  1. I an not following you. What is the problem? Why not let it grow out and see how it looks before deeming it a failure? Dont take this wrong but sometimes your hair problems aren't hair problems. Sometimes is unhealthy views or expectations of oneself. Say you put 4000 grafts into your hairline, would that make you happy? Probably not. Try having a positive outlook. Having a natural look is infinitely more important than big time density. Putting 4000 grafts in a hairline will never look natural. Try not to worry, give it a year, and take pics of your results so you can get honest opinions.
  2. I think 3 to 4 days is too soon. I would shoot for 10 and on wear one too tight.
  3. I think you will have a great outcome. Looking forward to following your case. Did you take off work for an extended time or are you just going to own it?
  4. I disagree with a patient having to post their whole name open for the board. There is no reason that the moderators cannot corroborate his story, but he should have to post pics.
  5. Get on finasteride asap. It wont grow hair back near as well as it will keep it in. I deal with salesmen (million dollar sales) all the time and being bald is not a disqualifier at all. I have had them with hair systems, hair transplants, bald, etc .being bald is not distracting at all. Having a bad HT is. My advice is just finasteride and rogain fir now.
  6. You look like you've done your research but: 1. Therr are tons for NW6s walking around around as t had more hair that you did at 23 before you started your treatment. You are too young to say you were headed to a NW4to5. Your final pattern was yet to me identified. 2. Shock loss can still be an issue. Medication helps strengthen your hair and can reduce it, but to shock can definitely still be an issue.
  7. 2 questions: Are you sure this wasn't FUT, looks like he has a strip scar in the after shot Do you really expect to see more growth many months beyond 16 months? That seems like a stretch.
  8. 16 years old in the Navy at sea with a Sergeant? I'm not saying that can't be accurate, but that's a first for me.
  9. I think there is a good chance you will be a 7, definitely a 6. At 26, I wouldn't do anything. I'd get on finasteride to see if it would help with keeping my hair longer without needing to shave it. That's it for now.
  10. I'm interested in how your electrolysis takes? In the end, what percent of hair left and left for good?
  11. I have dark hair and only 1 procedure. I was a NW 2.5. I'm going on 6 years post OP.
  12. Agreed, the cases I've seen this done on are more about reshaping the hairline the bulk removable of plugs and less about good growth rates.
  13. It's possible. Dr. Gable just did a case where he removed the guys whole transplanted hairline and retransplantrd it. In your case though, I still wouldn't do it, at least at this point. My concern is that I doubt a good doctor would do that at this point, so be careful not to push the subject and have a hack get a hold of you. I'm fairly confident that Dr. Konior wouldn't do what you are asking at this point.
  14. You dont need all of that. Take them from your sides and back via FUE. You have enough for that little area.
  15. So, you are actually 16 years old right now. That's a big bummer man. You are far too young for a transplant. Do not do it. Period. Talk to your parents and your doctor about finasteride and rogaine. I'm sorry you are going through this and I'm sure you feel isolated. The good thing is that your peers will eventually catch up to you and have hairloss too and you wont feel so different. Good luck.
