  1. When you plan your hairline consider the height should be between 7cm and 10cm from the glabella, thats the centre point up over your nose between your 2 eyes . When you and your surgeon decide the most appropriate height from there up on your forehead, you will also have to factor in that your temporal peak areas will also need reconstruction. The lower the hairline obviously the more grafts. When the doctor shows you the line he has drawn in the mirror you will be looking at a 2D image due to asymmetry of the skull, as it is distorted from a 3D image of the doctor. That's why its s a design that should only be done by a highly experienced doctor as it will be your look for the rest of your life. Paddy
  2. If you are sticking to the US Dr.Konier is showing excellent results . However you may consider to widen your search much further afield.
  3. Sorry to hear of such sad stories. So many doctors and clinics do not put the patients welfare and safety first. Then they don't want to know you when you contact them with an issue. Seen this so many times during my research. So my advice would be to carry out lots of research, you only have 1 chance.
  4. Hello @Cristero. As you mentioned Eugenix I had my own HT With Dr.Pradeep and Dr.Arika so I can say for certain you have reached out to excellent doctors . For your information, Dr.Pradeep is visiting Mexico , America and Canada to conduct free consultations for you or anyone else considering a HT. Dr.Pradeep will be in New York from the 28th of Febuary, so it's a good opportunity in my opinion to get an assessment from him. Having said that, as they have said to you you have lots of hair and you should hold off on a HT, I would agree and take that advice and look at your situation in a few years. Paddy
  5. Aloe Vera juice and multivatims for your hair will improve it.
  6. Hello @WayC Sorry to hear of your skin discoloration . Where is it ? Have you got pictures ? What did your doctor say ? Paddy
  7. @Min12 just to get an idea how good my doner is . Also please see the pictures above at the top of this page before a Hair cut. .The picture below is after a haircut. I also have retrograde alopecia, which is reverse thinning over the ears and down towards the nape of the neck even before I had surgery. Paddy.
  8. The above is some of Joe Tillmans strict criteria for acceptance. If it wasnt for this strict criteria he would have many many more clinics on his highly recommended list for Hair Transplantation. Paddy
  9. Hello @Walter I commend you on doing your detailed research , as it will greatly benifit you making your decision. As we know one has to be extremely careful in their research , especially regarding Turkey. There are so many black market FUE clinics causing so much harm and pain, both physically and mentally to patients. I spent 6 years researching where the best doctors and clinics were in the world for my own Hair Transplantation. I studied and had consultations with a number of clinics . When I studied Eugenix in India and compared them to others around the globe I was really impressed with everything about them. Hence I decided to have my HT with Dr.Pradeep Sethi and Dr. Arika Bansal at EUGENIX. Results by Eugenix shown here on the forum are outstanding. The two founding doctors Dr.Pradeep Sethi and Dr.Arika Bansal are highly skilled with excellent doner preservation while at the same time creating optimum density with a great artistic design and very natural hairlines. At this early stage of my HT journey I am extremely satisfied with the current result. Dr. Sethi and Dr. Bansal invented the DHT method, Direct Hair Transplantation. This is the most advance technique of Hair Transplantation, where grafts are extracted and simultaneously implanted at the same time. This method ensures that grafts out of body time are kept to a minimum which in turn allows a lot more grafts to survive .This technique has been proven to deliver outstanding results for so many patients. You can see all these results for yourself on this forum , YouTube, and also on the Eugenix website. In my opinion the cost of a HT should not be one of the main initial considerations where possible when conducting your research. Although I understand everyone has a budget. Eugenix prices are really competitive for the quality delivered , compared to others that are showing inferior results in my opinion. Dr.Pradeep Sethi and Dr.Arika Bansal are very highly regarded in the HT industry, while being active members of several HT organisations around the globe. Dr.Arika published many papers , and both doctors co wrote the book Step by Step Hair Transplantation. This book has proven to be a great learning tool for so many doctors in the HT industry. Both doctors have been asked and have given lots of talks and discussion on the subject of Hair Transplantation to educate other doctors on their skill and knowledge. As we have seen on this forum , and elsewhere, they are experts in dealing with extreme cases of baldness . The very well know Hair Transplant mentor Joe Tillman regards Dr.Sethi and Dr.Bansal very highly, and has accepted them into his highly recommended clinics for Hair Transplantation. Joe Tillmans criteria for acceptance is very strict. Only the best of the best doctors are accepted. Joe has his own reputation to look after, and he turns far more clinics away than he accepts. For example just some of Joes strict criteria are , doctors must be showing exceptional results and doing it consistency . Doctors must be showing very natural temples, and hairlines with great density. Crown work has to be exceptional. Many doctors cant ,or wont do crown work as it such an art. Another strict criteria of Joes is doctors must be experts in carrying out repair work. As a member of this informative forum , where I gained so much knowledge, and now with the experience as being a patient myself, I would highly recommend Dr.Pradeep Sethi and Dr.Arika Bansal at EUGENIX India. Just a final thought, " Doing it right costs less than doing it over again " For your information I have attached Joe Tillmans video, hope it helps. ........................Paddy....................
