Hello @nordicwarrior . When my HT was completed I stayed that night also. I got up in the morning and had breakfast and after breakfast had antiseptic applied to my doner by the nurse. I had my bag and everything ready to go as I was leaving at 11 in the morning to go to the airport for an afternoon flight. For me there is no point staying another night. I made the decision that I may as well be sitting on a flight home, than perhaps staying watching TV in my room. I was expecting to be feeling good and well after the HT and I was, as my research showed me that @Eugenix Hair Science carry out really clean work and that proved the case for me also thankfully. If I was to do a HT again I would do exactly the same. I was indoors all the time except going out to dinner with Dr Sethi for a few hours. I had to be carefull getting in and out of the car not to bump my head. We walked around as normal like everybody else no problem at all. I could do anything normal , so if you want to visit Delhi for a few days thats no problem at all. You can spray the saline every 2 hours , and take your medication as advised. Needless to say you wont be able to do any activities that would put your self at risk of hitting your head to cause danage to your grafts. ..............Paddy......... .

Hello @Bigjab . Great question. Im hoping to deal with it by forgetting about it and thinking positive that a few months wont be long passing by. As I knew before I set out that this would not be the nice part. Its a short time pain for a long term gain. What I could do is possibly let my doner grow without cutting it short and this would help cover the patchy areas where their might be shock loss. I could add concealer s to help thicken the hair up also.I have never used consealers before. I wont be looking in the mirror every time I pass it to notice how ugly it might look, Im just going to get on with life and try and forget about it. Its a short time pain for a long term gain. The months wont be long passing by. ................Paddy........

@Looking for HT yes travel with only a small case , you wont need to check this in at the desk either where they are long queue s, and will save you loads of time . As you said also on your return home the last thing you want is to be waiting and watching a belt going round and round. TOP TIP : After your HT when its time to come home and when you get to the airport , you will naturally be a little anxious with what to expect , but make sure to get to your departure gate number at the earliest opportunity. I was one of the first at my gate coming home, that means you are one of the first one boarding the aircraft and less stress and worry about protecting your head from people pushing and shoving while putting bags up in a rush all around you. Once you get sitting down , you will be relieved thats another big step out of the way. ...........All the best....... ................Paddy......... ..

TOP TIPS : MY DONER AREA IS FEELING ITCHY , IM NOT SURPRISED AS I CAME ACCROSS THIS INFORMATION DURING MY RESEARCH. BEFORE I HAD MY HT I BOUGHT ALOE VERA GEL . I HAVE BEEN PUTTING THIS ON MY DONER AREA AND IT IS GIVING GREAT RELIEF FROM THE ITCHING. IT IS REALLY REALLY SOOTHING AND REFRESHING AND WILL ALSO HELP THE HEALING PROCESS. ....................PADDY..................

@BeHappy I agree with you in what you say about using beard grafts before they come as a last resort. In that case your scalp doner is limited and most of the transplanted hair will come from the beard . Its much better to have the beard hair mixed in well with scalp hair to give a more natural appearance, as opposed to clumped together in the 1 area. I was told by Dr.Pradeep I have 3000 grafts in my beard if I wish to use. How many grafts were you told you had ? .........Paddy........

@hairlossPA There wont be any difference in your beard hair with density after this age. Thats a good plan to use the beard trimmer, I do exactly the same .I have used my beard hair for my HT, Is this something you are considering later ? ............Paddy..........

Hello @nordicwarrior thanks for your question. I am a norwood 6. I only had a small amount of hair left on the front and mid scalp, and my crown is bald. When I was researching I came accross so much much material and one of the things I noticed time and time again was your doner area is limited. When one is a high norwood like myself , my doner is certainly limited. The second thing I came accross time and time again was one should concentrate on the front and mid scalp and top first. You want to frame your face, then move back . This is what you see obviously when we look in the mirror, look at pictures of ourselves, meet and interact with people. So I wanted to improve and recreate my hairline and then add to whats behind that and work the way backwords. The next thing I came accross in my research is ...NOTHING IS 100% GUARANTEED. Yes all the above makes perfect sense, and Im saying what you know anyway, so why didnt I continue and do the crown as well ....right ? The first thing I said was that my doner ( and everybodys ) is limited. I want to ensure those precious limited grafts are put in the most important area first, which is the front and mid scalp and top. I want to ensure Im happy with that result first. However I wont know what the result of this is going to be untill at least 6 months to the 12 month mark. Im very positive and hopeful I will be happy. But nothing is 100% guaranteed. So lets just say in 12 months time Im NOT satisfied with the final result ? I now have some of my limited doner still left to add to it . If I had to do my crown as well I would regret putting hair on the back of my head when I would much much prefer to have it on the front. Because I didnt do my crown now, I have a back up plan to improve my number 1 priority, because I didnt use those precious grafts in a non priority area in the first place , which is the crown. Lets say Im really happy with my result in 6 months or 12 moths time which Im hopeful of , then I can look at doing my crown. At the same time I can see my doner and assess that situation also in 6 months time as this is another important aspect , of the HT journey. There is always the temptation to go all out and make the most of doing as much as you can with your HT when you areange your date, especially when one has to travel a long distance, however I felt my approach is the best strategy for my own personal individual situation in the long run. @therealmvp2016 these symptoms are certainty related to medication you are taking for hair loss. Oral minoxidil 5mg in particular has shown to cause a high growth surge in other areas apart from the scalp, which in this case you say its the palms of your hands. However your sex drive could be greatly reduced and you will have no desire to do it so it will have no negative effect in your case. .............Paddy..........

@ukpaitent be careful with oral minoxidil if you have, or there is a history of heart issues in the family. .............Paddy..........

In my opinion you would be only dancing around the issue. When you are on the table you should give it your best shot. No point in half going it.The amount of grafts you mentioned would be only for a tiny tiny area. I think you should push forward and discuss everything with your Doctor.
