  1. Yes, it is one of the most obvious ludwig cases I have ever seen for a male patient.I do have kind of a mixture between ludwig and norwood and overall thinning myself :-( Shame that you could not tolerate FIN. Could have helped tremendously. Just to make sure: - You had previous surgery with Feriduni in the same area (Ludwig)? How many grafts? - Was it a failure and this is a repair or did it grow and you lost your remaining hairs?
  2. With all due respect: Of course body hair (including beard) is the last resort. But this case is already at it last resort. Sorry for beeing that honest. A plan has to include the evaluation of body hair, as the math makes it nessesary. That doesn't mean you start with it, but respect it in your plan. Nape hair for this case is literally follicular suecide.
  3. Very interesting case. After the first pic I thought: What is this? 100 Grafts? But it is more clear later, even though the pics of Feriduni make it look better than it is in real live. I know it myself... For me this is the perfect case for the question: Implanter pen or not? Work looks clean like always wit this clinic. I think you are well on track for 4-4.5 month, considering that you for sure had a lot of shock loss. Frontal part looks better than the crown. Also not unexpected. You can also see (even your pics are blurry) that besides futher growth, the hair will mature within the next month. Please continue to show your results and happy growing.
  4. Umar should be on you list, as well as HLC in turkey because of the body hair issue. Maybe you can have a webmeeting if you cannot travel now. You are one of the most difficult cases I have seen in here. It will be a process which takes years and lots of money.
  5. Great clinic for such a type for hair loss and hair characteristics. Like I said: There is not the (!) best clinic. Only the best clinic for your personal case. The second surgery is not nessessary at all. It is pure hair greed. But I am sure it will look great and if you have the follicles, why not do it? Great decision. Let us know the outcome. @Markee, Keser is not close to be a good choice for your case. And this is valid for both sides.
  6. You are hard to judge from pics. There seems to be a lot of scar (?) tissue on you scalp. Or is it sht. else? Also you seem to have strong retrograde alopcia. In combitation with the weak sides, it looks like you are going towards a NW6+. We need more info: - Which part on you head is transplated hair? - How is the scar looking like. - Do you have body hair? Does it look similiar to your head hair? You might have half a bullet left. Do not waste it by rushing into a transplant.
  7. You could easily go partly shaven and within 1 week no one would have seen anything with just 1600 FU. Or sport longer hair and cover the buzzed down area similiar to strip (did the latter). Anyhow, let us focus on the future. I still recommend to see some more clinics on top of Alexander. I do not want to say he is not good, but for such a case you might need several opinions.
  8. Personally, I do agree that in average yield of strip is better with strip and in the best case FUE is close. I recommend strip regulary for big cases. But I have a hard time follow this post. What is your message exactly? Europe is bad, US is great? ;-) 1. Every (!) clinic has bad results independent of method (FUE or strip).. Just look at this horrible H&W case recently discussed in here. 2. Which role do Lorenzos hairlines play in this case? I think non and I also think it is not true. Why does Couto and Freitas decimate the Donor? Actually, Couto has a lot of cases online with a great result using low graft counts. Actually, he is praised a little to much for it, cause a lot of patients of his just have thick donor hair due to their heritage. 3. I though every elite Doc has bad results (your word)? So Konior is not elite? Or is he beyond elite? The truth is: Of course he has some bad cases, there are just so few online that you can see them. He himself admitted that every (!) clinic has bad results (explecitely not excluding himself). And yes, I have seen bad results of Keser like I did from everyone else. 4. Interesting point, but actually also the pro-strip brigade (or should I say Dr. Feller) has no scientific data to back up that strip is superior. We had this discussion on literally 300 pages. And even Feller and Bloxham did went down like a "led zeppeln" trying to back up their point with data ;-) 5. "The Europeans" again...of course Konior or Diep do not do this. Tell me: Do they just use lower density or are they just superior? What about Canada? Are their clinics Europe like (overhavesting) or US like (flawless) when performing FUE? Keser is actually known for doing more with less in german forums.
  9. Are you sure the swollen eyes are from the strip? I guess it is coming from the recpient (wounding and the injected fluids etc.). Typical second surgery is smaller, hence less swelling.
  10. Nowadays, 1600 FU is a small procedure. You seem to have an quite good status and great donor hair. There is no need for Strip in your case from what I see. A small FUE would do it. But: I do not have enough information about your case to make a final judgment.
