  1. Pretty bizarre how you concluded that from my entire post... why do you think I just had surgery with Keser? Frankly I would never have surgery with Bhatti and even regret doing so with Erdogon. I feel both those surgeons should no longer be recommended here. I think its pretty clear he'll need a 2nd surgery with a much more skilled surgeon.
  2. Completely incorrect. You would have to be extremely unlucky to suffer side effects and in most people they are temporary. If you want to hold on to your hair, you need to take it. In your case of early MPB, it is not wise to undergo a hair transplant without it either.
  3. Been using 10k Biotin for years. It 100% improves the actual quality and thickness of the individual hairs and makes it grow quicker. It does the exact same for nails. Just be careful if you are prone to acne.
  4. This may or may not be true, but Koray Erdogan doesn't perform the surgery, he just spends a few minutes making slits in your head and then he's gone. I should know.
  5. This is what you get when you go with a world class surgeon. No marketing, no technicians, no bullshit. I wish I could go back and use him for my previous surgery too. This forum needs to rethink who it recommends here.
  6. Bill I completely respect the work you do here, but I do think Nebulosity has a point. I've not seen a HT look so bad after that amount of time. I have heard of slow growers, but the donor looking like this after months? That is not good, the extraction pattern looks bad. The recipient area also looks terrible after this amount of time. I have had a large HT and even though I wasn't happy with the hairline, both the donor and recipient looked drastically better than this after 3/4 months. If I put myself in his shoes, I would find it hard to walk around in public like this. I am always perplexed by Dr. Bhatti's gappy placement in the recipient area. Sometimes it seems to work, other times it doesn't. Nebulosity, what I will say is, a patient of whom I just had my second HT with, Dr Keser, was absolutely fuming and criticizing the doctor on every HT forum on the internet, had to backtrack and admit he was wrong after 6 months when the hair growth suddenly went into overdrive. So I also see where Bill is coming from. For some reason, different people react in completely different ways to this form of a plastic surgery. I really feel for you and I am extremely hopeful that in your case things suddenly change. I know it is isn't easy. Try and hold on until the 6/7 month point to get a real idea of where you are headed. Try to avoid mirrors until that point.
  7. I, perhaps unadvisedly, continued with Dutasturide after experiencing sides. My blood tests a few months after I started taking it were alarming to say the least, but I (perhaps stupidly) decided to continue taking it. My blood tests recently shown that my hormones had completely fallen back into natural ranges despite continuing to take the drug. Now I'm happy to continue taking it for the rest of my life. I hope you find a way to keep taking it. It's vital in maintaining the results of your hair transplant. I have also taken Oral Minoxdil for years without issues, I'm wondering if I'll see the results of my recent 900 grafts with Dr. Keser more rapidly. Doctors often say failed transplants are do to with poor blood flow - just a theory.
  8. Wow, I was with Dr. Keser on the 10th of May, you are making me feel confident of a good result here!
  9. No, I didn't make a thread, I went to ASMED based on his results which seemed much better back then, not based on the messes we are seeing here. Trust me, I have since learnt things that his fellow professionals in the industry think about him which I'm not going to go as far as saying. My experience there was bad. Its not how you are supposed to be treated during a cosmetic surgery that you pay a large amount of money for. I spent minutes with the surgeon, minutes! Everything behind the hairline was ok and it damn well better be for 4600 grafts when I only bloody needed 2000 according to my latest surgeon. And to the people defending all these latest pluggy results. Please. Just stop. My advice to anyone is go to a surgeon who performs the surgery himself. It seems like common sense when you say it out loud, right? I was younger but still should have known better.
  10. This is what I have just done. I am sitting in my hotel in Ankara ready to go back to London tomorrow. My hairline was nowhere near as bad as some of what I have seen lately from ASMED, but it was not not good at all and bothered me for many years since 2015. The experience with Dr. Keser was night and day to ASMED.. I literally have no words to describe the difference that having the doctor do everything himself makes. He even lowered my graft estimate by 100, the guy is seriously ethical. I was also told my donor was aggressively harvested and that ASMED's estimation that I began with 8000 grafts was way off. Hope I can finally be done with all this now.
  11. Hi Bill, Has Dr Keser ever sought recommendation here? I heard he barely markets himself due to lack of time to handle a large influx of patients, but I was just wondering if he had attempted this in the past? Thanks.
  12. He show 0 sign whatsoever that he had a hair transplant, sure it's a lot for grafts but that looks as natural as you can get!
  13. Do not worry at all my friend. This worry is very common and if you keep this thread updated, you will be crediting the doctor while teaching others about the important of patience. Remember, you could be seeing serious regrowth now, this might turn out to be a mind blowing result for 1700 grafts. Extremely happy and excited for you.
  14. This guys results are really good, he seems to be a serious up and comer. I'm seeing the man he worked under before going solo, Dr. Keser (who bought FUE to Turkey), in about a week. I think you can be confident in your decision if you go with Dr. Kaan Pekiner. The reason you don't see many results in the English language forum is because he seems to be marketing himself towards, Germany, Italy and Spain. Their are many results in those forums.
  15. Yes, it recovered, I had it bad on one of my sides and was, in my mind, resigned to the fact it would never recover, It took 4 months but recovered entirely. Don't worry, 99% of the time, it will recover.
  16. Despite the fact that I already had a large HT at ASMED, for some reason I am more nervous than ever for my second one (with Dr. Keser this time). I'm only having 1000 grafts in a very small area, but if 1700 can achieve this, I feel much less anxious. I'm sure ASMED would have quoted you 4000 grafts for this.
  17. For 1700 grafts in a such a massive area and after only 6 months... this is incredible. You have 6 months of growth left! You must surely be getting happier by the month!
  18. You are absolutely fine to use it by now. Don't worry. You'd only need to worry if it was irritable to you. As you have used it for years, it clearly isn't.
  19. "In 2016 it was the 75th most prescribed medication in the United States with more than 10 million prescriptions." - It is not going anywhere. In the Western world, this drug is here to stay. source: https://clincalc.com/DrugStats/Top300Drugs.aspx
  20. It certainly will not be taken off the market at all, it's a major medication for enlarged prostates, it's primary purpose. Here in the UK, it's very rare a doctor will prescribe it for hair loss, we need to get it from approved NHS online pharmacies after completing a questionnaire. It's easy to obtain legally here so I can't imagine it is much different in France.
  21. I agree with you somewhat regarding price, I am going for the most expensive guy in Turkey. I simply won't be able to afford H&W or Rahal prices.- I'd need to save for years. I want to get this fixed and live my life and I confident in my choice of surgeon this time. 3.5 euros per graft isn't cheap either.
  22. Be very careful about considering a hair transplant without Fin. Yesterday in the Italian forum, I seen a Rahal patient who's hair completely thinned out and he was left with just a hairline and a heavily diffused NW7 pattern in a matter months after the surgery!.
  23. I knew from your initial photos who this doctor was. Why does his work always seem so different to any other doctor? The graphs are always way further apart than normal, those gaps are just too wide. Also, I can't understand why any doctor would harvest your donor in that manner? I mean just.. why?
  24. I have to admit, if I could afford it, it would be either H&W or Rahal
