I had my surgery at ASMED last week. Everything went great while I was there but then again it's only the results that ultimately matter which I won't know for another 8-12 months. . I should have asked to doctor what he thought about all these people complaining. It certainly makes me nervous for my results. I wonder to what degree it is affecting potential ASMED customers from not going there. I would think Dr. Erdogan would try to interject in some of these posts to make it look like he cares.

Can the mods just delete these ridiculous propaganda threads from new users without pics? Discredits this forum.

Did ASMED do PRP on you? It was supposed to be in my package but I don't remember them doing it or discussing it. Not saying they didn't, I just don't remember.

What about the scar? What made you go with FUT?

Kraistoff, your hair already looks so much better at 6 months than it did pre-op. Yes there are still a few areas lacking density but hopefully that will fill in for the most part over the next 6 months. Have to have realistic expectations though as you have dark hair on what appears to be fair skin (same as you Farsan). That's going to make the illusion a bit more difficult to completely achieve for the full coverage in outside light you are wanting. It is still going to be a day and night improvement compared to your before pictures.

Looking good....Your hairline looks pointier (more "V" than "U" shape) than most ASMED hairlines including mine. Did you have to ask him to do it this way or did you redraw it that way? I think it looks very natural.

Gotcha...Well my total was 2723 to be exact so I really got 223 for free.

I think this surgeon review forum should require a minimum 9 months unless you had a botched transplant up front. 7 months is too soon to judge a surgeon based on low density.

Also, do I need to be doing anything special to get the scabs off? I thought they were supposed to fall off naturally or through the very light daily washing ASMED has you do. Technically I am only 6 days post op (it was last Thursday) and not a full week. I was thinking they come off between 8-11 days.

Can you clarify what you mean by "given the mid end range of grafts used compared to their 3k+"? Not sure if that is a good or bad thing you mention. I only paid for 2,500 grafts (which was what he recommended) but in the middle of surgery Erdogan increased it to 2700 for no additional cost. Not sure if he normally does this type of thing or if I was special. During the consultation he didn't ask me if I wanted additional temple work but I think this is because I told him I did not want the sides very low as I need to save as many grafts at possible for the future based on my terrible family MPB history. I also showed him a couple pictures of some hair lines I thought would make sense for me and they didn't have much temple hair. I would definitely prefer more temple hair but again just couldn't justify for my scenario.

I had my surgery one week ago for 2700 grafts via FUE. For right now just want to make sure my one week looks normal. Thoughts? I will update this thread at least monthly with pictures and also will include the before pictures soon. I'm also not disclosing the name of the doctor for now as many people have bias (whether positive or negative) towards doctors and I don't want that to affect responses. Thanks

I arrived in Instanbul last night from Texas (took about 20 hours from the time I left my house to get to the Radison hotel). I am going to ASMED this afternoon for my evaluation and my surgery is tomorrow. Reading the end of this thread (and a couple other threads I have seen) has me very nervous. I know with ASMED I'm getting technicians doing just about all the work besides the incision, but I'm worried that some groups of techs may not be as good as others, especially now that he is doing more surgeries per day. Guess I should have tried to get the names of some of the good techs from past patients and requested them before coming. Muge is my coordinator.