  10. Hello @Karn I would be very confident Eugenix and Dr.Arika Bansal will manage your doner very well you don't need to have any concerns as they have helped so many patients that were very high norwood 6 and 7 with very limited doner and managed it perfectly. I myself had retrograde alopecia , thinning over the ears and at the nape of the neck and my doner was limited and nearly 3000 grafts were extracted , it was very well managed and today it feels great with no overharvesting in any area at all. This was what I knew before I booked my surgery as I carried out extensive research before hand and I knew I was going to an excellent doctors in Dr.Arika and Dr.Pradeep. They have done so much for patients on this forum also that had limited amount of scalp doner and manage it very carefully which through their own posts were exceptionally happy for. Paddy
  11. Hello @amirik. Congratulations on your HT. You have gone to great doctors at a great clinic. I also had beard grafts removed with my HT at Eugenix and the healing was really fast also. I'm sure you will have a great result. Paddy
  12. @JP34567 @CosmoKramer @Mycroft Thank you for your comments. Yes my scalp feels very good. There is no way I can tell, or anyone else that I had any work done. It's a great testament to Dr.Pradeep and Dr. Arika as I knew their work is really clean. Paddy
  13. Thats the risk you take with fut having a scar. Much easier to see than FUE.The scar can also stretch to make it worse. Paddy
  14. @Abhinay Singh congratulations that is outstanding for only 3 months .That's very reassuring to see as I'm looking forward to my own result soon after having my own HT at Eugenix . Yes the DHT method, advancement of regular FUE, Direct Hair Transplantation which ensures grafts are out of body for a minimum time with no root touch is certainly proving and showing outstanding results. Paddy
  15. @giegnosiganoe be very careful with your research , everyone's scalp differs in laxity. Your scar can stretch also. Make sure you go to the best , and that will reduce your risk. Paddy
  16. Best Wishes Dr.Anil for your new HT. I'm sure you will have a great result. Thanks for the great write up, and video. I had my own HT with Dr.Pradeep and Dr .Arika the end of last year and am looking forward to a great result very soon. Paddy
  17. I think you should wait before you do anything. There are a lot of variables in PRP from clinic to clinic. In any case PRP is blind, you dont know what your going to get. If you just had a HT you don't need it . In my opinion you would be wasting your money. Good luck with your HT. Paddy
  18. I would keep your options open and consider other countries. You might be better looking at making a list of top doctors and working from there. I'm not on medication myself. I had a HT myself @Eugenix Hair Science Dr.Pradeep Sethi and Dr. Arika Bansal , who I would highly recommend to look into. Paddy
  19. 7 TH WEEK UPDATE. ALL GOING WELL . ENJOYING LIFE AND TAKING THINGS AS THEY COME. STILL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE UGLY DUCKLING PHASE. NOTHING MAJOR TO REPORT. MEETING PEOPLE AS NORMAL AND NOBODY MAKING ANY COMMENTS. STILL USING JOHNSON'S BABY SHAMPOO, AND ALOE VERA ON THE RECIPENT AS A MOISTURISER. PADDY
  20. You hair loss is patchy, if you fill in those patches now and more patches of baldness occurs around the newly transplanted you will want to fill that in also. How long will that go on for ? Nobody knows. You will end up chasing your hair for life , and when you use up all your doner in the beginning you will have nothing left. You will have tufs of hair here and there and baldness everywhere else . You will be 10 times worse off than you are now. Forget about what your body is telling you now..WAIT. Concentrate on researching on how to hold on to what you have, that's your priority. Paddy.
  21. I think you should wait and look at your hair situation when its more stable. You still have a lot of hair. A HT at this point in time would not be a good plan. Paddy
