About 4500 grafts could be extracted in my opinion. You could also use your beard grafts where you could harvest another 4500 grafts.

@Kingthin. I researched a lot before my own HT and realised their are better surgeons elsewhere than Turkey. I was willing to travel anywhere to get the best result . I had my HT with Dr.Pradeep Sethi and Dr.Arika Bansal @Eugenix Hair Science India. They are recommended on this forum, and have shown great results. Surgery led by Dr.Arika is about €1.80 a graft , Or for you about £1.50 a graft . Eugenix use their own DHT technique where grafts are extracted and implanted simultaneously, and when not , out of body time for them is kept to a minimun increasing survival rate. You get picked up from the airport. They have a really nice facility where you can stay for a few nights. Getting flights to India from the UK is as easy as Turkey. Paddy

I had my HT with Dr.Pradeep and Dr.Arika @Eugenix Hair Science and I don't take finasteride. It's not necessary to retain transplanted hair. Paddy

Good video @Melvin-Moderator. When the technicans have been working at their Clinic for many years and have carried out many many successful HTs with proven results thats what matters. As you said nearly all modern HTs now are performed by a whole team . Each member of that team will have great experience and a skill set , which also includes the skill of the doctor of course. When all the team including the doctor performs together and knows their roll the end goal will be a successful result. In my opinion when we have technicans with many years experience and have performed many successful HTs together with a highly skilled doctor we can say the clinic has a great doctor with great technicans. Maybe we don't say that often enough. It's only when we see the results of the black market FUE clinics we understand how important the technicans role are , as is the doctors role also of course. @zyzz using beard grafts is a potential option for you to use on your mid scalp. Beard grafts are single hairs and more thicker than regular scalp hair . They are great to help with density. I wish you the best for your result. Paddy

@Bigjab I take Aloe Vera Juice and 2 hair vitamin capsules every morning to help strength , thicken and for growth of the Hair shaft. I use Aloe Vera gel on the scalp to help moistorise and prevent dryness. For washing my Hair I use Johnson's baby shampoo and very occasionally I use the Nizoral anti dandruff shampoo. @mphair I was recently in the very same predicement as yourself so I can totally relate to how you feel about such an important decision. I spent 6 years researching where the best doctors and clinics were in the world for my own Hair Transplantation. I studied and had consultations with a number of clinics . When I studied Eugenix in India and compared them to others around the globe I was really impressed with everything about them. Hence I decided to have my HT with Dr.Pradeep Sethi and Dr. Arika Bansal at EUGENIX. Results by Eugenix shown here on the forum are outstanding. The two founding doctors Dr.Pradeep Sethi and Dr.Arika Bansal are highly skilled with excellent doner preservation while at the same time creating optimum density with a great artistic design and very natural hairlines. At this early stage of my HTjourney I am extremely satisfied with the current result. Dr. Sethi and Dr. Bansal invented the DHT method, Direct Hair Transplantation. This is the most advance technique of Hair Transplantation, where grafts are extracted and simultaneously implanted at the same time. This method ensures that grafts out of body time are kept to a minimum which in turn allows a lot more grafts to survive .This technique has been proven to deliver outstanding results for so many patients. You can see all these results for yourself on this forum , YouTube, and also on the Eugenix website. In my opinion the cost of a HT should not be one of the main initial considerations where possible when conducting your research. Although I understand everyone has a budget. Eugenix prices are really competitive for the quality delivered , compared to others that are showing inferior results in my opinion. Dr.Arika is only €1.80 per graft, and less than $2 per graft approx. Dr.Pradeep Sethi and Dr.Arika Bansal are very highly regarded in the HT industry, while being active members of several HT organisations around the globe. Dr.Arika published many papers , and both doctors co wrote the book Step by Step Hair Transplantation. This book has proven to be a great learning tool for so many doctors in the HT industry. Both doctors have been asked and have given lots of talks and discussion on the subject of Hair Transplantation to educate other doctors on their skill and knowledge. As we have seen on this forum , and elsewhere, they are experts in dealing with extreme cases of baldness . @Yossarian You still have a lot of Hair on your frontal 1/3. A lot of your hair in this area has been lost as well. There is a very good chance you will continue to lose more hair in this area. Now that you are considering a HT it's really important you plan for a second or third HT as you will certainly want to replace the Hair you have now on your frontal 1/3 After you lose it. Your priority is to hold onto your native hair for as long as you can . When you lose it , you will be forced into chasing your hair. That means another HT. Your amount of doner you have for potential HTs is critical in your plan for the long term. It's all about supply and demand. It is of the utmost importance to have your doner evaluated to see how many grafts you might have for potential HTs. It's best to meet a reputable Doctor in person . Keeping future hair loss in mind also will be important . When you know how many grafts you have in your doner you will be in a position to understand what is achievable and what not is achievable to improve your look. If you are looking at Turkey be really careful, as you don't want to go to a black market FUE clinic, or end up with a sloped hairline that resembles a woman's hairline. Do plenty of research and don't make any decisions made in a panic. Take your time. Paddy

