  1. @Zoomster Wow your transformation is incredible. Congratulations on looking so great, you have taken 10 years at least off yourself by having a HT . You are still at a very early stage of growth and after 12 months your results will be amazing. You have some great tips and tricks up your sleeve there to help anyone considering a HT. Congratulations and keep up your routine , you are a fast grower for sure and in the next 2 or 3 months you will have a bigger smile on your face than you have now. All the best , Paddy
  2. Great summary by @Pyrat and @Zoomster . You have made a big effort with your daily routine which is a great commitment to the cause. If one can at all stay away from the mirror and taking photos every day as the more we focus on it and not much is happening one can become anxious and stressed and this can be counter productive. I know it's easier said than done. It's at 12 months or thereabouts is a good time to know to a good degree how ones result will be so it's still very early on the journey to be concerned. The growth will happen soon don't worry about that, everybody grows at their own pace. Best wishes and looking forward to good growth for you in the next 2 or 3 months. Sit tight. Paddy.
  3. @NYCFUE I would be surprised if Dr. Konier has availability as he generally has a long waiting list. If you want to have your HT sooner rather than later you could be really down to 1 choice regardless . This would prompt the first question to ask is what is your availability for 2020 Docs ? Not to mention restrictions and rescheduling of HTs due to Covid-19. All the best Paddy
  4. Hello @Indian_Canadian. I had a great experience at Eugenix. You are going to great doctors and a great clinic. https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/55634-experience-of-an-irishman-after-6-years-researching-puts-his-trust-in-dr-pradeep-sethi-and-drarika-bansal-eugenix-india-for-hair-transplantation-of-a-combination-of-scalp-and-beard-hair/
  5. Very interesting write up Abhinay. I was classified as a grade 6 and went to Eugenix for a HT because of your great Doctors @ EUGENIX. Im now coming up to 5 months post op and extremely pleased with results so far Thank you. Needless to say the small sample of patients in your video above show outstanding results. Congratulations and well done, keep up the great work. Paddy.
  6. Wise decision Jim . You will get plenty of information for your research on this forum . All the best for the future.
  7. The amount of people dying are not statistics. They are somebody's Father , mother , brother, sister, Grandfather, Granmother, Great Grandfather, Great grandmother ,Aunt ,Uncle. Friend and so on. Even with all the best measures in place its such a struggle to stay healthy for everyone, this virus is highly contagious. With all the health and safety measures in place it is saving hundreds of thousands of lives, this can be overlooked. These health and safety measures are savings literally hundreds of thousands of lives. Paddy
  8. The slow growing thin hairs that were placed in your hairline will start to come through more and mature . You will achieve more density and your hairline will thicken. Everyone has their own pace of growth , try not to judge yourself strictly against the next guy. You might be looking at about 60% potential of your HT, but at the same time bearing in mind a HT is an illusion of an original head of hair so expections should be realistic to this factor. Enjoy a good varied diet with protein and up your intake of water for all those nutrients that support good and healthy growth of Hair. Happy Growing. Paddy.
  9. @Looking for HT sounds like a good plan to sit tight and wait for your growth at a natural pace without minoxidil. You don't want shedding when your growth is just around the corner. All the best. Paddy.
  10. From your pictures you have shown a realy nice improvement . The best is yet to come. Continued good growing. Paddy
  11. @JimboAny clinic in the UK that is open now for a HT could not be trusted imo. They don't have their own health as a priority never mind yours. The only thing they are interested in is your money. Go with your gut instinct and stay away. In any case there are doctors outside of the UK who are recommended on this forum who have shown consistently outstanding results. It would be a good plan to check them out, as its such an important decision that will impact you for the rest of your life , so you must get it 100% right. Take your time and don't rush your decision. Paddy
  12. @dwh all the above guys gave you good advice. Don't let your age put you off either, it's never to late. I am in my 50s and I had a HT recently . You probably need 6000 to 7000 grafts for good coverage . @Zoomster made good use of beard grafts , and I did as well. Beard grafts are thicker than scalp hair and would help with achieving coverage for you . This strategy would take the pressure off having a great supply of scalp doner so to speak . Your a high norwood so this would be the way to go imo . Beard grafts are implanted into the mid scalp back and would blend in very well with your scalp hair. The most important thing is to not rush and take your time, do plenty of research , gain as much knowledge about doctors and clinics recommended here . It will change your appearance for the better when you get it right, and change your appearance for the worst if you get it wrong. All the best, Paddy
