 4. If you write it like that I have no issue. It is your opinion which I respect. You can like a BMW or a Mercedes more, that doesn't make one of the superior to the other. I do not like the hairlines of Hattingen, but I still recommend them regulary for strip in europe. 5. I never denied that it is peer revied. But I have revied many papers myself and I know reviewed doesn't mean "without failure" or "top level". Like mentione by Jean there is data available which suggest this data of Beehner is poor. Do not misunderstand me. I believe (!) that strip has higher yield in general. And I would be happy to know how big the difference is before I make a decision about my crown. But the where serious questions regarding the Beehner paper. This where serious questions and much more than just "it wasn't the magic dr. X who perform the surgery" as you suggest. No one (!) could answer these questions. If you can I would be pleased. Some questions again: - Why is the yield of strip so low in this paper ( 86 % and that is without considering transected grafts in the donor)? Is it realistic? - Was a motorized fully rotating punch (!) used and did this effect growth from FUE. For me this was one of the biggest issues. - Which holding solution was used and under which temperature were the grafts kept - The author and the reviewer obviously do not understand the difference beween % and %-points. As the claim 24.6 % different but it is 29 % (24.6 % points). Are the further errors in math? - If the surgeon had almost no FUE experience (<80 prcoedures in 9 years) could this affect the survival rate? - ... many more ... By the way: There are many (!) clinics performing FUE and FUT who say yield is almost similar. We had this dicussion before. I think we actually are not that far apart in our opinions as it appears.
  2. Great result! Dense and very natural. But also a quite big number of grafts. Donor looks untouched though.
  3. Life changing! Great result in terms of design of the hairline, Overall plan and final outcome. The butcher who performed the first procedures should be tarred and feathered.
  4. 1/3/5 I have just not seen enough result of Konior, Freitas or Kouto to make this a statement of real worth. And for Konior I think no one has seen more than a handfull of reports. I have seen bad results of Lorenzo though, but he has signifikantly more reports online. 2. Let us not diskuss Lorenzo hairlines, it is a non topik. I have never heard this komplains about Kouto or Freitas but I have heard them about Diep. --> All have a lot of klients with extremely thik hair by the way. 3. This is just your opinion, but you state it as a fakt. We had a diskussion of around 300 pages with Feller/Bloxham and they kould not bring a peer revied publikation, outside of the beehner studies (I do not remember if they were peer revied). But there where serious flaws in this studies, highlighted by many user and surgeons. And Feller and Bloxham Kould never answer this questions. Remarkable was amongst others: the very poor strip (!) yield, the mix up of % and %-point, or (most likely) the fully rotating punh. The latter would be a big no go and has nothing to do with the wrong surgent performing the proedure. It is just bad work. Summary: If you bring some researh, we are all happy to read it. We really do. But so far no one (!) not even Feller/Bloxham found sth. Sorry, my "zee" is not working^^
  5. Very good post and very helpful for anyone in the waiting phase. Tremendous improvement after 5 month. At the Moment there is a lot of pani in the Forum.
  6. Agree with Jean. It is hard to detect now, and with a few mm longer hair, no one is going to see it. Just sit it out. It has fadded so quick already. Not to say: Name the "artist" who has done it and never set a foot in there again.
  7. Wow, that is an aggresive regime! I do not think, that I have seen a more aggresive one before. Did it completely stop the loss? I do not have the balls for DUT or RU, yet. FIN slowed down my loss a lot, but didn't stopped it. But unlike you, I started way to late with FIN otherwise I would not be here. Unfortunately, no one tells you about FIN, not even a GP or dermatologist.
  8. Looking good. Some close ups would be great though. Are you on meds?
  9. 1. Please watch the thread I linked. That will answer this question. 2. Yes, there would be blood, but after 7 days it is highly unlikely to happen
  10. In the US and Canada: Konior, Baubac, Rahal would be my choice for most natural hairlines. Biggest difference: Involvement of techs is much bigger with Rahal.
  11. It happens very often. Still you should try to moisture the recipient and clean it within the next days. I am sure you got post op instructions from the clinic.
  12. In my opinion the is one thing to consider while judging this results: The intact hairline which is normally a good thing, might also have a negative impact as well in this particular case. The hairline is very low for such an high degree of balding, much more aggresive than a "transplanted" hairline, would have been if remeining hair would have been spread all over the head. As a result there is an enormous area to cover. I assume much bigger than most people with similiar amount of loss.
