  1. Patient Safety and Health is the utmost importance @Eugenix Hair Science as I and thousands of others who had the experience of having their HT there.
  2. @Abhinay Singh the huge transformation and really impressive improvement is clear to see. Congratulations to you, you are only at 2 months , you have a lot to look forward to for the months ahead. Well done. ........Paddy.....
  3. Congratulations @Bigjab for your HT. Your pictures show the work is really clean. Now that your procedure is over you can relax. Take care for the next 5 days untill your grafts are securely anchored . ......Paddy....
  4. Thanks @Jaden for your appreciation. It's my pleasure to share my experience and knowledge to help anybody researching a Hair Transplantation. All those tips will help greatly to your plans for travel before and after your HT, knowledge of what to expect for your HT, post op , and all the aftercare also. ......Paddy....
  5. Sometimes not all the grafts will be lost During the shedding phase which is good news as they have a head start on the other hairs that have not yet grown through.
  6. Hello @BOW32 some great questions. When the beard is grown out to 2 or 3 nobody can tell any extractions had taken place, and that's the same no matter what length it is. I will try and post a few more pictures soon. I dont know about the group's for beard at the moment if I find out from Eugenix I will keep you updated. I have 1500 to 2000 approx scalp grafts left as my doner was well managed, and I have about 3000 beard grafts left. .................Paddy........... ..
  7. Hello @Karn . You have chosen a great clinic and great doctors. Best wishes for your HT. I had my HT at Eugenix ,and I have a thread relating to my experience to date. Please feel free to have a look at the thread as there is some great tips and advice for a HT shared by the community. ....................Paddy.................
  8. IF I had to stay in my own country just as an example, If I wanted to meet the doctor face to face it would involve a day travelling to get to the clinic, an overnight stay, and a day to get back home. I would guess that's what every patient needs to do at a minimum , with the exception of having the HT done locally, which very few of us do. Doner and recipent areas were checked before I left the clinic. Medication was given for 7 days. Appropriate head wear was given for travelling. Phone calls were made by the doctors on the way home. When I arrived home further video calls by the doctor was made in the first 3 days. Further messages were sent on whatts app what to expect in the first week. Videos were sent for head wash as a refresher although everything was explained anyway. Follow up phone calls were made after the headwash and pictures were sent via whapps app and email. You can do this at 3 , 6, and 9 months for progress checks. Everything is monitored, in the unlikely event of any health related issues you can be treated by your own doctor locally. So all of the above is to me as good if not better by travelling internationally. That's why this forum is exceptional that only the clinics that have the highest of Health and Safety standards are recommended, not the black market clinics that @Melvin-Moderator is educating everybody about to stay away from. ..........Paddy......
  9. Yes looks like shock loss. Over 3 or 4 months from now those areas should look much better. Enjoy your new growth with your HT. ....Paddy...
  10. After extensive research I travelled internationally from Ireland to India.Yes It would have been a short trip to stay in Europe. .Deciding to have a HT is such an important decision, distance and price were the last 2 things that were important to factor into the decision. It's all about the surgeon and expected result. The aftercare is as good if not better as if I had the HT close to home, as it dosent make any difference as you still have to travel away from home for your HT anyway. Travelling internationally is only a small inconevience in the overall bigger scheme of things. .......Paddy......
  11. You will forget and not care about the price of a great Hair Transplant. You will never forget the price of a poor Hair Transplant.
  12. Great advice @Lennney. Yes that's makes a lot of sense. Very important not to scratch the surface of the scalp. Especially in the early stages post HT , as that's when the cause of infection is at high risk. ............Paddy......... .
  13. Keep using the Aloe Vera gel on your doner and recipent, and on your face, anywhere you want. It has great healing properties, and is really good to help with an itchy scalp. Its a great moisturiser also.
  14. Your are right, you could just shave that tuff of hair off if you lost the hair behind it. Some guys though fear shaving their head and want to hold onto every strand of hair they have. If anyone is looking at a HT they should be thinking long term, what happens to the hair beside or behind the transplanted hair ? Maybe another HT ? One should plan for the worst case scenario , whatever that plan will be that that individual feels comfortable with. No matter what one does they can't stop nature, there is no cure for baldness. If you spend 10k is it a waste of money ? If it makes you happy it served its purpose. You are going to spend the 10k on something that makes you happy anyway , whether it's a HT or whatever. Isn't most things we spend our money on a waste at the end of the day. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder ....Paddy...