  11. Sorry, to see such a result. We feel with you. This is bad work in many ways: - Big (dark) caliber hairs in front (it is not only about the multis) - Multis in front - Bad design and angles in the temples just like Jean mentioned The story of the clinic is nonsense and you can easily tell their name, cause you should never set a foot back in there. Why think like this? - Obviously they have no protocoll for the techs - The design and incisions is on the surgeon - If the tech made a "mistake", why did the doc not see this directly after the OP? Didn't he check after the finished procedure --> Also: I do not see much bumps on the skin. If the technician planted big multis in incisions for small singles (not big singles), there should be a lot of bumps. My conclusion: He already made way to big incisions. - I also do not understand a 1600 FU strip for your case. But there might be a good reason. Did I say before, that you should never set foot in there? What can be done? Easiest would be to put singles in front of the Multies via FUE, but we need to see your full face (with blacked eyes etc.) to see if this is possible from your hairline position. Also I agree with Jean that the temples might need extraction in any case. There is a great repair case from Konior in here, which might help to understand the next steps. Best of luck.
  12. +1 Perfect result is hardly ever achieved. You are 27. Most likely there is a second OP coming.
  13. If you want to have one clinic to do it all, then that IMO leaves: - HLC - Keser - Kaan (who was working for Keser and then for HLC) For Keser you are already a big case and I have not seen much temple point from him. He also has sometimes issues to extract grafts due to his extraction method. You will need at least several days and maybe several sessions. Also, I heard complains about his lack of english skills and bad communication during surgery in the clinic. He has great hairline results for sure. HLC has several surgeons for different topics (body hair, head hair etc.). The also perform lower amount of grafts / day. So several days and maybe several sessions. I think they used the "Keser punch" in the past, but not sure if the still do. Kaan, would be the cheapest option for the "everything by the doc" clinic, but he is also the one with the fewest results online. Same for the punch like HLC. In the end: - All clinics have poor results. I also have seen them from Keser even though he is great and is doing everything by himself. - There is more to consider than who does ectractions, incisions and planting. Why the focus on turkey? Lupnazula, Heißmann and Konior come to my mind too as "do it yourself clinics". Money?
  14. That is simply not true. There are a lot of clinic ISHRS members who do use techs for most of the procedure and there are actually quite a lot bad clinics (independently if the use techs or not). Also, a lot of great clinics are missing at the ISHRS site. There is other way, but to look at the results in forums like this or others if you want to find great clinics. Turkey has maybe a handfull of great clinics and maybe thousands of horrible ones.
  15. As always the truth is somewhere in the middle: Anyone who has read in here (or other forums) knows, that most clinics world wide (even the biggest names) use techs for most of the work besides incisions. There are only a handfull skilled clinics who perform the complete procedure. Most of them perform only very small # per days and limited # per session. For bigger cases above 2500+ graft this is a big deceisive factor. However, there is no black and white. Some of the "tech" clinics have very well educated techs and also the doc is doing a lot of supervision or even extracting test grafts etc. My guess (as I have never been in contact with ASEMD) is that Erdogan might be doing less supervisions than other clinics of this type. But he is also much cheaper compared to Feriduni, Rahal, H&W, Bisanga etc. Also: There are maybe more bad results from Erdogan online, bute there are also significantly more good results online from him.
  16. I second the opinion of Jean an throw in HLC for smaller cases. Kaan is a former HLC employee who has a smaller track record since beeing independent, but at least worth looking at, too.
  17. Would be interesting to see what was provided by the clinic. Hopefully there was some kind of a solutions, even though I do not see how this could have looked like. But this is a clear example that also FUT can fail, not only FUE.
  18. I think they split the tasks at HLC. One is specialised for body and beard. Otherones for head donor. Before I mix up the names of the docs better you contact them yourself.
  19. Calm down. In the best case you are looking better than before. In the worst case yoo look the same, but lost some money. No big deal. You will not feel the 700 FU lost and it will not affect you way forward. You have great hair anyway. There will be some shockloss but most of it will be temporary.
  20. Hattingen is from my perspective doing more FUT than Feriduni in the recent years, therfore I give them the edge for bigger mega session FUT. But: Their hairlines are very conservative, too. You can find a lot of results from real patients in a german forum (alopezie.de) but you have to be sign in to see this section of the forum. Reason: In germany (maybe also switzerland) it is forbidden to show before/after pics on your homepage publicly. Hattingen is also very active in the german forum and interacts with users. On youtube you will also find some results but mostly from the clinic itself. You won't do anything wrong with Devroye, Feriduni or Bisanga either in my opinion.
  21. 6500 FU at 20 years seems like a record. Not sure if that is a good sign. I do not have a great beard either but had significant new growth of beard hairs after the age of 20. I do not think it is a good idea to have beard transplant that early. Also: The hipster beard will get out of fashion sooner or later. Then it is a waste anyway. I wish you the very best. Work looks clear, but I still hope that Jean is correct and this is not 6500 FU.
  22. Incredible! This is one of the best 3 month results i have ever seen. I am completely and absolutely jealous.
