I've been set on ASMED for the last 5 years... but Keser is impressive too.. What do u think? Do you need under 2500 grafts? Keser. ASMED is good for larger sessions, though they seem to be really slipping on hairlines.

I personally went with Keser as his results seem consistant and he seems to get good results without needing so many grafts. It also puts my mind at ease knowing a top surgeon did the whole procedure not a group of techs who's background you don't know!
Senior Member Mr S Posted April 24, 2019 Author Senior Member Share Posted April 24, 2019 3 Month Update : I’ve decided to give fin a break. as some mild sexual sides seem to have appeared after around 9 months of use 😞. I may try again on a smaller dose in a few months if things go back to normal. I have added minoxidil foam & biotin 10k to my regime.

I've heard members mention that stopping fin isn't a great decision. Please do your own research, but from what I understand, it is recommended to lower the dosage, then slowly wean off of it. Good luck and good to see the progress coming along. If you're thinking of traveling abroad, consider this read: Airfare guide

Senior Member Spanker Posted May 20, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted May 20, 2019 I recommend sticking to fin. Sincerely. But the transplant looks to be coming along very nicely. Senior Member Sean Posted May 20, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted May 20, 2019 Wow, it looks to be ahead of schedule and the probability is that this is going to be a great result. It already looks good at this stage. Again, was this done with complete manual extraction? Were any motorized drills used to extract grafts or was it a manual punch? Thanks.

I will let things settle for a good few months see if everything goes back to normal and try to resume some kind of dosage to see how i get on. Yes it was all done manually and the Dr performed the entire procedure from start to finish. Edited May 20, 2019 by Mr S

Yes it was all done manually and the Dr performed the entire procedure from start to finish. I, perhaps unadvisedly, continued with Dutasturide after experiencing sides. My blood tests a few months after I started taking it were alarming to say the least, but I (perhaps stupidly) decided to continue taking it. My blood tests recently shown that my hormones had completely fallen back into natural ranges despite continuing to take the drug. Now I'm happy to continue taking it for the rest of my life. I hope you find a way to keep taking it. It's vital in maintaining the results of your hair transplant. I have also taken Oral Minoxdil for years without issues, I'm wondering if I'll see the results of my recent 900 grafts with Dr. Keser more rapidly. Doctors often say failed transplants are do to with poor blood flow - just a theory. Edited May 20, 2019 by jonnyalex

Senior Member bismarck Posted June 19, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted June 19, 2019 Keser certainly has a softer touch it seems, and gets strong early growth compared to most.
jonzi
I think I once saw a video of Dr Keser where he first extract like 20 grafts and then immediately implants them. Goes back to extracting and again implants directly. Very little time out of the body. Could explain very early growth. If I wanted high success rate that is what I would do. Can you confirm or did I just make this up? I think I once saw a video of Dr Keser where he first extract like 20 grafts and then immeditaly implants them. No he extracted around 400-600 grafts per day and had around a 20 min break before implanting. I believe his method is to not put too much shock into the area in one session, and let the scalp recover a little before repeating this process. The only downside to spreading the procedure over multiple days is the dam anastheic injections every day as they hurt like a bitch! Even more so when your head is swollen from the previous days. But makes perfect sense from a medical perspective. Edited June 20, 2019 by Mr S