  15. Be careful with your medication and heal well. ....Paddy...
  16. Excellent Result, marvellous transformation, very natural. Well done to all the team @Eugenix Hair Science ......Paddy.....
  17. 5 WEEK UPDATE SHEDDING STOPED FOR THE MOMENT AT LEAST, AND HOPEFUL THERE WON'T BE ANY MORE AND THAT WILL BE IT. REDNESS ALMOST GONE IN RECIPENT AREA BUT NOT NOTICABLE TO ANYBODY. RECIPENT AREA NOT ITCHY AND FEELS GOOD. DONER AREA FEELS GREAT. IN ONE AREA STILL FEELS A SLIGHT STING WHERE IT HAS NOT HEALED 100% , IT HAS IMPROVED EVERYDAY THOUGH AND ANOTHER WEEK OF HEALING WILL MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE TO IMPROVE IT. I CONTINUE TO USE ALOE VERA GEL ON MY DONER AND RECIPENT AREA 3 TIMES A DAY AND IS REALLY GOOD TO MOISTORISE THE SCALP AND HELP WITH ANY SMALL AREA IN MY DONER AREA THAT NEEDS HEALING. AT THIS POINT IN TIME AND EVEN AFTER 1 MONTH NOBODY CAN TELL I HAD A HAIR TRANSPLANTATION. HAVING SAID THAT , THE RECIPENT AREA HAS LOST A LOT OF TRANSPLANTED HAIR THROUGH THE SHEDDING PROCESS , AND IS LOOKING EMPTY AT THE MOMENT . ANY QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS FEEL FREE. .........................PADDY......................
  18. Hello @Loadrunner. It's best to leave your hair needing a haircut when you arrive for surgery. In this situation the doctors have a better overall picture. They will see you with no hair at all in no time. ....Paddy...
  19. Hello @tesla007. After 6 weeks its likely your shedding is over. Will you shed more ? I don't think so, however nobody knows. I would recommend putting Aloe Vera gel on your recipent to greatly reduce the redness and help with your healing also. You can use it on your doner as well , at this stage your doner should be well healed anyway ??? All the best Paddy.
  20. Yes @Melvin-Moderator I remember very well when I was at @Eugenix Hair Science for my HT, , before I went into the procedure room I recieved anaesthesia as a precaution to ensure all was ok before surgery. It's really sad for the family involved. Thanks for sharing ......Paddy....
  21. Hello Fluffhead. You have gone to great doctors, I had my own HT there recently. You will be very well looked after by everybody @Eugenix Hair Science as the whole team go out of their way to ensure you have the best possible experience and result. Relax and enjoy your stay. .....Paddy...
  22. Hello Noel Your pictures show that you have recovered well, and your appearance looks very normal which is great. Now you need an in depth consultation with a highly experience surgeon to check your doner and recipent for scarring. You must get the best advice to establish whether you are a suitable for surgery, and what can be achieved considering your doner and recipent has been through such trauma. You will need to show all the pictures of your previous HT , before and after. Do you know why your HT failed Noel ? What did the doctor and clinic say ? .....Paddy...
  23. Hello Noel If Turkey has more experienced doctors than Germany thats irrelevent in your case Noel. What is relevent : You must shortlist the best doctors, and that can be anywhere , you must look to the best doctors, that comes first, then the country comes second. I spent 6 years researching before my own HT, one has to be really careful. You have to push the boundaries and be open to Travel , and very importantly to note cheapest in not always the best. Do you know why your HT was a failure Noel ? What did the surgeon and clinic say ? Have you any photos of how you are now ? ......Paddy.....
  24. Hello Ergo. Sorry to hear of your shock loss. If your plan in the US dosent work out and you have to look outside, I could recommend Dr.Sethi and Dr Bansal @Eugenix Hair Science who are experts in repair cases, and beard extractions and implantation. I had my surgery with them, and used beard grafts also. ......Paddy....