  13. These areas would be utilised as a last resort in extreme cases of baldness. Your not in this situation so it would be unuasual for this strategy to be considered imo. If you were reluctant to use beard grafts because you want to grow a beard, 2000 grafts being removed from your lower neck area would be doable and you could still have a good beard. Problem solved. Paddy
  14. @Mr Sinister thanks for your pictures. If you let your hair grow out longer this would disguise your areas of depletion. If you don't want to do that You would need about 1500 to 2000 beard grafts implanted to solve the problem. Beard grafts are thicker than scalp hair and would make a good difference. From your pictures you have an abundance of beard grafts to give. For more info on beard grafts and healing etc you can see it on my thread on the home page under RESULTS POSTED BY PATIENTS then EXPERIENCE OF AN IRISHMAN AFTER 6 YEARS RESEARCHING ...... Paddy
  15. @Zoomster Thank you for your kind words. I drink a small cap full of organic Aloe Vera juice each morning . It has great benifits including the support of great hair , skin and nails. It also has a whole host of other benifits including helping to netural PH balance and also to descale the scalp and preventing dryness. I buy it from Holland and Barrett health shop here in Ireland. Paddy
  16. Hello @Struggle thats a great honest write up, sorry to hear of your situation. You are shedding hair at present as you can see it in the wash basin. There is a good chance it will grow back. You are doing the right thing by talking to doctors to get advice on your situation. Don't make any rush decisions and take your time. You are still very young, so you will still probably lose more hair. You will want more than 1 HT if you do decide to go down that route. You don't want to be in a situation where you are chasing your hair loss and run out of doner . Hold off for as long as possible , a decision to have a HT is a major one. If you do decide to look deeper only consider the top doctors, don't let price or distance be an obstacle . You need a good doctor who has your interests and long term plan. Your expections should also be realistic, HTs are an illusion of density, not like for like. Do plenty of research and ask plenty of questions. All the best, Happy Easter Paddy
  17. 4.5 MONTH UPDATE IM VERY PLEASED WITH THE PROGRESS OF HAIR GROWTH SINCE MY LAST UPDATE. I HAVE TRIED TO NOT LOOK IN THE MIRROR EVERY TIME I PASS ONE AS THE BEST THING I CAN DO IS TO TRY AND FORGET ABOUT HAIR GROWTH AS BEST AS I CAN . SO FAR THE PLAN IS WORKING TO A GOOD DEGREE. GROWTH IS IMPROVING SLOWLY WEEK BY WEEK. DENSITY WILL ALSO IMPROVE MONTH BY MONTH FROM NOW ON ALSO. I AM STILL USING JOHNSON'S AND JOHNSON'S BABY SHAMPOO AND ABOUT ONCE EVERY 10 DAYS I USE NIZORAL 1% IF MY SCALP FEELS DRY. I AM ALSO STILL TAKING HAIR VITAMINS AND ALOE VERA JUICE EVERY DAY. SO OVERALL IM VERY PLEASED WITH HOW EVERYTHING IS GOING SO FAR. I WILL UPDATE SOON AGAIN. PADDY.
  18. Hello Mr.Sinister, What are your scars like after FUE ? Do you have any pictures ? Yes you could use beard grafts, or how about more scalp grafts if available.
  19. @Coady take care with Nizoral 2% if used often it can dry your scalp even more. I would recommend try the 1% Nizoral first and see how you go with that . Avocado oil or coconut oil can be useful for dry scalp. I buy hair vitamins from Holland and Barrett health shop here in Ireland, you can order online also. All the best , Paddy
  20. @Said sorry to hear of your terrible experience. What @LonelyGraft mentioned with beard grafts to disguise the scar would be worth looking into. Furthermore you could also consider using beard grafts for your mid scalp back . With due respect your doner does not look the strongest , so beard hair would be the way to go in my opinion . I had beard grafts implanted in the mid scalp and they are thicker than regular scalp hair, and a very good option to have. I had my HT @ EUGENIX you can see my thread posted on the home page under ; results posted by patients. Then.... Experience of an Irishman after 6 years researching.... All the best Paddy
  21. 👍Very well put together, I'll be showing this video to my wife 😁
  22. @NorwoodWhore establish what your family history is for hair loss, your parents and grandparents. This will give you an idea if they were high norwoods you could and most probably eventually end up a norwood 6 at least. A good plan would be to research and make a plan to try and hold onto your existing hair , when its gone its gone forever. You have still plenty of hair especially when your hair is grown out, so don't rush and make a decision to have a HT yet, hold off for as long as you really can. By holding off you will actually be planning for the future and you will know to a good degree what pattern your hairloss is heading and you can make a more calculated decision on coverage and potential doner availability over the long term. If you pull the trigger now it will be a long chase when you see your native hair continuing to fall and fall. Paddy
