  1. Very sorry to hear of your terrible experience Noel. How are you now ? How is your doner area and recipent ? Why did it go terribly wrong ? It's of the utmost importance that your scalp is thoroughly checked by a reputable surgeon, one who is highly skilled and has a track record of dealing with repair case patients. Why do you say Turkey ? Is it because of budget ? Maybe you should not limit yourself to 1 country at this point in time, and if it's because of a tight budget perhaps you should wait a little longer as you have a finite amount of doner which is precious. .....Paddy....
  2. Yes only have a few drinks but dont get drunk and go overboard. The reason I suggested non alcohol was to avoid the situation ..."" only 1 more " and then sombody else hands you a drink and so on, you get the idea.
  3. I would take it very easy on the alcohol. Perhaps drink non alcohol beer. After your HT don't touch it for a least a month, as alcohol and healing your doner wont help.
  4. Single hairs are used with very slight irregularities for the front on the hairline to give a natural and undetectable HT. This is then followed behind by 2s and 3s hair grafts. I wish you a successful result. .....Paddy....
  5. Hello @Pyrat . Looking at your pictures 2750 grafts approx would make a nice improvement, if the hairline was not brought down very low and it was on the slightly conservative side. You have a large forehead and the temptation to come down low to combat that could use up a lot of precious grafts, that you will need for later as you will receed further. Remember you can always add to the hairline later, only if need be. You cant take away. Be conservative with your doner and don't take any risks to take grafts outside the Safe DONER Area . Establish as much as practially possible what your progression of baldness will likely be , and plan accordingly with a long term plan. As its all about supply and demand. Get as much information as you can by contacting different doctors. Results are the most important thing at the end of the day as you know. As you have shortlisted Dr Arika @Eugenix Hair Science and tagged myself in this thread for my input as you must know I have been at EUGENIX for my HT , I have no hesitation in recommending Dr.Arika. You can read my thread and see my experience to date. Eugenix have shown excellent results , particularly with high norwood cases, thats why I was drawn to them. As I have seen first hand myself ,the clinic and facilities are state of the art, and the doctors and technicans are highly trained and have worked there for many years, and everybody knows their job to perfection, to work together as a team to give the patient the best possible result. As we all know thats what matters.....Results... I wish you the very best @Pyrat ..........Paddy........
  6. I would recommend to use Johnson's baby shampoo and after the wash moistorise with Aloe Vera gel. I have dry scalp and this works really well for me. .....Paddy...
  7. The healing is taking place slowly, I was the same. You are doing the right thing by using Aloe Vera gel on your doner as it worked wonders for my itchiness, also it will help soothe that tender area and help the healing. Patience is the name of the game now. All the best Paddy
  8. Hello @Bigjab yes best wishes for your own upcoming HT. Please see the previous posts for top tips for a comfortable flight and getting through security after your HT. The sleeping for me was no problem lying on my back with a neck pillow . I never slept on my back before , so I was nervous what to expect. I came up with a few ideas that couldn't have worked better as I got excellent nights sleep. TOP TIPS : Put some pillows tightly each side of yourself , this will take the worry away from rolling over and will prevent you doing it even if you try, as you also have a neck pillow also . This will greatly help to make you feel comfortable lying on you back. Leave ANTIBIOTICS and painkillers and other medication provided by the clinic untill close to the time you go to bed, the medication can make you drowsy and this can be a positive to help you sleep. Get up from bed really early in the morning and by the time you hit the bed at night you will be asleep in no time at all. ......Paddy....
  9. Hello @Yake. I travelled to India for my HT @Eugenix Hair Science. This is another option for you to consider. All the best Paddy.
  10. No need to be concerned whatsoever, it was 9 days after your HT you removed the crusts. Your grafts were well and truly anchored. I removed my crusts after 7 days and there was no issue. I wish you happy growing. .....Paddy....
  11. @texasranger2003 good post. The post concluded that crusts were a major factor in losing grafts. I didnt see anything mentioned in the article about spraying saline spray on the crusts. Since the reason we spray saline is to keep the crusts moist , and help aid removal of them , which would prevent the grafts from becoming dislodged when removing the crusts. All the best on your HT. ....Paddy..
  12. @Portugal25 I have created a thread about my own HT yes, however you or anyone else is most welcome to read it . Yes results are the most important aspect of a HT, thats how I feel and I'm sure many more feel the same, and I'm satisfied you feel that results are really important. You are doing a great deed by helping your friends by recommending clinics and Doctors for them. So results are what they want to know about , and cost of the HT for their personal budget also how far to travel. I wish you the best on your research for your friends , whether it's DHI, DHT , Stick in Place , Implanted Pens , etc etc. .......Paddy....
