  1. @Pyrat Yes my wife very carefully trimmed a very small amount of hair off the mid scalp area recently and also shaved up the sides and back as it was getting out of hand. I did not touch the frontal area where the slower growing hairs were implanted into the hairline. I'm looking forward to the coming months ahead for continued further density and improvement . Paddy
  2. Hello Jay, Thanks for your appreciation you are most welcome. I'm very happy to help as I was in your situation not so long ago and I fully understand the fears and anxiety one goes through. Here are some latest quick pictures I have taken here in the car a few days ago. I have not reached 6 months yet after the HT . I'm very happy.
  3. @Gatsby yes it was Dr . Pradeep and Dr Arika and I got 3582 grafts including beard grafts. Please see my story from the beginning and you will see what each Doctor done , and lots more. Paddy
  4. @Jayant your donor looks weak but if anyone can make the most of it it's Dr.Pradeep and Dr.Arika. you can make the most of your beard grafts also from your mid scalp back. I had retrograde alopecia classified norwood 6 and Dr.Arika and Dr.Pradeep implanted 3582 grafts including beard grafts. I am really happy with my result do far. I wish you the best Paddy https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/55634-experience-of-an-irishman-after-6-years-researching-puts-his-trust-in-dr-pradeep-sethi-and-drarika-bansal-eugenix-india-for-hair-transplantation-of-a-combination-of-scalp-and-beard-hair/
  5. Congratulations Anil. I meet you in the early stages of your HT when I was at Eugenix , it is clear to See you have come a long way since. Well done to all the team @Eugenix Paddy
  6. Congratulations @Traveller99 you look great and a big improvement from where you started. If your concerned about your doner supply you can use beard grafts as I did. You can mix them with regular scalp grafts. The scarring can not be noticed by the naked eye. Paddy
  7. @Eden83 do lots of research and take your time. There is some great doctors out there , don't let distance or cost be a factor not to choose a great doctor. I hope this helps your research... Paddy
  8. Your making a huge contribution to this forum Melvin and Thank you for your dedication , time and hard work. If you were to stop doing what your doing we as members would be the losers. Long may your very positive influence to the forum continue . Paddy
  9. @Pyrat Yes I'm hoping and expecting more density as the hair growth journey takes 12 to 18 months after a HT. This will happen by more transplanted hair coming through, and this will be in addition to what hair is transplanted and grown already and when this happens it will create more density. The transplanted hair that has grown already will also mature more, and the shafts of the Hair will become thicker and more robust also over the coming months. Slow growing hair that was placed in the hairline will also grow more over the coming months which will improve density further. There was about 45 grafts per cm2 placed in the front and graduated back to about 30 grafts per cm2 . Paddy.
  10. Hello Briguy, I dont see any difference as I look in the mirror between the scalp or beard hair. The beard hair is dryer than scalp hair and also more wirey . When I touch the hair I can feel the difference . The beard hair also stands up straighter, and this can be noticed if I have not washed my hair for a day or two. Lately I have been massaging Avocado oil into my scalp for dryness and also it is exceptionally good for moisturizing the hair so overall it's not an issue for me whatsoever. Over time the beard grafts will take the same characteristics of scalp hair and will be less wirey , so by washing my hair regularly anyway dosent make It any issue at all . Paddy
  11. Most countries are still under lots of restrictions.
  12. Here is my experience with Eugenix for your research. Paddy https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/55634-experience-of-an-irishman-after-6-years-researching-puts-his-trust-in-dr-pradeep-sethi-and-drarika-bansal-eugenix-india-for-hair-transplantation-of-a-combination-of-scalp-and-beard-hair/
  13. 5 MONTH UPDATE IT'S STILL EARLY ON MY JOURNEY AND I'M VERY PLEASED WITH PROGRESS SO FAR. THE TRANSPLANTED HAIR HAS CONTINUED TO MATURE AND STRENGTHEN , AND I CAN SEE THE COLOUR IN THE HAIR IS IMPROVING AS IT GAINS STRENGTH AND THOSE SHAFTS OF HAIR THICKENS SO SLIGHTLY. I'M ALSO LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE DENSITY IN THE COMING MONTHS. MY DONER AREA FEELS GREAT AS IT HAS BEEN FOR A FEW MONTHS NOW . PLEASE REFER TO PREVIOUS PICTURES WHEN MY HAIR WAS SHORTER ALSO. ANY QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS PLEASE FEEL FREE. PADDYi
  14. You are very young and it's obvious you are going to progress to a norwood 6 or 7. Plan for the long term, which means in your case now...do nothing. Why ? Because your hair will almost certainly fall soon as your not on medication, ( and even if you did start meds there is no guarantees) so taking your age into consideration you will be chasing what your going to lose in the next few years if you get a HT now. Sit tight and when you lose more hair that will be the right time to strike for gold. Then you will know what doner you have ,to plan accordingly. Your doner looks weak , so you could and will lose that if it's extracted and implanted into your recipent . You will also need to utilise your beard grafts , and mix them with your scalp doner. As hard as it is ,wait untill you lose more , and possibly go from front to mid scalp first, which is the more important and what you see in the mirror and what people see when they interact with you face to face. Then consider your crown only if you have grafts in the bank. Don't do your crown now. You need your precious grafts, remember your doner is not the best, use them for your front and mid scalp first. All the best Paddy https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/55634-experience-of-an-irishman-after-6-years-researching-puts-his-trust-in-dr-pradeep-sethi-and-drarika-bansal-eugenix-india-for-hair-transplantation-of-a-combination-of-scalp-and-beard-hair/
  15. @Aser no your not going bald. What you are experiencing is hair shedding. Those hairs will grow back in time. It's all normal and nothing to be concerned about at all. Paddy
  16. Hello Alex Well done on doing your research, and you will learn so much the more you do. Your still at the early stage of your hair loss, and your only 29. You need to try and establish what your pattern will eventually end up at. Your father and mother and grandparents on both their sides need to be looked at , this will give you a guide. You have to plan for the long term, you will almost certainly want or need more than 1 HT, maybe 2 or 3. You have just started finasteride today, see how it goes for you, be aware that some day you might have to stop using it and your hair loss will speed up. The longer you can hold off on pulling the trigger on doing a HT the better position you will be in as the less chasing you will have to do on your hair loss. You need to realise you might end up to be a norwood 6 or 7 someday. I think you have lots of hair still, your face is still probably framed to a decent degree, you have lost on the crown alright and your using fibres . I would say take your time , doing a HT needs plenty of research, you must get it right first time with a top Doctor. You only have a set amount of doner. The last thing you need is to get a HT and it goes wrong ,then you need to use more of your doner to repair the first HT. This has happened to so many patients , you dont want to be one of them. All the best, and take your time, you have plenty of hair on your side. Paddy
  17. Thanks to @Zoomster recommendation, I have been applying Avocado oil to the scalp in the last few days. It is really good for relieving those dry areas of the scalp, and really helps at keeping the dryness at bay. Another great aspect to using the Avocado oil is it also helps with dry hair. Beard grafts that I had implanted into the mid scalp area are particularly dryier than my scalp hair , it has proven to be a great help to moistorise those hair strands as well as the scalp. I asked Dr.Pradeep in advance of using the Avocado oil and he said it would not be an issue, although it would not add any nutritional benifit to the hair. So thanks again Zoomster, the Avocado oil is proven to be a great addition. This is it for your information. Any good health shop will have it. Paddy.
  18. Great idea Melvin. It would help so many guys , and would be great to get the word out about the forum. Paddy