  13. Of course you can. You can even do it with a NW2 or maxbe even NW2.5. I have seen people try this look with a NW3. You could also do it with a wig ;-)
  14. Sorry, that you are dissapointed and of course anyone who goes through that process, knows how stressfull that is. I am at 3 month and 3 weeks and it is so exhausting to wait and look at your hair and beg it to grow. It is a great idea to talk to the clinic, but I would highly recommend to post solid pictures before (!) to get some objective feedback from the forum. You can also show this feedback to the clinic. If the result is as bad as you describe it, I do not have a thought that the clinic offers you a touch-up. But you are a great candidate for HT with minimal loss so far. You should discuss the reason for the result with your clinic first. They have an internal rating for grafts and also how the surgery went.
  15. I assume you can find a lot of things at yelp and linkedin. Probably also Genghis Khan.
  16. Simple questions: Just FUE vs. FUT, Best surgeon and the world formula ;-)
  17. There are more and more odd threads in this forum... I looked at the very beginning of this thread. This is a NW5+ case with thin donor and retrograde alopcia. There is a high probability, that this (at least partly) contributed to a result less dense than desired. Just having a second procedure with the same clinic because it is for free will not solve this issues. I would have recommended to wait and evaluate also with other clinics. Even if it is just to get a 2nd opinion. And I say this with all respect cause so far I did not look into results from Yaman and do not know if he is good or bad. Anyway: Good luck.
  18. Javier, I said it before and I say it again: It is impossible to follow your story! How many surergies did you have? How long was the period in between? Which clinics did you visit in between? In addition to this information, please give a proper timeline with pictures (before, after and intra op). Then we might be able to guide you. So far you entire story makes no sense (repair/refund after 3 month), and as soon as someone (like Jean) gives you a direction you change your story. It appears like you want us to tell you that you made the right decision with this clinic. That is not the way it works. What I can tell you so far: The way you have chosen your last clinic was wrong, period. Good luck.
  19. Had the same feeling, but I personally try to rationalize it and there is no actual reason for that. There are quite some users complaining even before 3 month are reached recently (ASMED, Feriduni). They also make users with bad results repost their bad results and they dig for even more bad results from their clinic. I think that will give the impression that it is going bad.
  20. It is supposed to be the best time now (cause it will get better from here on), but I am also at 3.5 month and actually it is the worst time. You know it should happen right now and you look in the mirror like "where is the f....ing growth". I wish you the best. By the way: Your donor pic looks like you want to hide a strip scar ;-)
  21. It is really difficult to follow you story and your timeline. If you seek help here in this forum, you should provide more pics including a timeline. Sorry for beeing so blunt. I am also in the waiting phase (3.5 month post op) and now how stressfull this is. If you think you have an infection and you have swelling in the recipient after 4 month, go to a clinic immediately. Best would be to a recommended hair clinic from this site (check who is close and call), but if there is a waiting time go to a dermatologist or at least your general GP. Do not wait!
  22. You are going in circles and driving yourself crazy. Everything is fine. Just wait and relax.
  23. Payam, Obviously I am not in the position to defend ASMED, as I never have been there myself. But are you sure, that all surgeries start at the same time and on top all surgeries last equally long? Typically, hairline and pre-op consultation is with the dr. This alone will create a time delay. Also, there are small and big cases. When extractions are finsihes for one case, they will continou in another case (even when started at the same time). The clinics also typically plan smaller and bigger surgeries in a way that there is no delay and waiting during teh day. Example: My own (very small surgery) was in the early morning. Next patient (mid sized case) arrived later and his surgery started when implantation was ongoing for me. Why do I tell this? You are still waiting for your result (and everyone is nervous in that case) and you will have to interact with your clinic in future. Especially when it is a result below your expactations. If you give wrong inform (I am not saying you do!) in here, this will make future "cooperation" difficult. Sorry, for the lack of better words.
  24. Thanks for beeing so open. In my opinion it is very difficult to judge your case, without pictures of the first surgery. Also, like I said: Your current pics are a little blurry. On top: Feriduni's pre OP pics typically make the hair look better than they are. But: I can see some progress in your timeline and if the hair we have seen before the surgery is healthy transplanted hair from the first surgery, I think you will get a great result. If this is your native hair, further loss could combensate further growth. You frontal picture looks like a full head of hair already. Understandable that you are disheartened: I am at 3.5 month and even though it is a small case, I am getting crazy myself. Nevermind that I tell everyone else to relax until month 6-7...if it happens to you, your mind betrays you. My next step would be also in the crown with a lot of remeining hair like you. Therefore I am think about implanter pen.