@Jonboy81 your correct in saying that Eugenix can give you an illusion of a head of Hair. Yes they are definately outstanding as results have shown around this forum and elsewhere with delivering excellent results for high norwoods. They are also excellent at making the most of managing very limited doner on scalp, and at the same time not overharvesting the doner area ,and also using Beard hair. Your comment about not really having to take medication is a matter of personal choice. Plenty of patients that go to Eugenix and have a HT do take medication. Plenty of patients that go to Eugenix don't take medication, and I am one of those. There is no right or wrong, it depends on each individuals choice. As you say Eugenix is cheap. Yes , Eugenix are really competitively priced . For example surgery led by Dr.Arika is €1.80 per graft. Yes Eugenix are recommended on this forum. All the patients with positive results are the true holders of the holy grail . Paddy

@LookingForTheBest2020 Sorry to hear of your situation, especially after having 3 Hair Transplant it must be very disappointing. If you decided to remove the thick hair from the areas that are highlighted , you might consider using that hair to be implanted again elsewhere on your scalp. Then if you were to touch up around this area where the thick looking hairs were removed from, you could replace them with soft single hairs. These single hairs could be extracted from just up over your ears, and from the nape of your neck. This would give a soft natural undectable looking hairline. As you had 3 HT s already, and your doner is very limited, you might consider using your beard grafts to disguise your FUT scar. I had my HT with Dr.Pradeep Sethi and Dr.Arika Bansal at EUGENIX. I know that they carry out repair HTs, and are very good with dealing with patients with limited Doner. Both Doctors are highly skilled and would be well qualified to really improve your hairline, and other areas of improvement you may require. I hope all works out. Paddy

@Jonboy81 My doner would not be the strongest as I have retrograde alopecia. That's thinning over the ears and at the nape of the neck. It can be also called reverse thinning. Because of this limited doner area, and also through my extensive research , it showed me I needed to find not a very good doctor, but the very best doctor to manage my doner more so than your average HT patient. The consultation in London with Dr.Pradeep and Dr. Arika was great. Dr.Pradeep and Dr.Arika are lovely genuine people with very warm hearts. The consultation was informal, more of a conversation type. Any questions or concerns I had were answered. Speaking of Consultations , Dr Pradeep is travelling over to Mexico, and all over America, and Canada for free consultations in a few weeks time. I'm a norwood 6, and when I look back and see the amazing results of norwood 7s that the doctors have achieved , with so little doner supposedly. When they met me it must have been like, "no problem whatsoever." Lots of patients that go to Eugenix, who are very high norwoods, have been turned down by other clinics because their skill set is up to a certain point. This is where I found EUGENIX stood out ,and had a lot more to offer. Paddy.

@rafter_01 After my HT I used Johnson's baby shampoo .It's very gentle on the scalp. When you massage the shampoo into your recipent, the crusts will turn to mush. You won't damage your grafts as they will be well embedded at this stage. Happy growing. Paddy

@musab I wish you happy growing . I can say you have gone to a great clinic, I also had my own HT at Eugenix. Take care of your grafts and medication for the first 7 days, after that you can relax more. All the best Paddy

Hello @jayking I had my HT at Eugenix late last year and am currently in the early stages of growth. Dr.Pradeep and Dr. Arika both played major roles in my surgery. They are both equally highly skilled and very intelligent doctors . For example, Together they invented the DHT method , Direct Hair Transplantation, an advanced version of FUE, where grafts are extracted and implanted simultaneously . The out of body time of the grafts are kept to a minimum , ensuring near 100% survival. Dr.Pradeep and Dr.Arika co wrote the book Step by Step Hair Transplantation which is used as a training aid to other surgeons. So this is just a very small example to show that each doctor has the highest of creditionals. I can say from personal experience of having my HT, that their protocols which both doctors have implemented and follow are to the highest standards. These protocols are also followed by an experienced team of technicans who work like clockwork. These technicans have been involved at EUGENIX for 10 years and have carried out thousands of procedures. You can see on the Eugenix website for yourself what each package with each doctor includes. Because I had personal experience with both doctors, if I was to have my surgery again I would be very happy with either doctor no problem at all. If you look at you tube videos , their website , patient results posted on this forum you will see the great results each doctor achieved. Hello @yeeaah . Losing your hair can be a traumatic experience alright . Now you want to do something to resolve your issue . You have said the right things " super experienced surgeon , willing to travel to other countries " that's a really important part of your decision making. You also need your temples reconstructed, so only a super experienced Surgeon can do this , as your new look will be what you have for the rest of your life. Your choice of a top Doctor is critical for ensuring you have a really natural look. I can relate to how you think as I was in the same situation myself. I had to factor in wanting an super experienced Surgeon , and willing to travel. I spent a lot of time researching, had flights for face to face consultations with top doctors, looked at lots of results ,spoke to past patients also. I travelled from Ireland and had my HT with Dr.Pradeep Sethi and Dr.Arika Bansal at EUGENIX India. As I had my own personal experience with them,, I can recommend that you have them on your potential list of top Surgeons to look into. In my opinion the cost of a HT should not be a major factor of your decision making, although everybody has a budget. Eugenix prices are very competitive to any of the top surgeons around the globe at $2 or so a graft . That is really affordable. Both Doctors have the highest of creditionals ,are recommended on this forum, and have shown excellent results here also. Even their own employees have shown their results on this forum. Funny you say that because I myself have Retrograde Alopecia in the exact same place 😂, best way to blend it and make it completely unnoticeable is to get a fade. I thought that this would cause some concern when it came to the actual transplant. I was more interested in the main donor image (taken right from the back) to see if there are noticeable patches.
