  1. Awesome result. U look like a smaller Jesse James, but with better hair.
  2. Thanks. I hope you follow up. There is a problem with the clinic's logic though. Get off of minoxidil so you can see the difference. If you need to get off minox to see the difference, why would you pay 95 dollars a month when you can do minox for about 10 dollars a month?
  3. Man, only a scammer would tell you to get off minoxidil for 4 months. I would not use a product that he wouldn't tell me what was in it. For all you know, its minoxidil. You get off minox for 4 months, take pics, then get back on it for 4 months, and you look better. I don't like the sound of this at all.
  4. Those temple points are on point. Kudos to the patient for the pics too, better pics than most clinics.
  5. Not really. I don't think if would be called gross malpractice, it is just old technique and crappy work. I think that you would be causing yourself a lot more stress and not get anything out of it. The best bet is to cut your losses and save what you can with ta decent doctor. Not to bust your chops, but its not bad luck, it was bad research too. You should take responsibility for your body and do the research that is appropriate before you alter your body for life. I know that hair loss is very emotionally distressing, but living with a bad procedure is much worse. Going back to this guy to save money would be a big mistake. Move on and do it right. You can bounce back from this, but it would definitely be considered a repair IMO.
  6. Don't walk, run. That's not quality work and you would be doubling down on a bad decision to go back.
  7. If you grew out your hair, with kind of a shady forward look, you shouldn't have any trouble hiding a hairline case with the density of your native hair.
  8. Wow. I see nothing wrong with someone wanting to do maintenance to their hair if it is age appropriate in the long term. Is there a specific amount of baldness that you think someone should reach before it passes the jjsrader test for an appropriate hair case? Say you have a small bump in your nose, and you want a nose job. Should super-big-nose guy find it insulting that you got a nose job? And is it a money grab from the plastic surgeon that does the small nose tweek as opposed to only working on humongous noses? I can see that you may not find a case like that impressive, because it may not be your level of baldness, but there are a lot of people like this guy that come to the forums to see hair work that are in this guy's boat, and they deserve to see cases like this as well. Your post kind of makes you come off as a hater, a little jealous, and a little bitter. Sorry you are going through that.
  9. Just google "adding duasteride to finasteride" and there is a case study linked on the first page.
  10. That is a good graft count. 2.14 is your ratio. Nothing wrong with that.
  11. There will have to be more posts to be able to tell, but here are my thoughts after about 5 minutes. 1. It is not easy, so far, to see threads with new postings and who they are. It may just be the UI, but I like coming to the forum and clicking "New Posts" and getting to see what has is being posted about. I am sure it is there, it just doesn't feel as visible. Hopefully, new and hot posts will get to be visible in a more user friendly way. (That said, I am a person that is resistant to change, so that could just be the issue). 2. Speaking of resistant to change, so far, it looks like every other forum out there that I don't frequent, because I don't like the UI, I guess I will reitterate, I can't see the title of the threads that are being posted on easily (so far). I like to see the number of views, posts, and if there has been a new post, I like to be able to easily see that. But I only want to see the title of the thread, and then I will decide to click on it or not. 3. I do like that you can like a post along with other emoji's. That is long past due. 4. I saw something in there about warning points or something like that? That seems interesting. Where is that going? 5. Also, there seems to be a value for how well your posts are liked call Community Reputation? Interested to hear more about that. 6. The thing I like the most about it is that the mobile version seems much easier to upload images on.
  12. I have no idea why someone would stay on fin for 20 years and get off of it a month after getting a transplant. At that point, almost any judgement of the transplant will be hard to do, unless the area was slick. Good luck though.
  13. I agree that this looks like necrosis and you should probably be on antibiotics. Pretty bad.
  14. Looking forward to seeing your progress. Congrats.
  15. When did you start propecia? If you are a 38 year old NW2, you'll likely never be a Mr Burns. Keep your body in shape and you'll be a hard of the majority of people, especially as your girl ages too.
  16. It's doubtful you could remove them with no scarring at all and replant. Have you talk ed to your doctor? What's he saying? I don't see anything wrong with your temple area.
  17. I haven't seen much about SMP in conjunction with grown out HT's. Have you seen any benefit to that at all in reducing the hair to skin tone difference or does it just look fake?
  18. I read an article on the hairloss cure by 2020 site that's titled "Dr. Hasson Ditches Oral Finasteride." Since this is out there in kind of a big way now, I didn't contact the center directly and thought that maybe one of the reps would want to expand on what that means. Has there been a benefit to this for patients that have been on fin for some time? Is he not prescribing it old patients that are doing well on it? How would you persuade someone to justify the cost difference? etc. Also, how accurate is the article? Did he really ditch oral fin or is he just making it more available as a choice?
  19. I am very interested in PRP with Acell and Stem Cell Therapy. There are only a few I would consider for PRP and I don't know enough about Stem Cells. I am closely following the slow "advances" in hair loss, and despite my pessimism, I try to be hopeful that non-surgical options continue to advance in results and efficacy. I imaging that I will start doing some PRP eventually. It works well for some. Hopefully, Japan is going to take the lead and come out with something that is going to may Apple Iphone money look like chump change. There is a lot of people working on different ways to attack hair loss and I think someone is going to strike it big eventually. As far as Stem Cells, I just have not seen enough evidence that it is working, but I have seen some good PRP stuff.
