  1. 1300 grafts FUT for this case...This guy must be a butcher. Never go there again. If you have the laxity left, I would recommend another FUT - Hattingen - Hasson and Wong - Feriduni If you decide for FUE, I would go with specialists for diffused thing and use implanter pen or do work by themself - Lorenzo - Freitas - Lupanzula Good luck
  2. You miss the point. First you need a plan and the you look for the right clinic which matches this plan and is within your budget.
  3. Bieber is losing hair himself, no a great comparison 😉 However, some more pics would be great (graft placement, donor etc.), but it is looking good even though pic is a little blurry. Your hairstyle on the first pics is hilarious IMO (even though everyone has a different taste). Swept back it looks much better.
  4. The focus should not be the money (you can discuss this later) but the treatment plan: Distribute the grafts or focus on the front. Without more Info (age, meds, family history, etc.) no one has a chance to advice you which plan is the better one. If the plans are so different between two clinic, I recommend to get a third opinion and consult a clinic F2F. One comment: Regarding hairlines Rahal is easily on the level with H&W IMO.
  5. To make a judgement of the transplant we need clear pre-, intra- and post-OP pics. Seems like density is missing, but without pics it is not easy to understand if it is a lack of growth (bad) or a lack of density planted (better). Also your pics are to poor to judge if the detailes of the hairline is good (e. g. singles or multies, micro iregularities) or not. The overall design appears OK. Nevertheless, regarding your age (sorry) it seems like you should have some donor left and this could be easily fixable with a great clinic. Maybe consider someone using implanter pen. However you need to travel in my opinion (EU, US, Canada, Turkey, India)
  6. Why would a very healthy young man lose his hairs in the first place? Genetics!
  7. Unfortunately, this correlation does not exist and I am the best proof for it. So do not freak out, if you are NOT a fast grower.
  8. Payam, what kind of explanation to you expect? Honestly, even the best clinics have poor results with terrible growth (worse than yours). So far no one knows why. What you could have asked, before you started the sh.tstorm would have been: Do they have a rating about you grafts? How easy was it to extract them etc. Now, there is nothing to gain any more.
  9. This thread is confusing and it seems I missed out on the background story however. 1. You are not even at 6 month, it is too early to call the procedure a failure 2. Without clear pre-, intra- and post-OP pics, we cannot give any advice. If you deleted them, ask you clinic to sent them again. If they do not have pictures, do not step another foot in there. 3. Keller is not one of the clinics I followed closely, but IMO it doesn't matter if he is first or second tier, this does not explain the lack of growth 4. Even the very best clinics have cases with almost zero growth it can be just such an X-factor case
  10. Looks really clean and very (!) dense. Amazing to see 2500 FU with this hair diameter in such a small area. +1 one Jean's comment. But this makes me wonder even more: Why did Baubac cancelled on you? Did you recide much more after your fist meeting with him? Or was it the first time he has seen your case and you have been in contact with a advisor only before? A 37 year old with your hair and just starting FIN. What else do you want as a clinic?
  11. You need to share more and better before, after and intra pictures if you want a valuable assessment from the forum.
  12. Remember you case! I am sure everyone in here wishes you nth but the best. Did Dr. Harris or Dr. Diep offer any explanation what went wrong and/or what will be done different this time? Some clinics have an internal protocol how extraction and implantation went. Bigger punch diameter? Different way to implant the grafts (forceps/implanter)? From your old thread I have recognized that the transplanted hair appeared also thin and has slightly lighter colour. Maybe a sign that extraction was putting to much stress on the roots. All the best
  13. Personally, I think the scar tissue thing is overblown in general and especially in your case. Million of patients get a second surgery / touch up with good results, why should it be an issue in your case? I believe this new clinic (Which one?) only wants to lower your expectations.
  14. Thanks for the update. You had really a huge area to cover and you look much better than before. Some more infos would be great (hair diameter, number of singles and multis etc.). To give an opinion about the hairline design prctures from the front and side are required to assess your proportions. I am also not sure if you have the sweetspot in length between sides and top.
  15. NW5 on both sides is pretty bad. You should be cautious. I had incredible shedding from Minox (some hair never recovered). I had no shedding from FIN, but there was also not really big improvement. Maybe some hairs got a little stronger after 6-9 month but no real regrowth. On the bright side: I have lost almost no ground since I started 5 years ago. Counting hair in the shower is bulls..t, Typical Bro-Science. The only way not to lose hair in the shower is being a NW7.
  16. yieks, didn't you thought about another procedure? That would have been a really bad idea. Your hair looks perfect.
  17. As the OP asks for advice, here is mine: - You are pretty young and still have a good head of hair - HT is always a risk (can go wrong and you are worse than before, can go well and you lose further hair...and your are worse than before) Next steps: - Look at your family history - Take FIN (ok, you do it already) - Only do a transplant now if your family history leaves enough grafts even at the worst case - Only do a transplant now if there is a cosmetic benefit in case it is going well --> Without seeing your facial proportions from the front and the side NO ONE can tell if a transplant makes a cosmetic benefit By the way: Fin did the same to me. My libido increased since starting FIN 5 years ago an remained high.
