  1. @Bobo: You definitely go through periods during the first year when at times it is thicker than others. Probably just the natural cycle and the maturity of the HT. Over the course of the last couple of months (months 10 & 11 particularly) , my HT thickened and matured significantly. So hang in there. @Gandolf: I agree!
  2. Looking good at the early 7 month mark......I am sure he is already happy and he will look even better in a few months.
  3. Thanks Hairthere. Good to know that the FUE is much easier in terms of recovery. I do think I will have it done down the road. I just kind of felt like I needed to take a break and enjoy my new hair for a while.
  4. I would just contact SMG with whatever concerns you have. It is possible that it is just cut way too short, but when you contact SMG they will be able to tell you what if anything you need to do.
  5. Thanks Janna, Aaron, StaggerLee & Chrisdav.....I do appreciate it.
  6. Quick update. I decided not to have my FUE procedure after all. Last week, I realized just how content and happy I was with my hair. Over the last several weeks it has continued to get even better! I just decided that if I was that content with it, there was really no need to do anything else for now. I know the FUE procedure I had planned would have turned out great if I wanted it, but for now I am so happy with my hair restoration. Special thanks to SMG and especially Janna for working out the schedule for the procedure and then canceling it for me today. I know someone will probably be happy they can get in even sooner than they thought. I just can't say enough good things about my experience with SMG from beginning to now. If I change my mind down the road, I will be back for sure!
  7. I agree. This is the danger of the internet. Someone who is not familiar with Hariri could think he is an expert on these matters. The fact is he has never been a patient of any of those doctors, so he does not know. It is great for people to share their own experiences, but people, myself included, who have had one or two HT are not experts by any means and we should be careful what we say on the forums.
  8. That is great to hear Dr. Lindsey. I joined a tri team about 3 months ago and did my first triathlon last weekend (sprint). Several of my teammates were in the same race you and your staff did. Did you guys see Lance Armstrong? I think what you are doing is great and I am glad I was able to support your fundraising. I look forward to your updates and finding out the outcome of your race!
  9. Thanks guys.....really appreciate the comments!
  10. Looking really good...very happy for you!
  11. yes.....my teammates will be surprised when I show up at practice with my new look!
  12. Thanks Janna.....haven't had a crew cut in a long time, but what the heck.....it is summer time!
  13. Thanks everyone for all of your nice comments. I will update again after my FUE.
  14. It really is so pathetic that there are such unscrupulous clinics out there.
  15. Here are some photos at 11 months. I have really noticed a change in the last several weeks with my hair noticeably thicker and just generally more "mature". I was always skeptical of the thought of changes this long after surgery, but it is definitely true that you have to wait a full year or better to see the full results. Very happy with where I am. I am headed back next month for an FUE procedure to primarily close off the corners a little bit. Not really necessary, but I am so happy with the first surgery that I decided to go back for more.....classic hair greed For a complete photo history you can click on the link below and check out my monthly albums.
