  1. Stress doesn't cause hairloss. Even med school stress. Genetics causes hairloss. If there weren't a bunch of bald men coming home from Germany, Vietnam, Korea, Afganistan, and Iraq after fighting wars, med school won't cause it. If I were you, i would get on finasteride and you will still be stable when you graduate. If you become a surgeon or anesthesiologist, you will wear a head cover anyway and can get an HT without worry!
  2. People like your posts. It's not that accurate unless somebody went through and liked a few thousand of Bill and Spex's posts, but that is the was supposed to work I think. I just liked your post so we will see what happens.
  3. Yield looks excellent and the hair will mature. I'd like to see some more irregularities but it looks really good and tons better that where you started.
  4. I think you'll be fighting a constant battle with no fin and this diffuse thinning. I know that you can't take it, but it is going to make your long term fight difficult and you may be losing as fast as you are implanting?
  5. The electrolysis looks like it is healing very well. Better than I expected so soon. Hopefully the scar improves more in the future.
  6. Looks like you have pretty course hair to begin with. I wouldn't want a lot of doubles in my hairline, but do you risk scarring to take the 2s out? Idk if it's worth it
  7. I see about 1500 in the crown (just a guess) which was pretty much totally bald in your preops. That leaves 2200 for your midscalp and hairline, so, it is likely just additional hairloss.
  8. On average. You may get 35%, but yes. That's what I'm saying.
  9. 80 days is generally just after your low point. However, I lose hair in my hands, towel, shower, etc and have for years. Better to worry about what comes back instead of what falls out. Are you on finasteride. If so, did you start recently? This can induce a shed too.
  10. Brad Pitt was late 40s in Fury and he looked pretty bad a$$ .
  11. Everyone talks like transplants are the only hair that lighting effects. He's seen 20 old women who's hair looks less that desirable under harsh light. Relax folks.
  12. Never heard of a weave after surgery. You may be surprised what s little doc could do, but I'd stay away from anything else. Shock is a major bummer. Any pre op pics?
  13. Keep updating man. It is an important service you are doing. Nadimi has cases under her belt, but no one has documented their transplant on HTN with her that I've seen. At some point, posting a pre op pic would be helpful.
  14. Melvin is right. That's moderate CVG. I have moderate CVG as well. No cure. Just grow your hair out and consider finasteride if you are losing it.