  18. Looking at the latest hairline picture: It doesn't look to bad IMO. No reason to remove grafts by laser or anything else, like you asked in another thread. If you add density then most likely it will be just fine. And if not: Just plug the few multis so that they are singles. Many people do that with their remaining native hair in front of their new hairline. If (and it is a big if) after that the multis still bother you then (and only then) you look for removal.
  19. At not even 4 month it is way to early to judge your result. Most start growing at month 3.5 or 4. Everyone is nervous I get it, but this is just how it is: It takes time.
  20. 5000 hairs is way to low. Maybe is a mix up of graft and hair. You should also consider FUT. Unfortunately this erases most Turkish clinics. Hattingen in Switzerland would be great for your case, but it will be much more expensive as your turkey plans. With your amount of loss you have one shot only. By the way: If you do not trust the judgement of the clinic before the surgery … do NOT go there.
  21. I think it is a good result but not a homerun. The ingrown hair also appears thin and I guess there will be further improvement especially in the crown. The area was huge and 3000 grafts is not that much. You loss will continue, so you probably will need another procedure anyway. Your styling is not great either, with some products and better layering, it would appear much denser. Have you tried to slick it back?
  22. What do you mean? 1. Is just simple geometry, and also shown in multiple discussions. Just look at the shape of the multis. 2. Well, this is what the protocol of good clinics is: They inspect the grafts. Why do they have microscopes in the first place? My clinic even sent me pictures from that process. 3. Well, some clinics refused to do a small test case on me and the one which offered it, asked for higher price/ graft. As some of the costs are not graft dependent (medicine, consultation, after care, hairline design, …) this is logical too.
  23. 1. Yes, small singles might be more sensitive but bigger ones are not more sensitive to mishandling than multis. Why should they be?. Anyway, you are talking about transection nit mishandling: Multis are much more (!) prone to transection (or: Only a single is surviving of a previous multi). That is one reason why I think you point regarding transection rate is not a good one. 2. Typically, grafts are inspected after extraction. Transection should be detected during this process. If the implant transected grafts and/or continue to extract grafts with such high extraction rates, this would be borderline criminal. That is another reason why I do not buy you theory. 3. Test runs are not typically loved by clinics and per graft they are very expensive. I did it nevertheless. But maybe I am overly cautious.
  24. BY the way: Yes it appears (!) you lost some of your native hair. Hard to tell what is the reason for that: Progression of the hair loss Shock loss which was permanent as hair was already weak Transection of the native hair
  25. We are going in circles and Jean answered most of this questions but I have one good reason to write one more post: 1. I have seen a lot of bad results from Feriduni, Bisanga and Lupanzula, but much less than from ASMED. I have seen non of Konior and Cuoto. BUT: Like Jean said, this is about statistics. There are only very few patients cases online of all clinics mentioned besides from ASMED. 2. No, your guess is not as good as mine, as you will make your next steps based on … on what actually? What did you read? Why do you think this is a transection issue? Do you really think they transected > 50 % of the grafts and did not even recognize it at the inspection? IF that is the case, this clinic should be banished from this forum. BUT: Why did the doubles and triples survive if the small punch is the reason for the transection? There should not be any doubles/triples cause they all should be transected even more than the singles. Side points: Actually you could not even blame the young techs anymore if the reason was the small punch, cause I guess that Erdogan choses the punch size. If transection was the biggest issue of FUE than there would not be million of bad FUT results around. 3. I said several times: Thick grafts or multis in the hairline are typically bad work from the clinic if it is more than a few outlayers. Typically bad work by the techs sorting/implanting the grafts (and not a matter of microscopes). Only apology for the clinic: The singles in front of the doubles did not grow. DO you have close ups directly after the transplant? Can you see multis in the first row (in know some could have been dormant), but it could be a hint. Bad angles and wrong bending are always the fault of the clinic: Typically poor slides by the surgeon and wrong rotation by the techs. Summary: Transection is unlikely to be the major reason for your results. Could be that this was the issue but it could also be: - Your grafts are sensitive to the stress during HT - You are a bad healer or the infection played a role - The grafts were mishandled after extraction - The grafts dried out (the small punch size could play a role here) - Many unkown other reasons... WHY DO I WRITE THIS. If it is an issue of your body, you have to be very careful about your next step. If the main reason is your recipient does not produce blood vessels fast enough or sth like that, than another transplant especially an FUT would make things much worse. I would recommend to make a small test FUE. Test strip is unfortunately difficult outside of the mFUE from Feller. By the way: I never thought of going to ASMED, cause I did not have financial pressure and I like a more personal approach with my clinic. I am not trying to defend the clinic, I just want to say that there are many possible reasons and (!) you have to be very careful about the next steps.
