  1. I do see what you mean on the one side being thinner than the other. Hopefully it will thicken up some still. I had one side thicken up faster than the other but in the end they evened out. I still think overall it looks nice.
  2. I think you hairline is looking good......give it more time and it will thicken even more. Mine definitely matured in months 11 & 12. In my humble opinion, it is not the hair count that matters......what really matters is whether or not it looks good and natural, which it does.
  3. Thanks Janna for putting this together and thanks to Spanker, Aaron, Irishsailor & Sean for your nice comments. I couldn't be happier with how this all worked out.
  4. Definitely a valid point and concern because the younger the person is, the less predictable their hairloss is over the years.
  5. I think it looks really nice and natural. While I think it is natural to some degree for those involved in the forum and for those who have surgery to become obsessed with every detail of a hairline, no one in public would notice even half of what tends to get noticed by members of the forum. To me, the key is how natural it looks, which by my untrained eyes in looking at results has nothing to do with how dense it is packed or how many grafts were used. I have seen absolutely fantastic results with a conservative amount of grafts used compared to the area covered that look every bit as good as some of the more aggressive use of grafts. Very interested to see how the thread develops.
  6. Agree that these are three great choices to consult with.
  7. I am sure you will be pleased. SMG does great work. Look forward to your progress.
  8. Fantastic result Dr. Konior. I love the clinics who achieve these kind of results with a conservative use of the number of grafts relative to the size of the area addressed.
  9. Have a consult with Dr. Lindsey. He is a top surgeon relatively close to you and you can see a lot of his results on here. The thing with Bosley is you are taking a big risk.......kind of like rolling the dice. I am sure they have some good docs, but there are so many horror stories as well. Also, from what I understand they are more expensive than most of the top HT clinics.
  10. That is great Dr. Charles. Thanks for sharing. I did not know an identical twin could donate hair like that. What a great brother he has and how lucky he was to find you!
  11. You will find that all of the pre HT anxiety is unnecessary. I know it is hard, because I went through the same thing. The procedure is not bad at all (not a walk in the park, but for surgery, not bad). You can't completely conceal it in your eyes, but with the size procedure you are having, no one will notice after the first couple of weeks. I went out to dinner 3 nights after my HT and told the person I was eating with that I just had a HT and they told me they would not have known if I had not told them. You will look back and say to yourself, "why did I get so stressed out over this?" and you will be happy you finally did something about an issue that has bothered you for a long time. You are in great hands dude. Hang in there.
  12. Looking great Sean......at the point now where you can just enjoy your hair!
  13. Fantastic result Janna. That is a big change for him with a relatively small number of grafts.......I am always amazed with how much you guys are able to accomplish relative to the number of grafts used. Hard to believe I am at the one year mark! I am getting a haircut tomorrow and will take some more pics. I may seek some help in putting together a before, post op, six months and one year presentation if that is OK. This dude has to be so happy and he still has more to come!
  14. I like the new style......the great thing is the options!
  15. Congrats Spanker......I love Dr. Konior's work. You chose a great doc. It is hard not to worry, but you are in great hands and I am sure you will be thrilled.
  16. Kira, this is an awesome result. If I were him I would come back for some crown work......it would add a lot to the great work already done.
  17. Looking great! @Irishsailor. I think everyone is different as to when they see the biggest change. I was an early grower an between 3 & 4 months I had a huge change with my new hairline well defined. Significant month to month changes continiued through month 7 and then really slowed down until around month 10 when I started another big change through month 11 in terms of thickness and maturity.
  18. You are so close to the time the hairs are going to be sprouting like crazy.....so just hang in there.
