2500 Grafts FUE - 18th December 2018 - Asmed Dr Erdogan
xadiohead replied to DEB1982's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Hair. Greed. At. Its. Finest. You have more hair than I had at 18 -
That's fair, just figured if you did it once you wouldn't mind to keep doing it. I don't think I would have the nerve to be able to do it myself! I think yours is already a success with several months to go. Sure there is still some density lacking behind the hairline but looks tremendously better than your before and you still have several months for growth. I'm hope I'm where you are at in 5 months.

For your 8 month update and each month going forward can you please post pics outside similar to your 7 month 1 week? Obviously these are going to be the worst looking pictures but it also really helps see the improvement compared to various indoor lighting month to month. I think you are going to be happy with your 1 year results. I'm over 5 months behind you at Asmed (mid march surgery).

2476 Grafts FUE with Dr.Bhatti at Darling Buds
xadiohead replied to johanchicago's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
I generally agree with this when people post things like this at the 6-7 month mark but I too don't see how he can get a good result based on the gaps in the post opp pics. Every graft/hair would have to survive for it to even be a decent result. I too think SMP is going to be his best route, but should wait at least 6 months for that.- 84 replies

Looks nice. Are you taking any supplements or doing a special regime? (Rogaine, oils, biotin, saw palmetto, massaging recipient area, etc)?

5.5 months and you are already asking about having a warranty repair done? If you look like this is 10 months, then you can start to worry.

2700 grafts 26/03/18 - Dr. Koray Erdogan (Asmed)
xadiohead replied to pancake's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Pankcake- Can you please post a 12 month update? It's been about six months since your last post. -
True but at the same time if anyone can register an account and use their first post to make a generic review of a clinic without any beneficial details or pictures it affects the credibility of this site.

2700 grafts FUE- one week post operation
xadiohead replied to xadiohead's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
I think I made a really bad mistake this morning. I am 34 days out of my transplant and after getting out of the shower I was very gently brushing my hair back with a somewhat soft tip brush for just a minute or two to spike it up a little. Also figured it would help massage the recipient area a little. Then i started bleeding in a couple spots where new grafts are. Needless to say I'm really paranoid i did some damage. I know grafts are generally secure 10 days out but why would I bleed this easily and in multiple spots? I attached a picture of the brush, there aren't any missing bristles (sharp points). Definitively won't be doing that again but any thoughts? I've been extremely cautious since the hair transplant but this does not seem good. -

FUE 3070 grafts Dr Koray Erdogan July 26 2018
xadiohead replied to kw877's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
I guess I am confused that bases on those pre-op pictures why you even needed a hair transplant. You mentioned you were insecure about your hairline, most of us would love your pre-op (at least based on the pics above). -

I’m still confused, are all of those pre op pictures? -
Based on their website, that cost you $23,200. That's a pretty penny but by the looks of the hairline appears to be well worth it (assuming you didn't go into debt for it). Your thick hair seems to make you a perfect candidate. I don't think those scars are a result of H&W bad work, appears something more about your specific donor area.

Go away, you aren't one of us anymore 🤣 jk, looks amazing! -
I'm sure there will be some Asmed naysayers (some of which seem justified) come along shortly but this looks very impressive to me for 6 months! What do your friends, family, coworkers say?

I think these pictures go to show that you can really manipulate hair transplant pictures to show progress.. Hair combed certain ways, hair parted certain ways, hair length, different lighting, different angles etc. Some of your pictures look impressive then some others not so much. You still have 5-6 months though so I think you will be good.

FUE 3070 grafts Dr Koray Erdogan July 26 2018
xadiohead replied to kw877's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Yours is tough to evaluate before/after because you had very good hair to start with (at least for a hair transplant patient). It seems it is getting better based on the last pictures, though I'm sure it is not where you want it at. -

What is the best solution for hair loss?
xadiohead replied to Skn Cosmetics's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
There isn't a single answer, takes a combination. A hair transplant without finisteride (especially for anyone under 40) along with other measures can turn into a mess 5+ years later when/if the native hair starts to go. If there was a single cure, we all would be doing it. -

Impressive so far!....Why not finisteride too? -

xadiohead replied to Lennney's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
That certainly is not conservative hairline/temple work. I wish you the best, don't want to knock your positivity, and hope I am wrong but that just does not seem like near enough grafts to fill that large hairline in. The thing you do have going for you (and I am the same boat since I too have blondish hair), is that there is not much contrast from hair to skin which makes thinning a bit less obvious. I know you mentioned in the past you were not on finisteride but hopefully you are using it now and plan to stay on it. You are going to need it longterm (just like I do).
