    When you are talking about the top clinics/surgeons, you really just need to go with who you are the most comfortable with. At that level, you are getting the best skilled surgeons and staff, so one is not better than the other.....Also, remember that most people on here have only been to one clinic. You will get a lot of opinions on who is the best, but there is no one best surgeon or clinic. So my advice to you is have your consultations and go with who you feel best about for you and your situation. You won't go wrong when choosing among the best. That is the way I chose my surgeon/clinic.

    I am very happy and would do it again (in fact I am going back for more, not because I need it but because I had a great result the first time). I voted for the first choice because it fully met all of my expectations. Your expectations have to be realistic........you can't fully restore your full per hairloss look ( unless your loss is very slight). You can definitely make a huge difference.

    Sean, great post. Even though I have not had side effects, other than some initial pain early on, I still don't like taking it. I am just not a fan of taking any type of drug for anything other than something that is really critical to your health. This is the first time I have deviated from that in my life. So, I share your interest on this topic. I also plan to talk to Dr. Shapiro about it when I see him for my next surgery in June.

    That is unfortunate.....no doubt a terrible experience for you. For others reading this thread however, it is important to realize that is not the experience at a top clinic.......in fact, just the opposite. Yes there are risks with any surgey, but as David said the success rate it's extremely high with reputable, ethical surgeons. Additionally, the entire experience is positive with top clinics. It is too bad that there are so many bad eggs in the industry. That is why research is so critical and this forum is a great place for that.

    Dr. Charles is an excellent surgeon who regularly posts here. No issues with his status currently. He continues to have consistently solid results.

    Both great surgeons. Remember that most of the people making comparisons have only had a HT with one of them or none of them. You really need to make your own decision based on who you feel most comfortable with. You went to one of the best in the business the first time and now you are choosing between two more who are among the best. You will be in great hands no matter who you choose.

    Agree......the top clinics in the world use this process. You are right Bonkers.....the real key is research and going to one of the top clinics.

    I feel bad for you.....2500 grafts done right should have yielded a nice result for you. The top surgeons make sure your expectations are in line with what they believe they can achieve for you.

    Agree......all along, Replicel's standard for success was a very low level of growth. I hate to be a skeptic, but with this kind of stuff, I will believe it when I see it and I might not live long enough for that