  13. @Portugal25 Eugenix are not making false claims about anything ! They are showing very positive results of patients on this forum. Patients are posting positive results on this forum, I had a HT recently myself with @Eugenix Hair Science and awaiting a result, along with others. If anyone reads my thread and other threads etc they will see what patients really care about and that is results. This is the most important thing. Eugenix are recommended on this forum as @Melvin-Moderator will agree and also thousands more. Nobody has an issue. Joe Tillman recommends Eugenix on his very strict criteria of recommended clinics. Dr. Pradeep Sethi and Dr.Arika Bansal and supporting Doctors and team are highly respected and regarded by their fellow members. If you have a concern about Eugenix or any clinics way of carrying out their business why don't you ask them directly ? As per your previous posts you seem to be very interested in DHT, DHT Stick in place and implanter pens etc etc. ? ...............Paddy.........
  14. @Loadrunner PRP was included in the package at no extra cost. You must be looking forward to your own journey. When is your own surgery date and what package did you choose ? ......Paddy....
  15. Yes @Portugal25 its not DHI or stick in place thats correct what you said above. It's DHT. Direct Hair Transplantation. ........Paddy.....
  16. Yes @nordicwarrior what you said above is correct. However it is the DHT method. Direct Hair Transplantation. ......Paddy....
  17. Yes it works wonders for me and 2 other forum member is using it now and said the same
  18. Thanks @Loadrunner. The top package I choose recently was 120 inr per graft. You can see from my thread what doctors involvement were. This package is still available from my understanding with Dr. Arika. There is another option lower than 120 inr per graft. If the prices have increased thats the one Dr.Serhi would be involved in. If one is serious about their research and clinics and doctors involvments contact the clinic directly as @Loadrunner has done to find out what the options are and what you can afford. All the best Paddy.
  19. The , knowledge , skill and experience of that surgeon could be your next door neighbour in this instance. Then again you might have to travel half way round the world to find that surgeon. Im a Caucasian myself and I could have chosen plenty of top doctors in Europe , however I travelled to India for my HT. Try not to let distance, ( in your case near or far ) or cost of the HT cloud your overall judgement . .....Paddy....
  20. There is one big elephant in the room on this one. It's that very small word . ..generic... Never put your trust in any medication that is important to you on this basis. We are lead to believe it's the same, like for like , same amount of active ingredient , and excipents and so on. The pharmaceutical company's are experts at disguising ..like for like. ......... Paddy
  21. Hello👍 @Loadrunner if the surgery is for minor gaps that are spread accross the scalp the risk is low. If the extractions from the doner are well spread the risk is low. There can be variables which include whether medication is taken to help reduce the risk. However it is still possible , and one patients experience to another wouldn't be a good comparison as it very individual. .......Paddy.....
  22. 1 MONTH UPDATE THE NUMBNESS IN THE RECIPENT AREA IS GONE NOW. THERE IS STILL A LITTLE REDNESS BUT NOT NOTICABLE TO ANYBODY WHO MEETS ME. THE SHEDDING SEEMS TO HAVE STOPPED , EVEN THOUGH I HAVE LOST A LOT OF TRANSPLANTED HAIR. THE DONER AREA IS STILL TENDER IN 1 OR 2 PLACES , IT IS 90 % HEALED WHERE IT IS NOT TENDER AND FEELS GOOD . I CONTINUE TO USE ALOE VERA GEL 3 TIMES A DAY TO COMBAT THE ITCHING WHICH IS REALLY WORKING WELL TO STOP IT, AND ALOE VERA GEL HAS WONDERFUL HEALING PROPERTIES AND AN EXCELLENT MOISTURISER . I CONTINUE TO WASH MY SCALP AND HAIR EVERY DAY AS PER DR.PRADEEP ADVICE . I USE JOHNSON'S BABY SHAMPOO AS ITS KIND TO THE SCALP. TOP TIP I HAVE BEEN USING ALOE VERA GEL ON MY RECIPENT AREA IN THE LAST 5 DAYS TO COMBAT DRY SCALP . I HAVE BEEN SUFFERING WITH DRY SCALP AND I HAVE BEEN APPLYING IT 3 TIMES A DAY AND IT IS REALLY WORKING TO STOP THE DRYNESS. ......................PADDY.................... .
  23. Hello @Indian_Canadian . I understand your concern as I was in your position not very long ago. So many questions to ask , you are doing the correct procedure in talking to many doctors and clinics. I made the big decision to have a HT not so long ago after a lot of research. I travelled from Ireland to India and had surgery @Eugenix Hair Science. I have created a thread of my whole experience to date with lots of information for anyone who is considering having a HT. All the best ....Paddy...
