  1. So it's been over a year since I had my transplant with Dr. Panine. I had just over 700 grafts put into my crown. The results came out great! Especially for only 700. I just had a one year follow up. Stewart and Dr. Panine we're both very supportive and helpful throughout the past year. I know I was freaking out in the beginning and Steward assured me it would turn out great. He was right. I couldn't be happier. The first picture is right before the procedure. The next two are one year post. I am also on finasteride daily.
  2. So it's been 4 weeks now. I was doing ok until I took some pics yesterday. My hair looks so much worse than before the procedure. I used to be able to comb it over and you couldn't see any scalp now i have to use concealer. I really wish I could have my pre op hair back and go back and wait. I don't think my balding was that bad. Now it is. Is this normal to look worse? I know I need to be patient but could 700 grafts make it look that much worse. I'll add a pic so you can see my before to now.
  3. I feel like I may have went in to soon. I should have waited till it progressed. My biggest fear is it will be worse. I haven't tried rogaine but should have. I've been on finateride for months now. I believe it was a 0.7 m punch. Could 700 really cause more harm and break me? I'm so stressed thinking about it being worse but know I have to be patient and know I went to a trusted doctor. That's all I can do.
  4. It was harsh lighting but if I didn't comb it forward and over you could def see spots spots in the sun or in fluorescent lighting that's why I panicked and had it done.
  5. This is the day of the procedure. While there Stuart and the dr were both very kind. Panine had confidence and guaranteed that it would look better in the end than before I came.
  6. I have been on propecia for 4 months now and am also using Nizoral twice a week. He has assured me my results will be excellent and to keep taking the drug. I have a pre op photo I will update.
  7. That was with it gelled and combed over the spot. The lighting wasn't as bright there. You're right. That is why I have remorse I should have waited and did it down the road when it's worse. My biggest fear is is triggered it more or it will look worse in 8-12 months
  8. Just read your story/post from your crown procedure. Very impressive. Congrats. I'm hoping for an improvement. Would shock loss already started? Or could it in the next month.
  9. Also does my donor area look normal for day 15? I can still see the square he shaved. It's a lot thinner in there and I have this pain as well as pimple like bumps
  10. Thanks again for all the encouragement it does help. When does the shock loss usually start. I'm going to try concealers and grow the top back out.
  11. Thank you gasthoerer. That's my main concern is it being worse from losing native hairs for good. I'm hoping 700 won't shock to many. I'm still on propecia and should have waited the year like dr Keller suggested.
  12. I will upload one today. My main question is could my transplant look worse in a year than it was before?
  13. I know I should have. I made a huge mistake. My question is could my hair be worse because of it? I just want it to be where it was before I had the procedure done at this point.
